Nowadays, the cooperative intelligent transport systems are part of a largest system. Transportations are modal operations integrated in logistics and, logistics is the main process of the supply chain management. The supply chain strategic management as a simultaneous local and global value chain is a collaborative/cooperative organization of stakeholders, many times in co-opetition, to perform a service to the customers respecting the time, place, price and quality levels. The transportation, like other logistics operations must add value, which is achieved in this case through compression lead times and order fulfillments. The complex supplier's network and the distribution channels must be efficient and the integral visibility (monitoring and tracing) of supply chain is a significant source of competitive advantage. Nowadays, the competition is not discussed between companies but among supply chains. This paper aims to evidence the current and emerging manufacturing and logistics system challenges as a new field of opportunities for the automation and control systems research community. Furthermore, the paper forecasts the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies integrated into an information and communication technologies (ICT) framework based on distributed artificial intelligence (DAI) supported by a multi-agent system (MAS), as the most value advantage of supply chain management (SCM) in a cooperative intelligent logistics systems. We present a novel approach for extreme simplification of point set models, in the context of real-time rendering. Point sets
are often rendered using simple point primitives, such as oriented discs. However, this requires using many primitives to
render even moderately simple shapes. Often, one wishes to render a simplified model using only a few primitives, thus trading
accuracy for simplicity. For this goal, we propose a more complex primitive, called a splat, that is able to approximate larger and more complex surface areas than oriented discs. We construct our primitive by decomposing
the model into quasi-flat regions, using an efficient algebraic multigrid algorithm. Next, we encode these regions into splats
implemented as planar support polygons textured with color and transparency information and render the splats using a special
blending algorithm. Our approach combines the advantages of mesh-less point-based techniques with traditional polygon-based

This paper presents a quantitative framework for early prediction of resource usage and load in distributed real-time systems
(DRTS). The prediction is based on an analysis of UML 2.0 sequence diagrams, augmented with timing information, to extract
timed-control flow information. It is aimed at improving the early predictability of a DRTS by offering a systematic approach
to predict, at the design phase, system behavior in each time instant during its execution. Since behavioral models such as
sequence diagrams are available in early design phases of the software life cycle, the framework enables resource analysis
at a stage when design decisions are still easy to change. Though we provide a general framework, we use network traffic as
an example resource type to illustrate how the approach is applied. We also indicate how usage and load analysis of other
types of resources (e.g., CPU and memory) can be performed in a similar fashion. A case study illustrates the feasibility
of the approach.

在分布式实时传感器网络应用中,主要目标之一是保证协作交互的数据流融合任务花费较少的能源代价,能够正确、实时、原子地外化监测区域信息.因此,本文重点研究了分布式传感器网络环境下对多数据流交互处理过程的事务控制机制.首先,定义了传感器网络数据融合过程的协作执行模型.其次,用运控制区域的概念,提出了一种基于系统时间戳的自适应的数据融合交互处理的事务模型及其ACID规则.最后,设计了一种适宜实时环境的数据融合事务的两阶段提交、回滚协议.测试结果分析表明,它能够显著提高采集数据进行事务处理的外化速率,降低了事务的失败率及网络能耗,特别适用于处理间歇、高速的传感器网络外部采集数据. 相似文献

海浪建模与绘制是近二十年来计算机图形学领域的一个经典问题,同时,随着硬件的发展,尤其是图形处理器(GPU)以大大超过摩尔定律的速度高速发展和其高速计算能力、并行性、其可编程功能,使得基于GPU的通用计算成为一个新研究热点.利用GPU的高速计算能力和可编程功能,解决海浪模拟中的复杂计算问题,提出一种基于图形硬件的大规模海浪实时绘制方法.首先,对图形处理器进行了概述.然后,基于Gerstner-Rankine模型生成海洋高度场,采用屏幕细分自适应算法对数字地球上的可视海洋表面进行采样,利用图形处理单元的可编程特性进行顶点和颜色计算,模拟实时球面海浪效果.实验结果表明,基于GPU的方法可以在普通PC图形硬件上实现大规模海浪的交互漫游. 相似文献
