Treatment of aggression for an adult diagnosed with schizophrenia at a public psychiatric hospital.

The effectiveness of a behavioral program to treat chronic aggression in an adult male individual diagnosed with schizophrenia at a public psychiatric hospital was evaluated. A behavioral plan was developed to provide the client with positive social interactions, social skills training, and positive reinforcement for prosocial behavior; no negative consequences were implemented. The number of aggressive acts declined with the introduction of the behavioral plan and ultimately remitted even without ongoing reinforcers. This article demonstrates the value of psychological intervention in treating aggression with a treatment-resistant client in an in-patient setting. Protecting mobile agents＇ data using trusted computing technology

Even with attractive computational advantages, mobile agent technology has not developed its full potential due to various security issues. This paper proposes a method called Private Key Consignment to solve the problem of how to protect the data carried by mobile agents. It exploits new functionalities and mechanism provided by the trusted computing technology, and adopts both public key and symmetric key cryptographic means for data and key protection. The most notable feature of this method is that it protects the private key of the agent by consigning it to a tamper proof hardware, thus, enabling convenient and secure use of the private key. It provides a new scheme of mobile agents＇ data protection.     

ID-based threshold decryption secure against adaptive chosen-ciphertext attack

This paper proposes an identity-based threshold decryption scheme IB-ThDec and reduces its security to the Bilinear Diffie-Hellman problem. Compared with previous work, this conceals two pairing computations in the ciphertext validity verification procedure. The formal proof of security of this scheme is provided in the random oracle model. Additionally, we show that IB-ThDec can be applied to the threshold key escrow and the mediated cryptosystems.     

Multicast key distribution schemes based on Stinson-Van Trung designs

The efficiency characteristics of multicast key distribution schemes based on (v, b, r, λ)-designs are investigated. The stability and connectivity of such designs are estimated.
