可分２－Ｄ系统是一类具有良好特性的重要的特殊２－Ｄ系统，它在多方面均有重要的应用．本文在已有结果的基础上对具有可分性的２－Ｄ多输入多输出系统在再实现问题、渐近稳定性代数判据、状态观测器设计等方面进行了较为广泛的研究，得到了许多较好的结果．     

Stabilization of uncertain boundary control systems

We consider a class of linear infinite-dimensional systems subject to boundary uncertainties, which are linear and time-invariant. Using a deterministic approach to the design of stabilizing feedback controls, uniform exponential stability of the zero state is achieved. Lyapunov techniques are combined with Datko or Ichikawa theory. Three illustrative examples are presented.     

Industrial Text and French Neo-structuralism

Parallel to, and to some degree inreaction to French poststructuralisttheorization (as championed by Derrida,Foucault, and Lacan, among others) is a Frenchneo-structuralism built directly on theachievements of structuralism using electronicmeans. This paper examines some exemplaryapproaches to text analysis in thisneo-structuralist vein: SATOR's topoidictionary, the WinBrill POS tagger andFrançois Rastier's interpretativesemantics. I consider how a computer-assisted``Wissenschaft' accumulation of expertisecomplements the neo-structuralist approach.Ultimately, electronic critical studies will bedefined by their strategic position at theintersection of the two chief technologiesshaping our society: the new informationprocessing technology of computers and therepresentational techniques that haveaccumulated for centuries in texts.Understanding how these two informationmanagement paradigms complement each other is akey issue for the humanities, for computerscience, and vital to industry, even beyond thenarrow realm of the language industries. Thedirection of critical studies, a small planetlong orbiting in only rarefied academiccircles, will be radically altered by the sheersize of the economic stakes implied by a newkind of text, the industrial text, thetechnological heart of an information society.     

Design and Implementation of a Flexible Manufacturing Control System Using Neural Network

Design and implementation of a sequential controller based on the concept of artificial neural networks for a flexible manufacturing system are presented. The recurrent neural network (RNN) type is used for such a purpose. Contrary to the programmable controller, an RNN-based sequential controller is based on a definite mathematical model rather than depending on experience and trial and error techniques. The proposed controller is also more flexible because it is not limited by the restrictions of the finite state automata theory. Adequate guidelines of how to construct an RNN-based sequential controller are presented. These guidelines are applied to different case studies. The proposed controller is tested by simulations and real-time experiments. These tests prove the successfulness of the proposed controller performances. Theoretical as well as experimental results are presented and discussed indicating that the proposed design procedure using Elman's RNN can be effective in designing a sequential controller for event-based type manufacturing systems. In addition, the simulation results assure the effectiveness of the proposed controller to outperform the effect of noisy inputs.     

An Effective Software Pipelining Algorithm for Clustered Embedded VLIW Processors

This paper proposes a software pipelining framework, CALiBeR (ClusterAware Load Balancing Retiming Algorithm), suitable for compilers targetingclustered embedded VLIW processors. CALiBeR can be used by embedded systemdesigners to explore different code optimization alternatives, that is, high-qualitycustomized retiming solutions for desired throughput and program memory sizerequirements, while minimizing register pressure. An extensive set of experimentalresults is presented, demonstrating that our algorithm compares favorablywith one of the best state-of-the-art algorithms, achieving up to 50% improvementin performance and up to 47% improvement in register requirements. In orderto empirically assess the effectiveness of clustering for high ILP applications,additional experiments are presented contrasting the performance achievedby software pipelined kernels executing on clustered and on centralized machines.

Information systems and uncertainty: a conspiracy of misplaced confidence

Abstract. Information technology is becoming an increasingly important factor in contemporary management. Information systems are being set up in business explicitly to accommodate the new opportunities of this technology, and these are having a lasting effect on managerial practice. The full implications of this technology-driven development have not been appreciated by organizations, which in absorbing technological systems, are tolerating a great drain on their resources.
The efficacy of computers is predicated on the acceptance of some very specific perspectives. A growing discontent and disappointment with their limited achievements is our reason for advocating a different point of view. We will discuss how a shift in perspective, particularly in respect to the perception of uncertainty, will affect thinking and practice in the field of management support systems. We will render our view of the application of computerized decision support systems (DSS), and especially, we will focus on the beliefs and assumptions that have shaped this technology thus far. To this end we will discuss the concept of uncertainty, by juxtaposing current thinking and practice with our understanding of the context of its application. Finally, we will place our understanding of uncertainty in a managerial context and explain the implications this would have for strategists.     

Multibody simulation tool for the calculation of lashing loads on RoRo ships

Approximately 80% of the international transport of goods is carried on by means of ships. A large portion of the transport capacity is represented by Roll-on-Roll-off (RoRo) ships. Especially in Europe this is a relevant potential for the RoRo segment. Consequently, the design and construction of RoRo ships plays an increasing role for German shipyards and their suppliers. In order to make the loading and unloading procedure of trailer economically more competitive, ship owners would like to improve the lashing of trailers on the ship. On the basis of a multibody system formalism, a software tool has been developed which allows for an optimization of the loading of trailers on RoRo ships. Commemorative Contribution.     

An analog circuit design environment based on cooperating blackboard systems

A novel approach to design automation for analog circuits is presented. The prototype implementation-OASE-has been realized as a set of cooperating expert systems with blackboard architecture. The circuit specific knowledge bases use hybrid representation schemes and are strictly separated from an execution engine containing the necessary control knowledge. This alleviates the knowledge acquisition process as well as the extension and maintenance of existing knowledge. OASE has been developed as a design assistant, featuring different levels of interactivity, a hierarchical design style and fully embedded algorithmic standard tools. In its current version it is able to design a broad range of different CMOS operational amplifiers.
