Consumers are susceptible to reference price effects when they make purchase decisions for a certain product. Meanwhile, the sales price and advertisement are the determinable factors that have impact on consumers’ reference price which are also fundamental marketing strategies. Therefore, how to determine an appropriate sales price and advertising effort level to maximise firms’ profits is an essential task. A joint pricing and advertising problem for a monopolistic firm with consideration of reference price effect is investigated, where consumer demand rate is price-sensitivity and depends on the gap between the sales price and the reference price in consumers’ mind. An optimisation model is established to maximise the firm’s total profit by making a joint pricing and advertising strategy. The static and dynamic joint strategies are obtained by applying Pontryagin’s maximum principle. Results show that the dynamic strategies dominate the static ones. Furthermore, the dynamic pricing and dynamic advertising strategies are strategic complements. Additionally, the length of the sales period plays a key role in determining the superiority of the two dynamic strategies. Specifically, a relatively short sales period highlights the value of the dynamic advertising while a long sales period strengthens the function of the dynamic pricing.  相似文献

In this paper, a new approach for the numerical solution of coupled electromechanical problems is presented. The structure of the considered problem consists of the low‐frequency integral formulation of the Maxwell equations coupled with Newton–Euler rigid‐body dynamic equations. Two different integration schemes based on the predictor–corrector approach are presented and discussed. In the first method, the electrical equation is integrated with an implicit single‐step time marching algorithm, while the mechanical dynamics is studied by a predictor–corrector scheme. The predictor uses the forward Euler method, while the corrector is based on the trapezoidal rule. The second method is based on the use of two interleaved predictor–corrector schemes: one for the electrical equations and the other for the mechanical ones. Both the presented methods have been validated by comparison with experimental data (when available) and with results obtained by other numerical formulations; in problems characterized by low speeds, both schemes produce accurate results, with similar computation times. When high speeds are involved, the first scheme needs shorter time steps (i.e., longer computation times) in order to achieve the same accuracy of the second one. A brief discussion on extending the algorithm for simulating deformable bodies is also presented. An example of application to a two‐degree‐of‐freedom levitating device based on permanent magnets is finally reported. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The effective response of microstructures undergoing crack propagation is studied by homogenizing the response of statistical volume elements (SVEs). Because conventional boundary conditions (Dirichlet, Neumann and strong periodic) all are inaccurate when cracks intersect the SVE boundary, we herein use first order homogenization to compare the performance of these boundary conditions during the initial stage of crack propagation in the microstructure, prior to macroscopic localization. Using weakly periodic boundary conditions that lead to a mixed formulation with displacements and boundary tractions as unknowns, we can adapt the traction approximation to the problem at hand to obtain better convergence with increasing SVE size. In particular, we show that a piecewise constant traction approximation, which has previously been shown to be efficient for stationary cracks, is more efficient than the conventional boundary conditions in terms of convergence also when crack propagation occurs on the microscale. The performance of the method is demonstrated by examples involving grain boundary crack propagation modelled by conventional cohesive interface elements as well as crack propagation modelled by means of the extended finite element method in combination with the concept of material forces. © 2016 The Authors. 针对传统风幕控尘装置设备多、空间小、掘进机移动不便等诸多不足之处,⌒进行了优化设计。为确保新型风幕控尘装置的实际应用效果,指导现场防尘系统设计,确定抽出式风机风筒安设位置,依(山西某矿掘进巷道工作面1:1建立了物理几何模型,并利用计算流体动力学(CFD)进行模拟。根(湍流模型特性及流体运动特点,选取拉格朗日法离散相模型对掘进巷道粉尘浓度分布进行了模拟分析并进行现场实践。结果显示,所选物理几何模型参数设置合理,拟合精度达到预测要求;加装新型风幕控尘装置前后,粉尘浓度下降对比明显;距底板2.1 m处安设抽出式风机风筒时,系统降尘效果显著。  相似文献

Origami-based metamaterials have widespread application prospects in various industries including aerospace, automotive, flexible electronics, and civil engineering structures. Among the wide range of origami patterns, the fourfold tessellation known as Miura-ori is of particular attraction to engineers and designers. More specifically, researchers have proposed different 3D structures and metamaterials based on the geometric characteristics of this classic origami pattern. Herein, a computational modeling approach for the design and evaluation of 3D cellular solids with the Miura-ori metamaterial geometry which can be of zero or nonzero thicknesses is presented. To this end, first, a range of design alternatives generated based on a numerical parametric model is designed. Next, their mechanical properties and failure behavior under quasistatic axial compressive loads along three perpendicular directions are analyzed. Then, the effects of various geometric parameters on their energy absorption behavior under compression in the most appropriate direction are investigated. The findings of this study provide a basis for future experimental investigations and the potential application of such cellular solids for energy-absorbing purposes.  相似文献

We consider the problem of prioritizing a collection of discrete pieces of information, or transactions. The goal is to rank the transactions in such a way that the user can best pursue a subset of the transactions in hopes of discovering those which were generated by an interesting source. The problem is shown to differ from traditional classification in several fundamental ways. Ranking algorithms are divided into classes, depending on the amount of information they may utilize. We demonstrate that while ranking by the least constrained algorithm class is consistent with classification, such is not the case for a more constrained class of algorithms. We demonstrate also that while optimal ranking by the former class is easy, optimal ranking by the latter class is NP-hard. Finally, we present detectors which solve optimally restricted versions of the ranking problem, including symmetric anomaly detection.  相似文献

计算思维和英语思维是计算机专业学生专业化和国际化应具备的必要素质,然而目前还缺乏一套切实可行、行之有效的素质教育操作办法和模式。文章从计算思维和元认知策略的理论出发,探索编译原理的全英文授课模式,提出普通高校学生在计算机专业课中开展全英文授课的教学思想和教学方法,并指出运用元知识策略提高非英文专业学生的学习兴趣,使其形成强烈的学习动机、培养学生的自主学习能力。文章还讨论了词汇策略和英语思维,例举一些实践案例,最后提出一些尚待研究的问题。  相似文献
