针对传统单机视频检索效率低下的问题,设计了一种基于Hadoop的分布式视频车辆检索方法。该方法首先将视频切割成多个分块,然后利用MapReduce和FFMPEG在分布式环境下提取视频帧,再通过车牌识别算法检索其中出现的车牌号码,最后计算出车辆在视频中出现的时间。实验结果表明,与单机检索方式相比,该方式具有更强的数据处理能力和更高的检索效率。  相似文献

Spectral and structural characteristics of distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) in vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers were studied with photoluminescence and double- crystal X- ray diffraction measurement. The expected high quality epitaxial DBR structure was verified. In the X- ray double- crystal rocking curves of DBR the zeroth- order peak, the first and second order satellite peaks were measured. Splitting of diffraction peak appeared in the rocking curves was analyzed. The effects of introduced deep energy levels on the structural perfection and optical properties were discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, we show how an underlying system’s state vector distribution can be determined in a distributed heterogeneous sensor network with reduced subspace observability at the individual nodes. The presented algorithm can generate the initial state vector distribution for networks with a variety of sensor types as long as the collective set of measurements from all the sensors provides full state observability. Hence the network, as a whole, can be capable of observing the target state vector even if the individual nodes are not capable of observing it locally. Initialization is accomplished through a novel distributed implementation of the particle filter that involves serial particle proposal and weighting strategies that can be accomplished without sharing raw data between individual nodes. If multiple events of interest occur, their individual states can be initialized simultaneously without requiring explicit data association across nodes. The resulting distributions can be used to initialize a variety of distributed joint tracking algorithms. We present two variants of our initialization algorithm: a low complexity implementation and a low latency implementation. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithms we provide simulation results for initializing the states of multiple maneuvering targets in smart sensor networks consisting of acoustic and radar sensors. This paper proposes a methodology to simulate temperature dependent timing in standard cell designs. Temperature dependent timing characteristics are derived from standard delay format (SDF) files that are created by synthesis tools automatically based on SPICE characterizations. In addition, a fast calculation of temperatures using the equivalent Foster RC network is presented. A case study is also presented in this paper where the temperature dependent frequency variation of a ring oscillator is simulated demonstrating the necessity of temperature dependent timing simulations. An adaptively refineable partitioning method for simulating standard cell designs logi-thermally is proposed as well. This paper also introduces recent enhancements in the CellTherm logi-thermal simulator developed in the Department of Electron Devices, BME, Hungary. Finally, the simulation results are compared and verified with the SPICE compatible ELDO analog simulator from Mentor Graphics.  相似文献

Self-organization of wireless sensor networks, which involves network decomposition into connected clusters, is a challenging task because of the limited bandwidth and energy resources available in these networks. In this paper, we make contributions towards improving the efficiency of self-organization in wireless sensor networks. We first present a novel approach for message-efficient clustering, in which nodes allocate local “growth budgets” to neighbors. We introduce two algorithms that make use of this approach. We analyze the message complexity of these algorithms and provide performance results from simulations. The algorithms produce clusters of bounded size and low diameter, using significantly fewer messages than the earlier, commonly used, Expanding Ring approach. Next, we present a new randomized methodology for designing the timers of cluster initiators. This methodology provides a probabilistic guarantee that initiators will not interfere with each other. We derive an upper bound on the expected time for network decomposition that is logarithmic in the number of nodes in the network. We also present a variant that optimistically allows more concurrency among initiators and significantly reduces the network decomposition time. However, it produces slightly more clusters than the first method. Extensive simulations over different topologies confirm the analytical results and demonstrate that our proposed methodology scales to large networks.  相似文献

Video coding technologies have played a major role in the explosion of large market digital video applications and services. In this context, the very popular MPEG-x and H-26x video coding standards adopted a predictive coding paradigm, where complex encoders exploit the data redundancy and irrelevancy to ‘control’ much simpler decoders. This codec paradigm fits well applications and services such as digital television and video storage where the decoder complexity is critical, but does not match well the requirements of emerging applications such as visual sensor networks where the encoder complexity is more critical. The Slepian–Wolf and Wyner–Ziv theorems brought the possibility to develop the so-called Wyner–Ziv video codecs, following a different coding paradigm where it is the task of the decoder, and not anymore of the encoder, to (fully or partly) exploit the video redundancy. Theoretically, Wyner–Ziv video coding does not incur in any compression performance penalty regarding the more traditional predictive coding paradigm (at least for certain conditions). In the context of Wyner–Ziv video codecs, the so-called side information, which is a decoder estimate of the original frame to code, plays a critical role in the overall compression performance. For this reason, much research effort has been invested in the past decade to develop increasingly more efficient side information creation methods. This paper has the main objective to review and evaluate the available side information methods after proposing a classification taxonomy to guide this review, allowing to achieve more solid conclusions and better identify the next relevant research challenges. After classifying the side information creation methods into four classes, notably guess, try, hint and learn, the review of the most important techniques in each class and the evaluation of some of them leads to the important conclusion that the side information creation methods provide better rate-distortion (RD) performance depending on the amount of temporal correlation in each video sequence. It became also clear that the best available Wyner–Ziv video coding solutions are almost systematically based on the learn approach. The best solutions are already able to systematically outperform the H.264/AVC Intra, and also the H.264/AVC zero-motion standard solutions for specific types of content.  相似文献

The recent development of open-source 3-D printers makes scaling of distributed additive-based manufacturing of high-value objects technically feasible and offers the potential for widespread proliferation of mechatronics education and participation. These self-replicating rapid prototypers (RepRaps) can manufacture approximately half of their own parts from sequential fused deposition of polymer feedstocks. RepRaps have been demonstrated for conventional prototyping and engineering, customizing scientific equipment, and appropriate technology-related manufacturing for sustainable development. However, in order for this technology to proliferate like 2-D electronic printers have, it must be economically viable for a typical household. This study reports on the life-cycle economic analysis (LCEA) of RepRap technology for an average US household. A new low-cost RepRap is described and the costs of materials and time to construct it are quantified. The economic costs of a selection of 20 open-source printable designs (representing less than 0.02% of those available), are typical of products that a household might purchase, are quantified for print time, energy, and filament consumption and compared to low and high Internet market prices for similar products without shipping costs. The results show that even making the extremely conservative assumption that the household would only use the printer to make the selected 20 products a year the avoided purchase cost savings would range from about $300 to $2000/year. Assuming the 25 h of necessary printing for the selected products is evenly distributed throughout the year these savings provide a simple payback time for the RepRap in 4 months to 2 years and provide an ROI between >200% and >40%. As both upgrades and the components that are most likely to wear out in the RepRap can be printed and thus the lifetime of the distributing manufacturing can be substantially increased the unavoidable conclusion from this study is that the RepRap is an economically attractive investment for the average US household already. It appears clear that as RepRaps improve in reliability, continue to decline in cost and both the number and assumed utility of open-source designs continues growing exponentially, open-source 3-D printers will become a mass-market mechatronic device.  相似文献
