Since a large field of view obviously bears important advantages, the use of spherical images is becoming increasingly important in various computer vision and image processing applications. This paper presents a novel rotation estimation approach for spherical images based on 3D mesh representation of gray level intensity. Once the 3D meshes of the underlying spherical images are obtained, the 3D rotation can be estimated directly and efficiently, without feature extraction and matching process. Subsequently, we propose a direct method for 3D object rotation estimation using spherical harmonics representation with SVD decomposition and ICP algorithm for estimation refinement. Experimental results validate our approach and prove its suitability and robustness for rotation estimation. Moreover, it performs well against noisy images, brightness changes, image compression and occlusions. A comparative study of our proposed approach with four similar methods for 3D rotation estimation between spherical images, is realized to prove its effectiveness.  相似文献

In this paper, we report for the first time a novel dual metal gate (MG) integration process for gate-first CMOS platform by utilizing the intermixing (InM) of laminated ultra-thin metal layers during high-temperature annealing at 1000 °C. In this process, an ultra-thin (2 nm) TaN film is first deposited on gate dielectric as a buffer layer. Preferable laminated metal stacks for NMOS and PMOS are then formed on a same wafer through a selective wet-etching process in which the gate dielectric is protected by the TaN buffer layer. Dual work function for CMOS can finally be achieved by the intermixing of the laminated metal films during the S/D activation annealing. To demonstrate this process, prototype metal stacks of TaN/Tb/TaN (NMOS) and TaN/Ti/HfN (PMOS) has been integrated on a single wafer, with WF of 4.15 and 4.72 eV achieved, respectively. Threshold voltage (Vth) adjustment and transistor characteristics on high-k HfTaON dielectric are also studied.  相似文献

Surfaces enabling directional liquid transportation are of great interest for a wide range of applications such as water collection, microfluidics, and heat transfer systems. Surfaces capable of lossless, long-range passive transportation of low surface tension (LST) liquids using wettability patterned, liquidlike coatings with minimal contact angle hysteresis are reported. Lossless LST droplet travel distances over 150 mm are achieved, enabled by a two-phase transportation mechanism: morphological transformation from a bulge to a channel shape, followed by directional transportation along the asymmetrical wedge-shaped channel. The developed surfaces can split, merge, and precisely transport various low-surface tension liquids, including alcohols, alkanes, and solvents. The developed transportation strategy can also enhance LST liquid dropwise condensation through continuous removal of the condensate, even on horizontally positioned surfaces without the assistance of gravity.  相似文献

设计了一种具有良好带通性能的二阶双通带高阶频率选择表面(FSS)。该FSS结构是在两层介质板上加载三层金属层。利用仿真软件对FSS结构进行计算,并加工实验样件并测试。结果表明:这种三层FSS具有二阶双通带性能,它的3 dB通带分别为10.26~12.24 GHz和16.61~17.49 GHz,两通带平稳光滑,中心插损小,且对不同角度、不同极化方式入射的电磁波保持很好的稳定性。  相似文献

Vacancy-type defects in SrTiO3 were studied by means of positron annihilation. Thin CeO2 films were grown on SrTiO3 substrates by molecular-beam epitaxy without using an oxidant; oxygen was supplied by diffusion from the substrate. This process is referred as “auto-feeding epitaxy” (AFE). The species of defects introduced into the substrate was found to be not only oxygen vacancies but also Sr-vacancies or their complexes. CeO2 films were grown also on MgO, yttria-stabilized zirconia and sapphire substrates using AFE, and these substrates were characterized by positron annihilation.  相似文献

Structured surfaces have attracted wide attention because of their great potential in directional transport, liquid collection or separation, microfluidics, etc. However, it remains a big challenge to design a surface that can distinguish various liquids, utilize their inherent properties to control their transportation, and realize functional applications. Herein, it is presented an asymmetric soft-structure functional surface (ASFS) with arrayed curvature units that can make the Laplace pressure as a driving force to determine the preferential spreading direction and show abundant transport behaviors for liquids with different surface tensions. With good deformability, the proposed ASFS can directionally transport liquids along complex terrains, e.g., 1D-tilted, 2D-curved, and 3D-helical trajectories. It is also demonstrated that the ASFS can achieve synchronous or asynchronous liquid mixing by choosing appropriate liquids. Moreover, the intelligent response ability allows the ASFS to be a portable contact angle discriminator. This study proposes a new strategy to manipulate liquids via their intrinsic properties and opens new avenues for application-oriented liquid operation surfaces.  相似文献

Use of a continuous-flow plug fermentor to ferment glucose solutions was found to be possible only with unrefined commercial glucose and not with pure glucose. Even when the former was used problems were encountered due to a gradual increase in back pressure across the yeast bed. With the commencement of glucose metabolism in the yeast bed, ‘shock’ excretion of potassium and magnesium ions as well as of low molecular weight nitrogenous material was observed. The product from the fermentor contained an abnormally high level of α-diketones viz., 1–3 mg/litre.  相似文献
