This paper describes a novel model for fetal heart rate (FHR) monitoring from single-lead mother?s abdomen ECG (AECG) measurements. This novel method is divided in two stages: the first step consists on a one-step wavelet-based preprocessing for simultaneous baseline and high-frequency noise suppression, while the second stage efficiently detects fetal QRS complexes allowing FHR monitoring. The presented structure has been simplified as much as possible, in order to reduce computational cost and thus enable possible custom hardware implementations. Moreover, the proposed scheme and its fixed-point modeling have been tested using real abdominal ECG signals, which allow the validation of the presented approach and provide high accuracy.  相似文献

This paper mainly studies the notions of detectability and observability for discrete‐time stochastic Markov jump systems with state‐dependent noise. Two concepts, called “W‐detectability” and “W‐observability,” for such systems are introduced, and are shown to coincide with the other concepts on detectability and observability reported recently in literature. Moreover, some criteria and interesting properties for both W‐detectability and W‐observability are obtained.  相似文献

传统的基于主成分分析的人脸识别需要将图像矩阵转化为向量,特征提取需要花费大最时间.二维主成分分析直接利用图像矩阵,特征提取速度快,但特征数量大,影响分类速度.因此,提出了一种基于离散余弦变换(DCT)的二维主成分分析(2DPCA)和直接线性判决分析(DLDA)结合的人脸识别方法.算法首先用DCT对人脸图像进行压缩并重建,然后利用2DPCA和DLDA对人脸图像进行特征提取.最后选用最近邻分类器进行分类.在ORL人脸库上的测试结果表明,与DLDA或2DPCA算法相比,算法具有更高的识别率.  相似文献

This paper focuses on hierarchical classification problems where the classes to be predicted are organized in the form of a tree. The standard top-down divide and conquer approach for hierarchical classification consists of building a hierarchy of classifiers where a classifier is built for each internal (non-leaf) node in the class tree. Each classifier discriminates only between its child classes. After the tree of classifiers is built, the system uses them to classify test examples one class level at a time, so that when the example is assigned a class at a given level, only the child classes need to be considered at the next level. This approach has the drawback that, if a test example is misclassified at a certain class level, it will be misclassified at deeper levels too. In this paper we propose hierarchical classification methods to mitigate this drawback. More precisely, we propose a method called hierarchical ensemble of hierarchical rule sets (HEHRS), where different ensembles are built at different levels in the class tree and each ensemble consists of different rule sets built from training examples at different levels of the class tree. We also use a particle swarm optimisation (PSO) algorithm to optimise the rule weights used by HEHRS to combine the predictions of different rules into a class to be assigned to a given test example. In addition, we propose a variant of a method to mitigate the aforementioned drawback of top-down classification. These three types of methods are compared against the standard top-down hierarchical classification method in six challenging bioinformatics datasets, involving the prediction of protein function. Overall HEHRS with the rule weights optimised by the PSO algorithm obtains the best predictive accuracy out of the four types of hierarchical classification method.  相似文献

In this paper, a modified teaching–learning-based optimisation (mTLBO) algorithm is proposed to solve the re-entrant hybrid flowshop scheduling problem (RHFSP) with the makespan and the total tardiness criteria. Based on the simple job-based representation, a novel decoding method named equivalent due date-based permutation schedule is proposed to transfer an individual to a feasible schedule. At each generation, a number of superior individuals are selected as the teachers by the Pareto-based ranking phase. To enhance the exploitation ability in the promising area, the insertion-based local search is embedded in the search framework as the training phase for the TLBO. Due to the characteristics of the permutation-based discrete optimisation, the linear order crossover operator and the swap operator are adopted to imitate the interactions among the individuals in both the teaching phase and the learning phase. To store the non-dominated solutions explored during the search process, an external archive is used and updated when necessary. The influence of the parameter setting on the mTLBO in solving the RHFSP is investigated, and numerical tests with some benchmarking instances are carried out. The comparative results show that the proposed mTLBO outperforms the existing algorithms significantly.  相似文献

The warehouse order-picking operation is one of the most labour-intense activities that has an important impact on responsiveness and efficiency of the supply chain. An understanding of the impact of the simultaneous effects of customer demand patterns and order clustering, considering physical restrictions in product storage, is critical for improving operational performance. Storage restrictions may include storing non-uniform density stock keeping units (SKUs) whose dimensions and weight constrain the order-picking operation given that a priority must be followed. In this paper, a heuristic optimisation based on a quadratic integer programming is employed to generate a layout solution that considers customer demand patterns and order clustering. A simulation model is used to investigate the effects of creating and implementing these layout solutions in conjunction with density zones to account for restrictions in non-uniform density SKUs. Results from combining layout optimisation heuristics and density zoning indicate statistical significant differences between assignments that ignore the aforementioned factors and those that recognise it.  相似文献

Hierarchical Interface-Based Supervisory Control employs interfaces that allow properties of a monolithic system to be verified through local analysis. By avoiding the need to verify properties globally, significant computational savings can be achieved. In this paper we provide local requirements for a multi-level architecture employing command-pair type interfaces. This multi-level architecture allows for a greater reduction in complexity and improved reconfigurability over the two-level case that has been previously studied since it allows the global system to be partitioned into smaller modules. This paper also provides results for synthesizing supervisors in the multi-level architecture that are locally maximally permissive with respect to a given specification and set of interfaces.  相似文献

Binary tomography represents a special category of tomographic problems, in which only two values are possible for the sought image pixels. The binary nature of the problems can potentially lead to a significant reduction in the number of view angles required for a satisfactory reconstruction, thusly enabling many interesting applications. However, the limited view angles result in a severely underdetermined system of equations, which is challenging to solve. Various approaches have been proposed to address such a challenge, and two categories of approaches include those based on optimization and those based on algebraic iteration. However, the relative strengths, limitations, and applicable ranges of these approaches have not been clearly defined in the past. Therefore, it is the main objective of this work to conduct a systematic comparison of approaches from each category. This comparison suggested that the approaches based on algebraic iteration offered both superior reconstruction fidelity and computation efficiency at low (two or three) view angles, and these advantages diminished at high view angles. Meanwhile, this work also investigated the application of regularization techniques, the selection of optimal regularization parameter, and the use of a local search technique for binary problems. We expect the results and conclusions reported in this work to provide valuable guidance for the design and development of algorithms for binary tomography problems.  相似文献

To provide both a high payload capacity and a good stego-image quality, a high payload frequency-based reversible image hiding (HPFRIH) method was presented in this paper. These performances can be achieved by transforming a cover image from the spatial domain into the frequency domain through Haar digital wavelet transform (HDWT) method followed by an adaptive arithmetic coding method to encode the HDWT coefficients in a high-frequency band. The HPFRIH method was used to conceal both the compressed data and the secret data in the high-frequency band. This simple method can completely reconstruct the cover image only from the stego-image. Moreover, experimental results showed that the HPFRIH method offers both impressive hiding capacity and satisfied stego-image quality.  相似文献
