Effects of Surface Concentration on Drying Behavior of Carbohydrate Solutions

As the surface properties of the drying materials are very important not only for the drying rate but also for the quality change during drying, the effects of surface concentration on the drying behavior of liquid foods (sugar solutions) were investigated by isothermal drying experiments and by numerical calculation experiments. The isothermal drying experiments with gelled sugar solution systems (sucrose and maltodextrin) were carried out at various relative humidity (RH) values (RH = 0 to 84%). Separate experiments were carried out for determination of the desorption isotherms.

The isothermal drying curves of sugar solutions at RH = 0 to 51% were very similar. Numerical simulations also showed that the drying curves of these sugars at the surface concentration = 0 and 0.1 are almost the same, although the concentration distributions are different.

When a small amount of gelatin was added to sugar solutions, the drying rate decreased remarkably as the gelatin might form a thin film (skin) near the surface, and consequently the retention of ethanol increased.

对中国的火灾统计数据与社会经济数据之间的关系进行了研究，发现中国火灾与社会经济因素的关系和国外相反:中国的火灾形势在经济越发达的地方越严重，并且随着经济的发展更趋严重。讨论了火灾与经济水平及教育水平的关系，提出了火灾和经济的更为全面的关系，即随着经济的发展，火灾形势是先严重后趋缓和。根据所讨论的结果对中国未来一段时期的火灾情况做出了一些预测。

Sprinklered office fire tests

This paper presents data relating to the performance of sprinklers and detectors in real office fire situations. For sprinklers, these data are additional to that associated with the standardized testing used to determine the design delivery density and pressure requirements for various occupancy situations, and provide a useful insight into the effect of sprinklers on developing fires with various office situations. The data given in this paper include the times for activation of various types of sprinkler heads (normal and fast response), the efficacy of the systems as far as extinguishment is concerned, estimates of the maximum size of the fires prior to commencement of extinguishment and associated air temperatures at various locations within the office enclosures. Synthesis of TiO<Subscript>2</Subscript> Hybrid Molecular Imprinted Polymer for Ethofumesate Linked by Silane Coupling Agent

TiO₂ hybrid molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) for ethofumesate using methacrylic acid (MAA) as the functional monomer and silane coupling agent 3-(trimethoxysilyl) propylmethacrylate (KH570) as organic–inorganic connective bridge was synthesized via photo-excitation method. Hydrogen bond was proved to act between MAA and ethofumesate for pre- and post-polymerization binding properties as testified by UV spectrometric method. KH570 modified TiO₂ nanoparticles were prepared via sonochemical reaction, which can accelerate hydrolysis, increase collision chance for the reactive system and improve the dispersion of the nanoparticles. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), binding and the adsorption kinetics experiments as well as thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were employed for characterization. The results indicated that the hybrid MIP revealed a larger surface area and more ordered imprinting cavities with improved thermal stability compared to organic-only MIP. Furthermore, faster adsorption kinetics and enhancive adsorption capacity were achieved, which made it promising in chemical sensor applications.

有机羧酸钠盐对PET结晶和熔融行为的影响

采用差示扫描量热仪研究了5种具有不同取代基的苯甲酸钠盐作为结晶成核剂对聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯（HET）结晶和熔融行为的影响，并同滑石粉进行了对比。结果表明，成核剂的加入能明显改变PET的结晶和熔融行为。苯甲酸钠、对苯二甲酸甲酯单羧酸钠和对羟基苯甲酸钠提高既汀的熔融结晶温度（Tc）分别达22．93、21．7和19．37℃，但使PET降解严重；对苯酚钠甲酸钠能够提高Tc达17．75℃且对PET相对分子质量影响很小；对苯二甲酸二钠成核作用最差。低于滑石粉。此外，成核剂的成核能力越强，PET双熔融峰中的低温峰顶温度就越高。

本文对“阴离子表面活性剂的测定方法”进行探讨,优化了显色剂、萃取剂的用量及萃取频率等分析条件,有效地降低了方法的检出浓度,提高了分析精度及准确度,节约大量试剂。本法最低检出浓度的0.019mL/L。     

An Agent Interaction Based Method for Nonlinear Process Plan Scheduling
