The present paper deals with the theoretical investigation of the influence of dimple geometry on fully textured hybrid thrust pad bearing and operating with non-Newtonian lubricant. The modified Reynolds equation which governs the flow of non-Newtonian lubricant in the clearance space has been solved using Finite Element Method. The simulated results indicate that the values of load carrying capacity, frictional power loss, maximum pressure and fluid film stiffness coefficient are significantly affected by the behavior of lubricant. The results presented in the study are expected to aid in determining the optimum value of dimple diameter and depth for the optimum bearing performance. 相似文献

以6-RSS型并联机构为研究对象,建立解析形式的反向运动学方程,给出考虑驱动副转角范围、球副转角范围、连杆干涉等约束条件时的反解选取准则,推导出每种约束表达与机构参数间关系,特别是复合球副独特的附加约束表达.基于带约束条件的反向运动学方程,利用三维边界搜索法,绘制并联机构多个定姿态工作空间的截面图和三维实体图.最后以工作空间体积为优化目标,获得结构参数和约束条件对工作空间体积的影响关系曲线,为定量分析影响效果提供解决途径,最终利用全局搜索法得到6-RSS机构的一组最优机构参数,在机构整体尺寸基本不变情况下使工作空间增大60%,达到优化机构参数的目的. 相似文献

This paper presents two hybrid genetic algorithms (HGAs) to optimize the component placement operation for the collect-and-place
machines in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly. The component placement problem is to optimize (i) the assignment of components
to a movable revolver head or assembly tour, (ii) the sequence of component placements on a stationary PCB in each tour, and
(iii) the arrangement of component types to stationary feeders simultaneously. The objective of the problem is to minimize
the total traveling time spent by the revolver head for assembling all components on the PCB. The major difference between
the HGAs is that the initial solutions are generated randomly in HGA1. The Clarke and Wright saving method, the nearest neighbor
heuristic, and the neighborhood frequency heuristic are incorporated into HGA2 for the initialization procedure. A computational
study is carried out to compare the algorithms with different population sizes. It is proved that the performance of HGA2

Accurate prediction of daily solar insolation has been one of the most important issues of solar engineering. The amount of solar insolation on a given location is a vital data for photovoltaic plants. Systems efficiency is easily affected by the changes in solar radiation so, this study is aimed to develop a Least Squares Support Vector Machine (LS-SVM) based intelligent model to predict the next day’s solar insolation for taking measures. Daily temperature and insolation data measured by Turkish State Meteorological Service for three years (2000–2002) were used as training data and the values of 2003 used as testing data. Numbers of the days from 1st January, daily mean temperature, daily maximum temperature, sunshine duration and the solar insolation of the day before parameters have been used as inputs to predict the daily solar insolation. The simulations were carried out with SVM Toolbox of MATLAB software. As a conclusion the results show that LS-SVM is a good method in estimating the amount of solar insolation of a given location with 99.294% accuracy. 相似文献

A novel 4-UPS-UPU spatial 5-Degree of freedom parallel coordinate measuring machine (PCMM) is presented. The workspace of the measuring machine is analyzed by using polar coordinate searching method. The force balance equation and statics transfer matrix of the measuring machine are established. The statics analysis of the 4-UPS-UPU PCMM is realized by taking the PCMM with load and no-load as example, and the numerical verification and virtual simulation verification of the results of driving force are carried out. Side milling is a process that enables machining time and thus costs, to be reduced. This type of machining is particularly well suited to ruled surfaces and all surfaces where one of the principal curvatures is very small compared to the tool radius and changes little over the entire surface. These surfaces must be treated with great care, as they are often on parts with high added value such as turbine blades, aircraft wings or helicoidal parts as used in fluid dynamics.We then need to calculate and minimise interference that may arise if the ruled surface cannot be developed. Whereas machining is usually carried out by setting the tool according to a rule, we suggest a new setting of the tool allowing interference to be reduced considerably. The computation algorithms for this setting were developed so as to be used in real-time by CAD/CAM software.A comparative study of errors made with each type of setting is also presented. This shows a considerable reduction in errors when the setting we suggest is implemented. 相似文献
