针对余吾煤业公司北一采区辅运上山顶板下沉量大的实际情况,通过钻孔探测,确定了顶板破碎的范围,掌握了顶板岩性、裂隙发育及离层等情况;再以探测数据为依据,制定和实施了先注浆、后补打锚索的加固方案.通过7周的矿压观测,发现顶底板移近量为2 mm,两帮移近量为3 mm,取得了良好的加固效果.

Collaboratively envisioning the future of community psychology in Canada: From talk to action.

Community Psychology (CP) is a relatively young and marginalized discipline in Canada, with only four graduate programs, concentrated in two provinces–Ontario and Québec. Recognising the need to develop cohesion and an identity as a field, several senior Canadian community psychologists proposed hosting a biennial conference, which began in 2002 at the University of Ottawa. Starting in 2006, the conference became a forum for CP faculty, students, and community partners to collaboratively develop a vision for the future of CP in Canada. Diverse teams of conference participants were engaged in facilitated discussions, culminating in a plenary session in which delegates shared their perspectives with the larger group. Eight themes emerged from the visioning exercises in 2006, which led to the development of special interest groups in the following areas: developing a sense of identity; clarifying and defining the field of CP; raising the profile of CP in Canada; promoting a CP education across Canada; enhancing recognition, credibility, and accreditation; establishing links within the field of psychology; building interdisciplinary bridges; international and diverse perspectives; and promoting healthy communities through grassroots social action. Community detection by modularity maximization using GRASP with path relinking

Complex systems in diverse areas such as biology, sociology and physics are frequently being modelled as graphs, that provide the mathematical framework upon which small scale dynamics between the fundamental elements of the system can reveal large scale system behavior. Community structure in a graph is an important large scale characteristic, and can be described as a natural division of the vertices into densely connected groups, or clusters. Detection of community structure remains up to this date a computationally challenging problem despite the efforts of many researchers from various scientific fields in the past few years. The modularity value of a set of vertex clusters in a graph is a widely used quality measure for community structure, and the relating problem of finding a partition of the vertices into clusters such that the corresponding modularity is maximized is an NP-Hard problem.     

Evolutionary optimization for ranking how-to questions based on user-generated contents

In this work, a new evolutionary model is proposed for ranking answers to non-factoid (how-to) questions in community question-answering platforms. The approach combines evolutionary computation techniques and clustering methods to effectively rate best answers from web-based user-generated contents, so as to generate new rankings of answers. Discovered clusters contain semantically related triplets representing question–answers pairs in terms of subject-verb-object, which is hypothesized to improve the ranking of candidate answers. Experiments were conducted using our evolutionary model and concept clustering operating on large-scale data extracted from Yahoo! Answers. Results show the promise of the approach to effectively discovering semantically similar questions and improving the ranking as compared to state-of-the-art methods.     

Photovoltaics in agriculture: A case study on decision making of farmers

This paper aims to identify the success factors, incentives, barriers and challenges in the adoption process of photovoltaics (PV) in the agricultural sector, with particular focus placed on decision making of individual farmers and network effects. We investigated a successful case of an Austrian farmers' association that set up a community power plant concept and a society for facilitating PV adoption among farmers. We found that PV adoption decisions are driven by economic and environmental considerations and that while ethical considerations are relatively strong among farmers, they cannot be used as predictors in the decision making process. Results furthermore suggest that while adoption of PV increases belief in technological progress as a solution to environmental problems, it may simultaneously lead to a weakening in the belief that underlying lifestyle changes are necessary. Our conclusions address crucial aspects of PV adoption in agriculture, and implications for policy measures related to respective community initiatives.

Who exactly is the moderator? A consideration of online knowledge management network moderation in educational organisations

In the knowledge society, the appearance and development of new networked working and learning environments is increasingly common. In the Accelera project, which is the basis for this paper, we have developed an online community of practice which enables experiences and knowledge to be shared between various educational agents, and analysis of the processes generated, in order to produce and validate a model for the networked creation and management of knowledge.
