This paper aims at developing a novel preference ranking organization method for enrichment evaluations (PROMETHEE) using a Pythagorean fuzzy combinative distance-based precedence approach under complex uncertainty based on Pythagorean fuzzy sets. This paper introduces a new generalized distance measure for adequately expressing differences between Pythagorean fuzzy information and utilizing fundamental parameters of Pythagorean membership grades. This paper defines the useful concept of precedence indices for determining the desirability of evaluative ratings about competing alternatives on a criterion. In Pythagorean fuzzy contexts, this paper establishes a combinative distance-based precedence approach for reflecting an overall balance between the connection with approach-oriented anchor values and the remotest connection with avoidance-oriented anchor values. This paper presents six types of new preference functions and proposes the comprehensive preference index for measuring the intensity of a pairwise preference. Based on the concepts of a dominant flow, a dominated flow, and an outranking flow, this paper develops a Pythagorean fuzzy PROMETHEE-based method and validates its feasibility and applicability using a multiple criteria decision-making problem of bridge-superstructure construction methods. A sensitivity analysis is carried out to investigate the effects of various parameter settings on the partial preordering and complete preordering of alternatives. Furthermore, a comparative analysis is performed with other relevant methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

为了对不同区域的雨水利用现状进行综合评价,为"海绵城市"的建设提供科学依据,结合现有方法的不足之处,提出基于层次分析法的变权PROMETHEE模型。该模型通过确立雨水利用的6个评价指标,采用层次分析法确定初始权重,再对初始权重变权分析,建立PROMETHEE评价模型。运用该模型对云南省4个不同区域的雨水资源利用现状进行了综合评价,得到了优劣排序,结果显示,区域2的雨水利用现状最优,区域3和区域1次之,区域4最差。同时将提出的模型的评价结果与现有的两种方法进行比较,体现了该模型的合理性和优越性。此外也给出了4个不同区域给出相应的改善建议,对区域后续的雨水资源利用的改进具有指导意义。  相似文献

Designers of light-frame wood wall assemblies should consider several performance criteria simultaneously in addition to minimum requirements set by building codes. Evaluation of various performance characteristics can help select the most suitable configuration for a given project in a given context. In a previous article, we identified appropriate criteria and explored their means of evaluation. Following up, this article integrates the context and the preference of the decision-maker and seeks to obtain a ranking of the various alternatives using quantitative and qualitative information. Four multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) techniques are explored: weighted sum, MACBETH, ELECTRE II, and PROMETHEE. The approach is applied to a case study where five wall assemblies are compared within six different decision contexts. It shows how the choice of the appropriate aggregation method depends on the nature of the performance evaluation scales and demonstrates the usefulness of MCDA to consider simultaneously different aspects of wall performance.  相似文献

偏好顺序结构评估法(PROMETHEE)能够改进传统层次分析法(AHP)的完全补偿性问题,即某项准则下的高评价值可弥补其他准则下的低评价值,为此,提出了基于AHP/PROMETHEE的配电网规划方案的综合决策.通过层次分析法对方案进行结构化分析,确定每个评价指标的权重,再通过偏好顺序结构评估法对候选方案进行排序,得到最终决策.该方法通过计算三种流量,能较真实客观地反映配电网规划方案.通过实例验证,证明了该方法的有效性与可行性.  相似文献

A multicriteria decision‐making methodology for the sustainability prioritization of industrial systems is proposed. The methodology incorporates a fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process method that allows the users to assess the soft criteria using linguistic terms. A fuzzy Analytic Network Process method is used to calculate the weights of each criterion, which can tackle the interdependencies and interactions among the criteria. The Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation approach is used to prioritize the sustainability sequence of the alternative systems. Moreover, a sensitivity analysis method was developed to investigate the most critical and sensitive criteria. The developed methodology was illustrated by a case study to rank the sustainability of five alternative hydrogen production technologies. Three methods have previously been presented in Computer and Industrial Engineering for the selection of a statistical distribution to describe a data-set: the weighted sum model, the weighted multiplication model and data envelopment analysis. These are based on distinctive preset of parameters and result in three different rankings. In these approaches there is no interaction with the decision-maker (DM). This leads to the question: which method should a DM choose? In this paper, we adopt another approach where the DM is the central actor. Based on the multi-criteria decision aid methods, PROMETHEE and GAIA, we will show that different preference parameters (given by the DM) lead to different rankings. Finally, a group decision can be reached using its extension: PROMETHEE GDSS.  相似文献

This paper presents a multicriteria approach to exploring the properties of timeout collaboration protocol with different timeout thresholds in general testing environments. This is formulated as a discrete multiple criteria optimisation problem by choosing five representative timeout thresholds as alternatives with five common performance measures of production systems. The PROMETHEE method is adopted to deal with this multicriteria problem. The divide-and-label algorithm is developed to rank all the alternatives with the overall intensity of their performance, by using multiple valued outranking graphs from the PROMETHEE with multiple replications. It is shown that two extreme timeout thresholds, T 0 = 0 and ∞, are efficient over multiple criteria in almost all cases. The divide-and-label algorithm is a very efficient approach to overcome the limitations of the PROMETHEE algorithm and Belz and Mertens's procedure with multiple criteria and replications.  相似文献

Multi-attribute equipment selection is a very important issue for an effective manufacturing system, since the improper equipment selection might cause many problems affecting productivity, precision, flexibility and quality of the products negatively. On the other hand, selecting the best equipment among many alternatives is a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem. In this study, an integrated approach which employs analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and preference ranking organization method for enrichment evaluations (PROMETHEE) together, is proposed for the equipment selection problem. The AHP is used to analyze the structure of the equipment selection problem and to determine weights of the criteria, and PROMETHEE method is used to obtain final ranking, and to make a sensitivity analysis by changing the weights. Proposed approach is applied to a problem of selecting milling machines to be purchased in an international company. Company management found the application and results satisfactory and implementable in their equipment selection decisions.  相似文献

Outranking relation theory has been widely used to study pattern classification. Here we propose a classification method with concepts from the flows used in PROMETHEE methods, which are extensively applied in multi-criteria decision aids. PROMETHEE uses a flow, generated on the basis of a preference index and measured by various preference functions for each criterion, to represent the preference intensity for one pattern over another pattern. However, only criteria that are concordant with the preference contribute to a preference index. In the present study, the opinions from discordant criteria are also taken into account. The proposed method newly defines an overall preference index using both concordance and discordance relations for ordinal sorting problems. The final classification decision for a new pattern depends on its net flow. The criteria weights are determined using a genetic-algorithm-based approach. Empirical results obtained for a real-world problem regarding bankruptcy prediction demonstrate that the proposed method performs well compared to other well-known classification methods.  相似文献
