Synthesis of polymeric pour point depressants for Nada crude oil (Gujarat,India) and its impact on oil rheology

Five flow improvers have been synthesized to study rheological properties of Nada crude oil (Gujarat, India). Anhydride copolymers were prepared making use of the copolymerization of acrylates of different alkyls with maleic anhydride and the Poly (n-alkyl acrylates-co-N-hexadecylmaleimide) were prepared by the reaction of copolymer with hexadecylamine. The additives were purified and characterized by FTIR, GPC. The prepared polymeric additives shows dual function both as wax dispersants and flow improvers and all of them acts as good pour point depressants. Yield stress and the viscosity of the crude oil at different temperatures and concentrations of additives were evaluated by zero friction advanced rheometer AR-500 of TA instrument. Comparison of morphologies and structures of wax crystals or aggregates in waxy crude oils beneficiated with and without a PPD was also done by micro photographic studies which show the modification in wax crystal morphology due to additives.

控制棒钴吸收体的活度分布

应用单组中子微扰理论,对辐照后控制棒钴吸收体内活度分布进行理论分析,得到活度分布计算的解析表达式。对高通量工程试验堆(HFETR)首次出堆的2根控制棒钴吸收体进行数值计算。利用钴靶活度水下测量装置进行这2根钴吸收体活度分布的实验测量。计算与实验测量结果相符。通过理论计算所得到的活度分布可作为辐照后~(60)Co同位素分装依据。本文得到的控制棒相对价值曲线理论计算值与实验测量结果符合良好。     

Electronic locking devices based on microcontrollers and chaotic maps using Model-Matching Control

In this work a real-time communication system using Arduino® microcontrollers, applied to electronic locking devices, is implemented. Model-Matching Control is used to achieve synchronization between transmitter and receiver Arduino® microcontrollers using only one transmission channel. Model-Matching Control is fed with dynamics from both Arduinos. Transmitter Arduino® is used also to generate in real-time an encrypted chaotic code key based on the Chen map. Receiver Arduino® recover in real-time the chaotic code key that is a binary signal key of an electronic locking device and where wireless communication is made between the two Arduinos using Bluetooth modules. System evaluation in terms of performance, randomness, and time complexity, are shown, as well as experimental results and some discussions are presented.     

高沸点溶剂法合成原乙酸三甲酯

对低沸点溶剂法制备原乙酸三甲酯工艺进行了改进，比较了煤油、2-乙基己醇、氯苯、异佛尔酮、邻苯二甲酸二丁酯、乙二醇二丁醚等高沸点溶剂对反应的影响，筛选出最优高沸点溶剂煤油：研究了新反应体系的醇解pH值、溶剂的循环使用次数对反应的影响及溶剂循环损耗率，结果表明，醇解的最佳pH值为5．6；随着溶剂循环次数增加，原乙酸三甲酯收率从83．6％(1次)逐渐下降到76．7％(16次)；溶剂次平均损耗率4．6％。实现了直接蒸馏产品，溶剂循环使用的新工艺。避免了旧工艺先蒸溶剂，后蒸产品，产品大量分解，收率低等缺点。     

Domestic and Industrial Wastewater Treatment with Ozonated Activated Sludge

Poor sludge settleability is a problem encountered in many activated sludge wastewater treatment plants. This study was aimed at combatting the unwanted biological growths at the root of this phenomenon with ozone. Ozone dosed directly into the aeration basins of small activated sludge pilot plants treating both domestic and synthetic fuel wastewaters led to a substantial reduction of the bulking problem even at dosages as low as 6 to 10 mg/L. Ozone did not interfere in the delicate nutrient removal processes and significantly enhanced effluent quality.     

Security concepts for the dynamics of autonomous vehicle networks

The secure operation of autonomous vehicle networks in the presence of adversarial observation is examined, in the context of a canonical double-integrator-network (DIN) model. Specifically, we study the ability of a sentient adversary to estimate the full network’s state, from noisy local measurements of vehicle motions. Algebraic, spectral, and graphical characterizations are provided, which indicate the critical role of the inter-vehicle communication topology and control scheme in achieving security.     

一种实验用双色染料搅拌机的结构设计与控制实现

根据教学实验需要,创新设计了一种双色染料搅拌机的主体结构,为保证设备的有效使用,将其中的主要支承部件利用Solidworks进行了三维造型设计,并运用SimulationXpress分析向导对其应力状态、安全系数进行仿真优化,最后通过Siemens S7-200 PLC对其整体结构进行控制,能够完全的满足需要.本装置有控制过程简单方便、结构新颖、占用空间小等优点,具有良好的推广与应用价值.     

Managing nutrient losses from rural point sources and urban environments

Nutrient loss from rural point sources and urban environments need to be minimised as part of strategies to overcome declining water quality on the Swan Coastal Plain and in the Peel-Harvey estuary in Western Australia. This paper discusses the management of nutrient losses from domestic effluent, urban stormwater runoff, domestic gardens and public open space, intensive animal industries and intensive irrigated agriculture. Measures to minimise nutrient losses from these sources are outlined, using cooperative, technological and regulatory approaches.
