Multicasting refers to the transmission of data from a source node to multiple destination nodes in a network. Group multicasting is a generalization of multicasting whereby every member of a group is allowed to multicast messages to other members that belong to the same group. The routing problem in this case involves the construction of a set of low cost multicast trees with bandwidth requirements, one for each member of the group for multicasting messages to other members of the group. In this paper, we examine this routing problem with an additional requirement that member nodes are allowed to join and leave the multicasting group anytime during a session. We call this problem, the dynamic group multicast routing problem (DGMRP). In this paper, we proposed three heuristic algorithms to generate a set of low cost multicast trees with dynamic group membership. Results from our empirical study shows that the one of the proposed algorithms, called Maximum bandwidth bottleneck path selection algorithm (MBBPS), achieves better utilization of bandwidth resources as compared with the other two algorithms which are based on a greedy approach. In this paper, we propose an energy‐efficient power control and harvesting time scheduling scheme for resource allocation of the subchannels in a nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA)–based device‐to‐device (D2D) communications in cellular networks. In these networks, D2D users can communicate by sharing the radio resources assigned to cellular users (CUs). Device‐to‐device users harvest energy from the base station (BS) in the downlink and transmit information to their receivers. Using NOMA, more than one user can access the same frequency‐time resource simultaneously, and the signals of the multiusers can be separated successfully using successive interference cancellation (SIC). In fact, NOMA, unlike orthogonal multiple access (OMA) methods, allows sharing the same frequency resources at the same time by implementing adaptive power allocation. Our aim is to maximize the energy efficiency of the D2D pairs, which is the ratio of the achievable throughput of the D2D pairs to their energy consumption by allocating the proper subchannel of each cell to each device user equipment (DUE), managing their transmission power, and setting the harvesting and transmission time. The constraints of the problem are the quality of service of the CUs, minimum required throughput of the subchannels, and energy harvesting of DUEs. We formulate the problem and propose a low‐complexity iterative algorithm on the basis of the convex optimization method and Karush‐Kuhn‐Tucker conditions to obtain the optimal solution of the problem. In this paper novel modified Hermite polynomial functions for use in impulse radio (ultra-wideband) communications are proposed. With these functions pulse shapes which are orthogonal and have nearly constant pulse width regardless of the pulse order are generated. These properties hold under the effects of differentiation. An M-ary communication system is constructed using these pulse shapes. A Matlab model for generating the pulses is designed and the effect of timing jitter on the performance of the system is investigated by computer simulation. 相似文献

For the fast prototyping, production, and delivery of commercial radio frequency products/systems, accurate and reliable test systems are necessary. These systems are usually product customized and thus expensive solutions, capable of performing all necessary measurements for a specific product. The purpose of this paper is to present a flexible cost‐effective test solution, capable of realizing all necessary measurement on a high output power amplifier system greater than 500 W, and to generate essential reports. These reports allow the system operator to (i) perform an analysis and a statistical comparison among various products, assuring that the quality is the same for all products; and (ii) retain products that present a performance poorer than other similar products, without a rigorous technical analysis, thus increasing efficiency in factory assembly line. In Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication networks, mobile users are able to access Internet services, such as video stre- aming, digital map downloading, database acc- ess, online gaming, and even safety services like accident alarm, traffic condition broadcast, etc., through fixed roadside units. However, the dynamics of communication environment and frequent changing topology critically challe- nge the design of an efficient transport layer protocol, which makes it difficult to guarantee diverse Quality of Service (QoS) requirements for various applications. In this paper, we pre- sent a novel transport layer scheme in infra- structure based vehicular networks, and aim to resolve some challenging issues such as sou- rce transfer rate adjustment, congestion avoid- ance, and fairness. By precisely detecting pac- ket losses and identifying various causes of th- ese losses (for example, link disconnection, cha- nnel error, packet collision, buffer overflow), the proposed scheme adopts different reacting mechanisms to deal with each of the losses. Moreover, it timely monitors the buffer size of the bottleneck Road-Side Unit (RSU), and dyn- amically makes transfer rate feedbacks to sou- rce nodes to avoid buffer overflow or vacancy. This paper presents an analysis and validation by advanced system simulation of compact and low-cost six-port transceivers for future wireless local area networks (WLANs) operating at millimeter-wave frequencies. To obtain realistic simulation results, a six-port model based on the measurement results of a fabricated V-band hybrid coupler, the core component, is used. A frequency-division multiplexing scheme is used by introducing four quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) channels in the wireless communication link. The data rate achieved is about 4 Gbit/s. The operating frequency is in the 60-64 GHz unlicensed band. Bit error rate (BER) results are presented, and a comparison is made between single-carrier and multicarrier architectures. The proposed wireless system can be considered an efficient candidate for millimeter-wave communication systems operating at quasi-optical data rates. 相似文献
