Shear Bombs in Fibre Composites Despite an optimum external shape non‐load adapted internal fibre orientation can lead to the formation of shear cracks where crossing tension‐compression principal stress trajectories create localized shear peaks. Trees are subject to those failure because they cannot re‐arrange their fibres after wood formation. Bones can adjust their micro‐structure to changing load conditions and in this way can better control shear failure. The engineer working with fibre composites should be alert to avoid fibre arrangements not following the force flow. Localized shear zones may also form near notches similar to normal notch stresses, however they are not always situated at the contour line of the notch.     

Hemispheric contributions to nonverbal abstract reasoning and problem solving.

Hemispheric involvement in reasoning abilities has been debated for some time, and it remains unclear whether the right hemisphere's involvement in problem solving is modality specific or dependent on the type of spatial reasoning required. In the current study, 2 types of nonverbal reasoning abilities were examined, spatial reasoning and proportional reasoning, in 109 patients with cerebrovascular disease that was confined to either the right or the left hemisphere or was diffuse in nature. Results indicated that no lateralizing effects were present based on type of spatial reasoning. Findings are consistent with the suggestion that higher order cognitive processes involved in nonverbal abstraction and problem solving are not strongly lateralized to the right hemisphere but rather are more generally distributed throughout the cortex. 针对线材厂步进式加热炉实际工况，提出了基于经验规则的炉温优化设定模型和在线自学习获取知识的思想，并以炉温优化设定模型为核心，开发出加热炉计算机控制系统的优化运行软件。     

人工神经元网络测井解释软件系统

王大力，何清源．人工神经元网络测井解释软件系统．测井技术，１９９４，１８（４）：２５７～２６４在复杂岩性地层的测井解释中，常规的方法常把岩石的矿物成分设想得比较简单，评价地层岩性时需要大量的人工分析。本文提出运用人工神经元网络理论的测井解释软件系统。系统用自然伽玛能谱测井，结合实验室资料可准确确定粘土类型和求出粘土含量。选用了一种稳定性好、快速的优化算法，使用孔隙度测井资料求出孔隙度值，整个系统算法上力求快准、解释上力求尽可能减少人工干预，该软件系统经试用效果较好。     

几何设计约束的表示与满足问题研究

对于智能ＣＡＤ系统来说，具有解决几何设计约束的功能是重要的。本文提出了一种面向对象的几何设计约束表示方法，它可以通过两种方式来表达。文中给出了一个约束传播算法，用于解决约束满足问题。     

解线性及二次型规划问题增广的神经网络

本文提出了一个解线性及二次型规划问题的神经网络模型，证明了该网络是全局稳定于平衡点，而平衡点就是线性及二次型规划问题的解，该网络的优点是能够实时获得问题的精确解，且可以同时获得带等式不式约束的对偶问题解，该网络易于电路实现。
