Visualizing Waypoints‐Constrained Origin‐Destination Patterns for Massive Transportation Data 下载免费PDF全文
Origin‐destination (OD) pattern is a highly useful means for transportation research since it summarizes urban dynamics and human mobility. However, existing visual analytics are insufficient for certain OD analytical tasks needed in transport research. For example, transport researchers are interested in path‐related movements across congested roads, besides global patterns over the entire domain. Driven by this need, we propose waypoints‐constrained OD visual analytics, a new approach for exploring path‐related OD patterns in an urban transportation network. First, we use hashing‐based query to support interactive filtering of trajectories through user‐specified waypoints. Second, we elaborate a set of design principles and rules, and derive a novel unified visual representation called the waypoints‐constrained OD view by carefully considering the OD flow presentation, the temporal variation, spatial layout and user interaction. Finally, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our interface with two case studies and expert interviews with five transportation experts. 相似文献

This paper investigates the influence of goal awareness and IT self-efficacy on job satisfaction based on the motivation sequence model, goal-setting theory, and social cognitive theory. Using a large-scale field survey of healthcare enterprise resource planning (ERP) system users (n?=?352), this study investigates these relationships and provides important insight to healthcare ERP system researchers and managers. Both goal awareness and IT self-efficacy influence positive job satisfaction of healthcare ERP system users, as expected. Furthermore, the influence of goal awareness is stronger when the role of ERP systems is highly perceived for decision-making of the job. There was no interaction effect between goal awareness and IT self-efficacy in the post hoc analysis. The model is significantly supported by the empirical test with the large number of field data from healthcare ERP system users in the healthcare company. ABSTRACTGestural interaction devices emerged and originated various studies on multimodal human–computer interaction to improve user experience (UX). However, there is a knowledge gap regarding the use of these devices to enhance learning. We present an exploratory study which analysed the UX with a multimodal immersive videogame prototype, based on a Portuguese historical/cultural episode. Evaluation tests took place in high school environments and public videogaming events. Two users would be present simultaneously in the same virtual reality (VR) environment: one as the helmsman aboard Vasco da Gama’s fifteenth-century Portuguese ship and the other as the mythical Adamastor stone giant at the Cape of Good Hope. The helmsman player wore a VR headset to explore the environment, whereas the giant player used body motion to control the giant, and observed results on a screen, with no headset. This allowed a preliminary characterisation of UX, identifying challenges and potential use of these devices in multi-user virtual learning contexts. 在线媒体快速发展,为用户带来丰富多彩信息的同时,用户的参与也给在线媒体本身带来巨大的经济利益。因此,如何通过精确预测用户的偏好以增加在线媒体点击,成为一个学术界和工业界均关注的问题。现有的预测方法主要是借助用户个人信息和历史行为来预测用户行为,然而此类方法没有考虑媒体本身缺乏用户信息造成无法预测的问题。随着社交网络的发展,在线媒体与服务运营商间的兼并或合作的增多,支持用户通过单一账户使用多个媒体网络服务的情况越来越常见,这就为基于用户在社交网络中的资料预测用户在其他媒体中的喜好提供海量可信的基础数据。该文基于社交网络Google+和视频媒体YouTube的数据,首先证明用户在YouTube偏好具有高度的集聚性,并提出用户在社交网络中偏好与其在线媒体点击行为具有关联性,基于这种关联性,该文使用社交网络用户信息预测用户在在线媒体中的点播行为。实验结果显示,使用社交网络用户信息可以有效预测用户偏好,预测准确率比仅使用媒体本身信息提高了17%,而且能满足用户个性化需求。 相似文献

社交网络作为一种交往方式,已经深入人心。其用户数据在这个大数据时代蕴藏着大量的价值。随着Twitter API的开放,社交网络Twitter俨然成为一个深受欢迎的研究对象,而用户影响力更是其中的研究热点。PageRank算法计算用户影响力已经由来已久,但是它太依赖于用户之间的关注关系,排名不具备时效性。引入用户活跃度的改进PageRank算法,具备一定的时效性,但是不具有足够的说服力和准确性。研究了一种新的基于时间分布用户活跃度的ABP算法,并为不同时段的活跃度加以相应的时效权重因子。最后,以Twitter为研究对象,结合社交关系网,通过实例分析说明ABP算法更具时效性和说服力,可以比较准确地提高活跃用户的排名,降低非活跃用户排名。 相似文献

This paper presents an extensive comparative evaluation of five popular foreground/background sketch-based interactive mesh segmentation algorithms, addressing the quantitative assessment of the accuracy, efficiency, and stability of each algorithm. To facilitate the comparison, we have developed a complete framework with an intuitive and simple sketch-based interface to enable interactive mesh segmentation by marking strokes to specify the foreground and background with the mouse buttons, allowing us to quantify the algorithms in a unified manner. The evaluation has been performed via extensive user experiments in which each participant was assigned to segment models with the evaluated algorithms and the corresponding update of each segmentation was recorded as a new refinement when additional interactions were added. We then collected the segmentations from participants and evaluated them against the ground-truth corpus constructed from the Princeton segmentation database. To investigate how well the interactive segmentations match the ground-truth, five metrics were used to measure the boundary and region accuracy of segmentations. By studying the experimental results, we have analyzed the performance of the evaluated algorithms and provided valuable insights into their characteristics. 相似文献
