通过离子交换将Ce ̄(3+)引入到氢型Beta分子筛中制备了CeH-Beta催化剂,研究了低温吸附甲烷的红外光谱(FT-IR).结果显示吸附在CeH-Beta上甲烷的红外光谱吸收峰分别位于3016,3006,3002,2989,2900,2888,1306,1303,1300和1297cm ̄(-1),远多于在纯CeO_2上的峰数.经氢气还原处理的催化剂对甲烷分子的活化能力强于经氧气处理的催化剂.讨论了甲烷与铈的氧物种和甲烷与骨架羟基的两种相互作用,提出了CH_4分子吸附活化的两种模式.  相似文献

Scientists from research institutions in the United States of America and Japan attended a USA Department of Energy sponsored joint international workshop on the subject of Compact Toroids (CT) in Santa Fe, NM, USA in September 2004. We outline here a summary of the topics that were discussed, some of the implications, and new directions that are likely to follow from this research. Experimental, theoretical and computational results were presented. The experimental devices and concepts, along with the theory and computational models comprise investigations of fundamental plasma physics, fusion science, and approaches to fusion energy that require magnetized plasmas.  相似文献

In this paper we present a common Bayesian approach to four randomized response models, including Warner's (1965) and other modification for it that appeared thereafter in the literature. Suitable truncated beta distributions are used throughout in a common conjugate prior structure to obtain the Bayes estimates for the proportion of a “sensitive” attribute in the population of interest. The results of this common conjugate prior approach are contrasted with those of Winkler and Franklin's (1979), in which non-conjugate priors have been used in the context of Warner's model. The results are illustrated numerically in several cases and exemplified further with data reported in Liu and Chow (1976) concerning incidents of induced abortions.  相似文献

Promoters, and their counterparts poisons, are two topics that have been studied extensively since heterogeneous catalysts have been used industrially. Commercial catalysts tend to involve multiple promoters to enhance the activity, selectivity, lifetime and structural integrity, in addition to guard beds or feedstock purification measures that are used to avoid the adsorption of poisons. Yet, at a fundamental level, there is still considerable debate as to how specific promoters function. Promoter effects tend to be specific to a particular catalyst formulation and generic effects are not common, yet this would be desirable. Generally, in acid catalysis and hydrogenation reactions, promoter effects can be dramatic and unexpected. However, in oxidation reactions of alkanes and alkenes, the promotion effects observed to date are somewhat limited. In this paper, the topic of promotion in heterogeneous catalysis is discussed. The complex interplay between structural and electronic effects of promoters is described using examples of both well defined metal surfaces (e.g., the promoted iron catalyst for ammonia synthesis) and multicrystalline metal, metal oxide and metal phosphate catalysts (e.g., Li-doped MgO for methane oxidation). Subsequently, a molecular approach for the promotion of heterogeneous catalysts is prepared and discussed. This is based on observations from well defined molecular catalysts for homogeneously catalysed processes of ligand accelerated reactions. Examples are described where the effects of ligand acceleration, increasing reaction rate by over two orders of magnitude, can be observed for heterogeneous catalysts for hydrogenation and acid catalysed reactions. The remaining challenge is to identify similar effects for partial oxidation reactions, and it is questioned whether a molecular approach can be developed to meet this challenge.  相似文献

Small hydrophobic ligands identifying intracellular protein deposits are of great interest, as protein inclusion bodies are the pathological hallmark of several degenerative diseases. Here we report that fluorescent amyloid ligands, termed luminescent conjugated oligothiophenes (LCOs), rapidly and with high sensitivity detect protein inclusion bodies in skeletal muscle tissue from patients with sporadic inclusion body myositis (s‐IBM). LCOs having a conjugated backbone of at least five thiophene units emitted strong fluorescence upon binding, and showed co‐localization with proteins reported to accumulate in s‐IBM protein inclusion bodies. Compared with conventional amyloid ligands, LCOs identified a larger fraction of immunopositive inclusion bodies. When the conjugated thiophene backbone was extended with terminal carboxyl groups, the LCO revealed striking spectral differences between distinct protein inclusion bodies. We conclude that 1) LCOs are sensitive, rapid and powerful tools for identifying protein inclusion bodies and 2) LCOs identify a wider range of protein inclusion bodies than conventional amyloid ligands.  相似文献

Sequential tolerance control (STC) is a tolerance control methodology used in discrete parts manufacturing. Recently, an adaptive sphere‐fitting method for STC (ASF–STC) was developed to account for potential skewness in manufacturing operations' distributions, a factor not considered in conventional STC. ASF–STC offers significant improvements over conventional STC when such skewness exists. The direction of skewness of an operations' distribution is a necessary input to ASF–STC. Thus, a novel approach to determining the skewness of a distribution for small sample sizes is presented here. ASF–STC has an additional requirement of distribution information for each operation. The beta distribution is an ideal candidate here, as it is very flexible in shape. The literature on four‐parameter beta estimation is very limited, and their performance for small sample sizes is poor. STC was designed for low‐volume production, thus the estimation for small sample sizes is necessary here. This study presents a heuristic, based on the method of moments estimates for a beta distribution, that estimates the four parameters for a beta distribution with small sample size. Several computational results are provided to compare this heuristic to the best‐known procedure, with the heuristic found to perform better for the test problems considered. The feasibility of synthesising pure zeolite beta in high yields using silica gel as the source of SiO2 is demonstrated. The phase-purity and yield of beta is enhanced by using silica gels with high surface area. The influence of various synthesis parameters (Si/Al ratio, alkalinity, dilution level, concentration of the organic base, etc.) on the kinetics of synthesis as well as the quality and yield of the zeolite have been investigated. A correlation between XRD crystallinity of the samples with varying degrees of crystallinity and that estimated from framework IR spectroscopy, differential thermal analysis and adsorption of n-hexane is demonstrated. The dependence of the yield of zeolite beta on SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of the gel is also reported. The results of the present study indicate the feasibility of a cheaper route for the manufacture of zeolite beta.  相似文献

本实验用LACA成年雄鼠分别接受0. 19,0. 38,0.66和1. 01Gy的氚水β射线和0. 743,1.592和2.074Gy的~(60)Coγ射线分别连续照射10天。诱发精细胞显性致死突变率分别为8.6%—14.9%和4.4%—30.3%。两种射线的剂量响应关系为线性,根据二条直线斜率之比求出氚的RBE值为2.1。  相似文献
