We have been exploring the use of handheld devices for computer-supported collaborative work. We believe there is a particularly interesting synergy between handheld devices and awareness. We describe several prototypes. One provides email awareness via pagers. Another integrates that email awareness system with an existing colleague awareness system. Two other prototypes are used for note-passing among colleagues when adversaries are present. Note-passing requires both awareness of the receiving party's identity and taking measures against the adversary's awareness of the note-passing activity.  相似文献

本文以藕淀粉为原料,对化学改性法增抗的影响因素及工艺进行了研究,采用单因素实验和L9(33)正交实验,研究了pH值调节剂、酸解温度、时间对抗性淀粉(Resistant Starch,RS)含量百分率的影响。结果表明:pH值调节剂是影响RS含量的主要因素;最佳增抗工艺参数:pH值调节剂柠檬酸、时间4h、温度100℃。  相似文献

Nickel micromesh sheets were designed and fabricated and their water-repellent and water-proof abilities were characterized. The network-type microstructures of the micromesh sheets functioned as micro-protrusions of lotus leaves, which allowed the sheets to superhydrophobic. The micromesh enabled the material waves, including sound and light waves, to pass through the microholes, but repelled water. Because of the effects of the micromesh and plasma polymerized fluorocarbon (PPFC) coating, the contact angle of the micromesh sheets was drastically jumped up from 63° of the non-coated nickel flat film to 140° of the PPFC-coated nickel micromesh, which modified the nickel sheet from hydrophilic to superhydrophobic. The narrower lattice width in the micromesh was more effective at enhancing the water-repellency. On the other hand, the narrow lattice width weakened the water-proof ability. Reducing the hole size and increasing the lattice width of the micromesh are necessary to improve the water-proof ability.  相似文献

This study evaluated the effects of a single-stage tempering treatment during microwave vacuum drying (MVD) on drying characteristics and quality of lotus (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) seeds using two parameters: intermediate moisture content (IMC) and tempering temperature (4 and 25°C). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was used to examine moisture migration and distribution in individual lotus seed during tempering. Results from MRI showed tempering could reduce the moisture gradient in lotus seeds during MVD. The tempering treatments led to increased moisture diffusivity (3.96–43.56%) and a shortened drying time (6.25–31.25%) when compared with continuous MVD. Furthermore, tempered samples exhibited a greater rehydration capacity, a limited overall color change, and increased amounts of taste-active amino acids when compared with nontempered lotus seeds. High IMC improved rehydration ratios of dried samples. Low tempering temperature provided favorable free amino acid content and desirable product color.  相似文献

A facile and inexpensive way have been developed to fabricate robust self-cleaning superhydrophobic coating by depositing polymer layer on candle soot (CS) surface using dip coating method. The stability and robustness of the CS deposited superhydrophobic surface is much weaker due to weak interaction and nonchemical bonding with the substrate. We introduced a thin layer of polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene (PP), and polyvinylidene fluoride on CS surface in order to improve its mechanical properties. The fabricated surfaces with the use of respective polymers exhibited water contact angles of nearly 170, 174, 175, and 171° with sliding angles of 2, 1, 1, and 3°, respectively. Although, all the polymers used in this work exhibited excellent superhydrophobic and self-cleaning surface property, we found that the PP deposited CS surface exhibit better stability against water jet hitting and water drop impact tests. The PP deposited CS surface almost maintained their surface properties even after 50 cycles of sandpaper abrasion and 20 cycles of adhesive tape peeling tests. The mechanical durability tests confirmed that PP is a better polymer to improve the long-term durability of CS surface. Therefore, this simple, time saving, and inexpensive method for fabricating superhydrophobic coating can be used for potential industrial application.  相似文献
