Abstract processes of place/transition systems

A well-known problem in Petri net theory is to formalise an appropriate causality-based concept of process or run for place/transition systems. The so-called individual token interpretation, where tokens are distinguished according to their causal history, giving rise to the processes of Goltz and Reisig, is often considered too detailed. The problem of defining a fully satisfying more abstract concept of process for general place/transition systems has so-far not been solved. In this paper, we recall the proposal of defining an abstract notion of process, here called BD-process, in terms of equivalence classes of Goltz-Reisig processes, using an equivalence proposed by Best and Devillers. It yields a fully satisfying solution for at least all one-safe nets. However, for certain nets which intuitively have different conflicting behaviours, it yields only one maximal abstract process. Here we identify a class of place/transition systems, called structural conflict nets, where conflict and concurrency due to token multiplicity are clearly separated. We show that, in the case of structural conflict nets, the equivalence proposed by Best and Devillers yields a unique maximal abstract process only for conflict-free nets. Thereby BD-processes constitute a simple and fully satisfying solution in the class of structural conflict nets.

冗余控制系统在炼铁厂TRT发电装置中的应用

鉴于TRT高炉煤气发电装置的重要性且对其可靠性的要求较高,因而该发电装置的控制系统选用了西门子S7—400H冗余系统。文中简述了TRT高炉煤气发电装置的构成,介绍了S7—400H冗余系统的硬件结构、模块参数和各程序模块的具体功能。该控制系统投运后,TRT高炉煤气发电装置运行可靠,效果良好。     

Morphometric and some immunohistochemical characteristics of human choroids plexus stroma and psammoma bodies

Psammoma bodies (PBs) are one of many choroids plexus aging changes. The aim of our research was to perform the quantification of PBs' presence in human choroids plexus stroma, as well as to evaluate the characteristics of choroids plexus stroma in cases in which PBs were present. Afterwards, the observations of the histochemical analysis would be confirmed by immunohistochemical analysis. Choroid plexuses of 30 cadavers were used for the histochemical and, choroids plexuses of 15 cadavers in which PBs' presence was confirmed during the histochemical analysis, were used as material for the immunohistochemical analysis. Light microscopy, histochemical, immunohistochemical, and morphometric method were applied during the study. Classification of the cases was performed by cluster analysis. We observed increase of choroids plexus PBs' presence during the aging process. But this increase is not linear. Their presence is the largest in the second cluster that is younger than the third and older than the first. Nuclear morphometric parameters of the stroma in these cases showed that the cellular composition in this cluster is different than in other two and, that contain larger number of lymphoid cells. Immunohistochemical analysis showed PBs' positive reaction on vimentin, CD45R0, and LCA markers, while in their vicinity, as well as inside them, numerous T-cells were observed. So, the presence of CD45R0 and LCA-positive T cells, PBs' positive reaction on the same markers, indirectly connect these cells with PBs' formation process.     

Fast Summation of Radial Functions on the Sphere

Radial functions are a powerful tool in many areas of multi-dimensional approximation, especially when dealing with scattered data. We present a fast approximate algorithm for the evaluation of linear combinations of radial functions on the sphere . The approach is based on a particular rank approximation of the corresponding Gram matrix and fast algorithms for spherical Fourier transforms. The proposed method takes (L) arithmetic operations for L arbitrarily distributed nodes on the sphere. In contrast to other methods, we do not require the nodes to be sorted or pre-processed in any way, thus the pre-computation effort only depends on the particular radial function and the desired accuracy. We establish explicit error bounds for a range of radial functions and provide numerical examples covering approximation quality, speed measurements, and a comparison of our particular matrix approximation with a truncated singular value decomposition.     

Use of Graduate Study in Psychology as a data source.

Comments on an article by C. M. Stoup and L. T. Benjamin, Jr. (see record 1983-24200-001), in which they used various editions of Graduate Study in Psychology, published by the American Psychological Association (APA), to report the GPAs and Graduate Record Examination scores of master's and doctoral students across various areas of psychology. It is cautioned that the use of Graduate Study in Psychology as a data source calls for skepticism, as there is sufficient reason to question some of the data that are submitted to the APA by psychology departments. 蒸发结晶是化工生产中常见的单元操作，在其加热过程中，较高的传热温差对于强化传热效率、提高设备能力极为有利。但是，传热温差过高会引起蒸发结晶操作的不稳定，甚至造成生产装置停车，使所追求的高效率适得其反。因此，必须合理选择传热温差，以保证生产装置在高效、稳定的状况下运行。

研究了以三甲胺作亲核催化剂、季铵盐A作相转移催化剂、水和极性有机溶剂B作双溶剂、亲核—相转移复合催化法合成对硫磷的方法,收率可达99％。     

Simultaneous recrystallization, phosphorous diffusion and antireflection coating of silicon films using laser treatment

Laser technique application to polycrystalline silicon thin-film solar cell fabrication on glass substrates has received appreciable attention. In this paper, a laser-doping technique is developed for plasma-deposited amorphous silicon film. A process involving recrystallization, phosphorous diffusion and antireflection coating can be achieved simultaneously using the laser annealing process. The doping precursor, a phosphorous-doped titanium dioxide (TiO₂) solution, is synthesized using a sol-gel method and spin-coated onto the sample. After laser irradiation, the polycrystalline silicon grain size was about 0.5∼1.0 μm with a carrier concentration of 2 × 10¹⁹ cm^− 3 and electron mobility of 92.6 cm²/V s. The average polycrystalline silicon reflectance can be reduced to a value of 4.65% at wavelengths between 400 and 700 nm, indicating the upper TiO₂ film of antireflection coating.
