Glutamine synthetase (GS) is the key enzyme involved in the assimilation of ammonia derived either from nitrate reduction, N(2) fixation, photorespiration or asparagine breakdown. A small gene family is encoding for different cytosolic (GS1) or plastidic (GS2) isoforms in legumes. We summarize here the recent advances carried out concerning the quaternary structure of GS, as well as the functional relationship existing between GS2 and processes such as nodulation, photorespiration and water stress, in this latter case by means of proline production. Functional genomic analysis using GS2-minus mutant reveals the key role of GS2 in the metabolic control of the plants and, more particularly, in carbon metabolism. 相似文献

上海莲花河畔景苑7#住宅楼的倒塌,引起了社会各界的关注。事故发生后,市抢险指挥部和闵行区政府分别指定上海现代设计集团华东建筑设计研究院有限公司和上海建工集团第七建筑有限公司承担后续工程的设计和施工。后续地下车库基坑周边紧邻多幢住宅楼,原车库基坑的围护结构因开挖深度增加和变形控制要求的提高无法利用,成为后续基坑工程实施的障碍物,另外工程工期紧迫,这些因素成为后续基坑工程设计和施工的难点。综合现场环境、工期和施工等条件,最终确定采用型钢水泥土搅拌墙结合一道钢支撑的板式支护结构方案。基坑实施监测表明,采用的支护方案为现场施工的开展和加快工期创造了良好的条件,确保了周边住宅楼的安全,为后续工程的顺利开展创造了良好的条件。 相似文献

The complete wetting of rough surfaces is only poorly understood, since the underlying phenomena can neither be described by the Cassie‐Baxter nor the Wenzel equation. An experimental accessiblility by the sessile drop method is also very limited. The term “superhydrophilicity” was an attempt to understand the wetting of rough surfaces, but a clear definition is still forthcoming, mainly because non‐superhydrophilic surfaces can also display a contact angle of zero. Since the Wilhelmy balance is based on force measurements, it offers a technology for obtaining signals during the whole wetting process. We have obtained evidence that additional forces occur during the complete wetting of rough surfaces and that mathematically contact angles for a hydrophilicity beyond the contact angle of zero can be defined by imaginary numbers. A hydrophilized TPS‐surface obtained by chemical wettability switching from a superhydrophobic surface has been previously characterized by dynamic imaginary contact angles of 20i°–21i° and near‐zero hysteresis. Here an extremely high wetting rate is demonstrated reaching a virtual imaginary contact angle of ΘV,Adv > 3.5i° in less than 210 ms. For a rough surface displaying imaginary contact angles and extremely high wetting rates we suggest the term hyperhydrophilicity. Although, as will be shown, the physical basis of imaginary contact angles is still unclear, they significantly expand our methodology, the range of wettability measurements and the tools for analyzing rough hydrophilic surfaces. The in vitro antioxidant activity of lotus germ oil extracted by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) has been investigated. The distinctly high total phenolic compounds content and tocopherol content in lotus germ oil composition were found to be 9.06 ± 0.11% and 485.1 ± 50 mg/100 g, respectively. The lotus germ oil exhibited a dose-dependent inhibitory effect on the hydroxyl free radical and superoxide anion free radical. However, the scavenging effects on the superoxide anion free radical were deceased when the extract concentration was greater than 70 mg/mL. Lotus germ oil showed substantial antioxidant activity in the mice liver and kidney tissues homogenates in a dose-dependent manner. The auto-haemolysis of mice red blood cells was also blocked by lotus germ oil in a dose-dependent manner. Lotus germ oil showed a higher antioxidant activity in the lard system. The high content of phenolic compounds and tocopherol in the lotus germ oil could partially account for the antioxidant activity. These results suggest the lotus germ oil can be used as healthcare oil to develop. 相似文献

The anti-inflammatory effects of the crude extract (CE) of Lotus corniculatus var. São Gabriel and its derived hexane (HEX), ethyl acetate (AcOEt), n-butanol (BuOH) and aqueous (Aq) fractions and isolated compounds kaempferitrin, oleanolic acid and β-sitosterol, in a mouse model of pleurisy induced by carrageenan were investigated. Swiss mice were used in the in vivo experiments. The crude extract of L. corniculatus and its derived fractions, and also its isolated compounds, inhibited leukocytes, exudation, and myeloperoxidase (MPO) and adenosine-deaminase (ADA) activities, as well as nitrite/nitrate concentration and interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) level (p < 0.05). L. corniculatus showed important anti-inflammatory activity by inhibition not only of leukocytes and/or exudation, but also of pro-inflammatory enzymes and mediators such as MPO, ADA, and IL-1β. The constituent’s kaempferitrin, oleanolic acid and β-sitosterol may well account for it. 相似文献

The present study investigated the effect of chitosan coating containing antibrowning agents and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) on the browning and shelf life of fresh-cut lotus root stored at 4 °C for 10 days. The atmosphere in the packages was evaluated for O2 and CO2 concentrations. The browning on the surface of lotus root slices was prevented by chitosan-based coating and MAP treatment. L* values of coated + MAP and control samples were 68.8 and 48.9 after 8 days storage, respectively. For a? and b? values, samples of coated + MAP treatment had the slowest increasing trends among all the treatments. At the end of storage, the coated + MAP samples exhibited the lowest polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content. Its highest overall visual quality (OVQ) scores (> 7) demonstrated that chitosan-based coating + MAP treatment could provide a better inhibitory effect on the browning and extend the shelf life of fresh-cut lotus root.Industrial relevance: Fresh-cut vegetables have drawn the attention of industry as a novel lightly processed product. Both edible coating and MAP treatment cause changes in atmosphere composition and respiration rate of lotus root slices. This combined treatment could be used to control the browning and improve the storage life of this fresh-cut vegetable. This information could be useful for the development of novel application to edible coating and MAP design for lightly processed lotus root. 相似文献
