The disturbance attenuation and robust disturbance attenuation problems for Hamiltonian systems in the discrete‐time setting are considered and some new results are presented. The new results are derived utilizing the recently presented dissipativity equality obtained by adding the dissipation rate function to the classical dissipativity inequality. A selection of the dissipation rate function yields new results. These results include a condition on the dissipation structure of the system to achieve the desired disturbance attenuation level and gives direct construction of optimal control laws for any desired disturbance attenuation level. The vertical attenuation coefficient of diffuse downwelling irradiance at 490 nm (Kd 490) is a parameter that we routinely derive from SeaWiFS images of the Baltic Sea. Here, through model simulations, we examine the relationship between Kd(490), and the vertical attenuation coefficient of PAR (Kd PAR), as this later coefficient determines the light available for aquatic photosynthesis. A simple semi-analytical model is used to predict Kd(490) and Kd(PAR), as a function of the concentrations of chlorophyll, colored dissolved organic material (CDOM), suspended inorganic, and suspended organic particulate material. A series of model simulations based on variations in these optically significant constituents over a range realistic for the Baltic Sea, are used to define the relationship between the two attenuation coefficients.

A multi-objective controller synthesis problem is considered in which an output is to be regulated approximately by assuring a bound on the steady-state peak amplification in response to an infinite-energy disturbance, while also guaranteeing a desired level of performance measured in terms of the worst-case energy gain from a finite-energy input to a performance output. Relying on a characterization of the controllers with which almost asymptotic regulation is accomplished, the problem of guaranteeing the desired level of performance is reduced to solving a system of linear matrix inequalities subject to a set of linear equality constraints. In practical electro-pneumatic or hydraulic servo mechanism, there is usually an unavoidable operating delay time in the solenoid
valves. This may sometimes cause closed-loop instability if the time delay is not treated carefully in the control system
designs. Furthermore, pneumatic actuators can offer high performance at low cost, but are often suffered from external disturbances
depending on the operating conditions. This paper proposes a non-model-based design approach for pneumatic actuating systems.
In the proposed control system, a gain scheduled fuzzy-PID controller ensures tracking performance an adaptable wavelet neuro
compensator compensates for time-delay of the control valve, and a disturbance rejecter diminishes influence from load changes.
A condition ensuring the closed-loop stability is derived. The proposed design is experimentally verified to show its effectiveness. 相似文献
