The test and diagnosis of fully differential analogue filters are addressed in this paper. Full coverage of hard/soft faults affecting circuit behaviour can be achieved by adjusting the tolerance window of the built-in self-test circuitry and the amplitude and frequency of the input test signal. Under a single fault assumption, the faulty active or passive component is located and the actual defective value of a faulty passive component is determined. A test generation procedure which results in maximum fault coverage and maximal diagnosis of hard/soft faults in the filter is presented. The test and diagnosis approach can be made compatible with IEEE Std 1149.1 for boundary scan testing.This work is part of AMATIST ESPRIT-III Basic Research Project, funded by CEC under contract #8820. 相似文献

尽管汉语数码语音识别只涉及十个数字,但由于不同数字的发音存在相同或相似的声母或韵母,造成汉语数码语音之间的混淆性很大.采用通常的隐含马尔科夫模型(HMM)作为汉语数码语音识别模型难以得到很高的识别率.为了解决汉语数码之间的混淆问题,提高汉语数码语音识别性能,本文在隐含马尔科夫模型的状态层次上采用线性区分分析方法,将不同状态之间容易混淆的特征样本构成混淆模式类,针对混淆模式类进行线性区分分析.通过线性区分变换,在变换特征空间中仅保留那些能够有效区分该混淆类别的特征参数.这种基于状态的线性区分分析有效地提高了模型对混淆数码的区分能力.实验表明即使采用状态数很少的粗糙识别模型,也能很大幅度提高模型的识别性能;经过线性区分变换优化后的汉语数码识别模型,孤立汉语数码语音识别率可以达到99.32%. 相似文献

This work describes a technique for testing RF mixers with digital adaptive filters. RF circuits are widely used on data transmission applications, such as wireless communication, radio and portable phone systems. However, traditional analog testing covers mainly linear circuits, being not suitable to non-linear pieces of hardware like analog mixers. Herein, an adaptive non-linear filter is trained so that it can mimic the behavior of a RF mixer. Then, a test stimulus is simultaneously applied to the filter and the mixer and the outputs of both circuits are compared to check whether the circuit under test is faulty or fault free. A prototype of a mixer was built in order to allow fault injection in the circuit under test. Thus, the detection capability of the proposed technique could be checked in a real life circuit. The preliminary results point to a very promising test technique. The test is very precise, low cost and allows a complete fault coverage with a very small testing time. 相似文献

Novel differential current conveyor building blocks are defined. CMOS realizations of these blocks are then given. One of the proposed conveyor circuits is seen to be insensitive to the threshold voltage variation due to the body effect. The properties of the differential current conveyors are shown to be suitable for VLSI applications employing MOS transistors operating in the ohmic region. This is demonstrated by realizing four quadrant multiplier cells, current mode and mixed mode continuous time MOSFET-C filters based on the proposed blocks. The efficiency of concentration of poliovirus from Jerusalem tap water was investigated for several types of “electronegatively-charged” and “electropositively-charged” microporous filters. In addition, the efficiency of organic flocculation as a procedure for reconcentrating poliovirus from filter eluates was investigated. The Balston and Cox filters had similar recovery efficiencies from tap water, with recovery of approx. 90% of the input virus, both after filtration and after organic flocculation. Decreasing the concentration of beef extract in the eluent from 3 to 1% did not negatively influence virus recovery. However, recovery of low virus numbers from large volume samples by Cox filters was variable. Balston filters were used in a series of high volume experiments to test the efficacy of the tentative standard method for virus recovery using a proportioner pump with two additive pumps. The method was inefficient without a simple modification, the addition of a second mixing chamber, which increased the virus recovery to an acceptable level. The Zeta Plus electropositively-charged type of filter had a high efficiency of virus recovery in the eluate, but approximately half of the virus was lost during organic flocculation. This may indicate the need for modification of the organic flocculation method when used with filters. 相似文献

Efficient Gabor filter design for texture segmentation 总被引:19,自引:0,他引:19
Gabor filters have been successfully applied to a broad range of image processing tasks. The present paper considers the design of a single filter to segment a two-texture image. A new efficient algorithm for Gabor-filter design is presented, along with methods for estimating filter output statistics. The algorithm draws upon previous results that showed that the output of a Gabor-filtered texture is modeled well by a Rician distribution. A measure of the total output power is used to select the center frequency of the filter and is used to estimate the Rician statistics of the Gabor-filtered image. The method is further generalized to include the statistics of postfiltered outputs that are generated by a Gaussian filtering operation following the Gabor filter. The new method typically requires an order of magnitude less computation to design a filter than a previously proposed method. Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of the method. 相似文献
