比较了多功能显示模拟器的三种实现方法,提出了采用周边键实物的总体设计方案,以达到最佳的模拟操作效果;采用了周边键编码电路设计,以减少连接电缆的信号数量;根据显示画面之间的调用关系,分析了画面转换矩阵的构建方法,实现了多功能显示模拟器的显示功能和控制功能.该模拟器可推广使用到其他机型仿真系统中,满足教学和仿真的需要。  相似文献

Abstract— A 3‐m‐long rugged flexible display having a novel single‐plastic‐substrate structure has been demonstrated with a coated cholesteric liquid‐crystal mixture. The display is designed to be fabricated by a roll‐to‐roll process to increase productivity at a competitive cost. It has the advantage of having almost no limitation in display length. The high‐resolution (300‐dpi) monochrome cholesteric liquid‐crystal display (ChLCD) can be achieved by using a photo‐addressing method. A single‐layered 10.4‐in. color ChLCD also has been developed with good color and contrast.  相似文献

Abstract— In this work, the effect of display temporal characteristics on detectability of signals was studied by comparing detection performance with a slow liquid‐crystal‐display (LCD) monitor and a fast, cathode‐ray‐tube (CRT) monitor when browsing multi‐slice image datasets in stack‐mode presentation. Thirteen readers evaluated 200 image sequence pairs in a two‐alternative forced choice experiment. The image sets consisted of three‐dimensional cluster lumpy backgrounds and were presented to the readers in two display devices: a three‐million‐pixel medical color LCD and a color desktop CRT. For the LCD, many inter‐gray‐level transitions are on the order of 50–60 msec, which was almost twice the frame time. The CRT had 2–5‐msec inter‐gray‐level transitions. The reader study was performed with a graphical‐user interface programmed using direct calls to OpenGL libraries to precisely control the browsing speed. The results were analyzed in terms of the difference in reader performance for each reader and each display, between a browsing speed of 20 and 50 frames per sec (fps). Average reader performance difference between 20 and 50 fps was measured to be 0.049 and 0.156 for the CRT and LCD monitors, respectively. The corresponding drop in reader performance associated with slow display was 0.11.  相似文献

Abstract— A full‐color eyewear display with over 85% see‐through transmittance with a 16° horizontal field of view was developed. Very low color crosstalk, less than 0.008 Δuv′ uniformity, and 120% NTSC color gamut were achieved. Waveguides with two in‐ and out‐coupling reflection volume hologram elements enabled a simple configuration that has an optical engine beside the user's temples. The reflection volume hologram elements used on the waveguides realized a small thickness of 1.4 mm for each waveguide, and an out‐coupling reflection volume hologram used as an optical combiner contributed a high see‐through transmittance of 85% due to its wavelength selectivity. However, there are technical challenges in achieving a reasonable screen size and quality color images with optics that utilize holographic waveguides because holograms have large chromatic dispersions compared to conventional optical elements such as lenses and mirrors. Approaches to overcome these issues are described.  相似文献

Abstract— The primary goal of this study was to find a measurement method for motion blur which is easy to carry out and gives results that can be reproduced from one lab to another. This method should be able to also take into account methods for reduction of motion blur such as backlight flashing. Two methods have been compared. The first method uses a high‐speed camera that permits us to directly picture the blurred‐edge profile. The second one exploits the mathematical analysis of the motion‐blur formation to construct the blurred‐edge profile from the temporal step response. Abstract— The dynamic performance of displays is an important characteristic for multimedia applications. Motion‐picture response time (MPRT) has been used as an indicator of the dynamic performance of LCDs. This paper describes a comprehensive method of MPRT evaluation for the oblique viewing direction. By using a tilted camera configuration, the angular dependency of MPRT is investigated for the condition that the horizontally scrolling patterns are observed from the vertical direction. For each gray‐to‐gray transition, distinct changes in MPRT and the luminance profile of blur are observed.  相似文献

Ambient displays provide us with information in the background of our awareness. However, as each user has individual wishes and needs of how, which and when information is presented, the acceptance of ambient displays is low.In this paper we introduce an extensible architecture for personalized ambient information.We employ a notification system to extend the capability of a fixture to display more than one variable. Multiple variables can be updated by multiple information providers. Thereby, our architecture covers a broader spectrum of notifications from alarms to ambient information.We evaluate our concept within a dual-task experiment in comparison to preset notifications. The results show a level of self-interruption which is significantly lower than using preset notifications. Therefore our approach outperforms preset notifications and moves ambient displays closer to secondary displays in human–computer interaction.  相似文献
