Microgrids provide promising solution for integration of renewable energy sources in the electrical grid. To exploit the key benefits, achieving the economical operation of renewable aided microgrids has become necessary and is a challenging task. This paper presents an efficient optimization model to minimize the operational cost of a solar integrated microgrid. We formulate a joint optimization mixed integer problem for appropriate modeling of the system under various practical constraints. An efficient solution is obtained with a distributed approach such that the original problem is solved in two stages. Dual decomposition approach is adopted for cost, emissions, and solar share optimization. Lagrange relaxation, Lambda iteration method, and binary integer programming are employed to obtain the joint optimization solution. Finally, the performance of the proposed model is validated through simulations that show that an overall cost reduction of 4.2070e+04 $ and emission reduction of 7.2001e+03 kg are achieved with the proposed model. 相似文献

Nonlinear optical materials are essential in areas such as nanophotonics, optical information processing, and biomedical imaging. However, nanomaterials employed for these diverse applications to date are efficient only for one type of nonlinear optical activity. Herein, the first multimodal nonlinear optically active class of nanomaterials based on lanthanide-doped lithium niobate nanoparticles, which simultaneously exhibit unprecedentedly efficient second and third harmonic generation, as well as up-conversion photoluminescence, is reported. These dielectric nanoparticles retain their high nonlinear optical conversion efficiency both as powder and as aqueous colloidal solution. The high stability also allows for the fabrication of optically active biocompatible micron-sized fibers and polymer-based 3D-printable objects, as well as for fingerprint detection. Finally, the first 8-bit coding platform purely based on multimodal nonlinear optical activity originating from different parametric and nonparametric processes is demonstrated, showcasing the technological potential of these materials for both anti-counterfeiting and advanced optical information processing. 相似文献

Unit commitment (UC) is an optimization problem used to determine the operation schedule of the generating units at every hour interval with varying loads under different constraints and environments. Many algorithms have been invented in the past five decades for optimization of the UC problem, but still researchers are working in this field to find new hybrid algorithms to make the problem more realistic. The importance of UC is increasing with the constantly varying demands. Therefore, there is an urgent need in the power sector to keep track of the latest methodologies to further optimize the working criterions of the generating units. This paper focuses on providing a clear review of the latest techniques employed in optimizing UC problems for both stochastic and deterministic loads, which has been acquired from many peer reviewed published papers. It has been divided into many sections which include various constraints based on profit, security, emission and time. It emphasizes not only on deregulated and regulated environments but also on renewable energy and distributed generating systems.
