本文通过电炉冶炼的42CrMo钢冶炼过程的不同阶段钢样、渣样及耐火材料的系统分析,对该钢中夹杂物的性质和来源进行了研究。实验片果表明:42CrMo钢中夹杂物的生成与渣和耐火材料有密切的关系;出钢过程中钢渣混出能去除硫化物夹杂,但会使钢渣卷入钢液生成大尺寸夹杂物;浇注过程中使用的耐火材料会被钢水浸蚀进入钢液,它是42CrMo纲中外来夹杂物的一个重要来源。  相似文献

In this work the influence of the production route and filter dimensions on the mechanical properties of carbon-bonded alumina foam filters was investigated. Features like cold crushing strength and fracture behavior were analyzed and used to compare them. Microfocus computer tomography (μCT) was applied to characterize the geometry of the filters, providing a deep correlation with their fracture behavior. Furthermore, computer-generated filter geometries were used as reference. The results indicated that the centrifugation process is better suited for the production of carbon-bonded alumina filters, and is even more effective when the foam dimensions are increased in the range of those analyzed in this research. Finite element simulations showed the influence of the relative density and strut tapering on the cold crushing strength of filters, providing a correlation between filter structure and its failure mechanism. The attained results provided further insights towards the production of inclusions-free metal parts.  相似文献

Within the scope of the present study the cold-bonding process was used for the recycling of waste filter powder which was mixed with two different binders in different concentrations; alumino-silicate cement and potassium water glass, and combinations of these two materials, and hardened at room temperature. Selected samples were also fired at 1200 °C. Tests to determine tensile and compressive strength, density and porosity, as well as dilatometry and SEM analyses, were performed. As expected, compressive strength increased as a function of the concentration of the potassium water glass. When combinations of both binders were used, compressive strengths were higher, but a significant increase in strength was also achieved by firing the samples. The compressive strengths of the non-fired samples were in the range from 0.8 to 2.4 MPa, whereas after firing strengths of up to 36 MPa were obtained. During the firing density increased, and porosity was reduced, while the average pore size increased. The results of dilatometric analysis showed that the granulate produced with cement shrink upon firing up to 300 °C, but then start slowly to expand, whereas the granulate produced by water glass first expanded on firing up to 800 °C, and then began to shrink swiftly. In the case of combinations of the two binders, shrinkage as well as expansion on firing was less pronounced. Selected granulate prepared using potassium water glass were also tested in a refractory concrete matrix in order to verify their usability.  相似文献

Deformation, damage and wear characteristics of spark plasma sintered VC, NbC and ZrC refractory carbides have been investigated using nanoindentation, tribology and micro/macro − indentation tests. Fractography, using SEM, AFM and confocal microscopy, was used for the characterization of deformation and damage mechanisms. Considerable indentation load − size effect was found in all systems with hardness values from 30 to 36 GPa to 13–17 GPa corresponding to the applied loads of 1 mN and 100 N, respectively. During nanoindentation, characteristic stress-drops were observed on hardness-displacement profiles of NbC and ZrC at depth region of 15–30 nm while this was not typical in VC. The highest coefficient of friction was measured for NbC with a value of 0.45 and the lowest for ZrC with an average value of 0.3. The wear rate of the NbC, and VC was similar, approximately 3 × 10−6 mm3/Nm only the wear rate of ZrC was larger, approximately 2 × 10−5 mm3/Nm.  相似文献

This work revisits the proposed mechanisms presented in the literature for CA6 formation in Al2O3-MgO and Al2O3-MgAl2O4 castables bonded with calcium aluminate cement. New experimental tests, thermodynamic simulations and re-evaluation of the chemical composition and microstructural aspects observed for samples fired in the temperature range of 1150 °C to 1500 °C were carried out. Based on these data, a new interpretation of the CA6 generation process, as well as the features which influence the location and morphology of this phase were proposed. CA6 formation via solid and liquid states are suggested to take place in all evaluated compositions, where the former (solid-state) is the main reaction predicted for the silica-free refractories (AM0MS and AS0MS), whereas the liquid-state one prevails in the AM1MS and AS1MS materials. The CA6 crystal morphology should be affected by these different reaction mechanisms. According to the experimental results, it was also discussed the role of the calcium hexaluminate features in the overall corrosion behavior of the designed refractories when they were placed in contact with molten slag at high temperatures. Such aspects have not been previously reported in published papers related to this subject.  相似文献
