The robust feedforward (FF) output-feedback (OF) control problem of (possibly open-loop unstable) continuous exothermic jacketed reactors with isotonic kinetics with respect to reactant concentration is considered. The volume, temperature, and concentration must be regulated by manipulating the feed, exit and coolant flowrates on the basis of volume and temperature measurements. The problem is addressed as an interlaced controller-observer design within a constructive control framework. The result is a quasi linear-decentralized (qLD) FF-OF dynamic controller which: (i) recovers (up to observer convergence) the behavior of a robust nonlinear FF-SF controller, (ii) has closed-loop stability conditions coupled with conventional-like tuning guidelines, and (iii) constitutes an add-on to the PI control scheme commonly employed in industrial reactors. The approach is tested with an open-loop unstable reactor example through simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider global adaptive output-feedback control of nonlinear systems in output-feedback form, with unknown parameters entering nonlinearly. Such unknown parameters are not required to lie in a known compact set. Our proposed adaptive output-feedback controller is a switching-type controller, in which the controller parameter is tuned in a switching manner via a switching logic. Global stability results of the closed-loop system have been proved.  相似文献

This paper describes some experimental results concerning the practical implementation of a recently proposed nonlinear output-feedback control technique based on the higher-order sliding mode approach. The considered technique is applied to the motion control problem for an underwater vehicle prototype that is equipped with a special propulsion system based on hydro-jets with variable-section nozzles. To cope with the heavy uncertainties affecting the prototype dynamics the output-feedback control system has been developed by means of an observer-controller that combines a second-order sliding-mode controller and a second-order sliding-mode differentiator. The reported experiments show that the proposed approach is capable of guaranteeing fast and accurate response under several operating conditions. The control system design procedure, and the main implementation issues, are discussed in detail.  相似文献

In this paper, the output tracking control is investigated for a class of nonlinear systems when only output is available for feedback. Based on the multivariable analog of circle criterion, an observer is first introduced. Then, the observer-based output tracking controller is constructively designed by using the integral backstepping approach together with completing square. It is shown that, under relatively mild conditions, all the closed-loop signals are uniformly bounded. Meanwhile the system output asymptotically tracks the desired output. A simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper studies the data-driven output-feedback fault-tolerant L2-control problem for unknown dynamic systems. In a framework of active fault-tolerant control (FTC), three issues are addressed, including fault detection, controller reconfiguration for optimal guaranteed cost control, and tracking control. According to the data-driven form of observer-based residual generators, the system state is expressed in the form of the measured input–output data. On this basis, a model-free approach to L2 control of unknown linear time-invariant (LTI) discrete-time plants is given. To achieve tracking control, a design method for a pre-filter is also presented. With the aid of the aforementioned results and the input–output data-based time-varying value function approximation structure, a data-driven FTC scheme ensuring L2-gain properties is developed. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology, two simulation examples are employed.  相似文献

In this paper, an output-feedback adaptive control is presented for linear time-invariant multivariable plants. By using the dynamic surface control technique, it is shown that the explosion of complexity problem in multivariable backstepping design can be eliminated. The proposed scheme has the following features: (1) The L performance of the system’s tracking error can be guaranteed, (2) it has least number of updated parameters in comparison with other multivariable adaptive schemes, and (3) the adaptive law is necessary only at the first design step, which significantly reduces the design procedure. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper investigates the robust adaptive output-feedback control for a class of nonlinear systems with general uncertainties and unknown parameters. First, a stable state observer is constructed and the system state is observed, and then the adaptive output-feedback controller is constructively designed for tracking the given reference signal. It is proven that the constructed controller is robust to the uncertainties of both the unknown parameters and the system states. These results show that the global stability of the resulting closed-loop systems has been guaranteed and the ε-tracking problem has been solved. Meanwhile, it is also proven that the tracking error tends to a ‘steady state’ at the negative exponential attenuating rate. Simulation examples show that the tracking effects of the designed adaptive control systems are good, and the control quantities used in the simulation examples are always within the range of the admissible control.  相似文献

This paper investigates output-feedback control for a class of stochastic high-order nonlinear systems with time-varying delay for the first time. By introducing the adding a power integrator technique in the stochastic systems and a rescaling transformation, and choosing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasoviskii functional, an output-feedback controller is constructed to render the closed-loop system globally asymptotically stable in probability and the output can be regulated to the origin almost surely. A simulation example is provided to show the effectiveness of the designed controller.  相似文献

This paper presents a nonlinear output-feedback control method to force an underactuated vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft with delayed measurement outputs to asymptotically track a given reference trajectory. The control development is based on a delayed-output observer. The proposed observer consists of two-step observation algorithms reconstructing the system state with multi-delayed time instants. Conditions are given ensuring global exponential convergence to zero of the observation error for the given the delays in the measurements. Moreover, two low-dimensional controllers are designed separately to stabilize the two decomposed flight dynamics, and make the overall closed-loop system stable. The merits of method include its simple implementation and interesting application. Numerical simulations illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.  相似文献
