The application of microencapsulated phase‐change materials to nylon fabric using direct dual coating method

The fabrication of functional textiles able to provide thermal regulation and comfort for the body has attracted increasing interest in recent years. This research investigated fabric coatings containing energy absorbing, temperature stabilizing, phase‐change material microcapsules (PCMMcs), and their methods of application. Specifically, a coated fabric was directly prepared by a dual‐type coating method, in which the PCMMcs were dispersed in a polyurethane coating solution with no binder. The thermal performances of the dual‐coated samples were evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry, and their physical characteristics were examined by scanning electron microscopy, thermal vision camera, porosity, water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), and water entry pressure (WEP) analyses. Furthermore, the microclimate characteristics of the thermally enhanced fabrics were investigated under experimental conditions using a human‐clothing‐environment (HCE) simulator system. The study results confirmed the superior performance of the dual‐coated fabrics in terms of thermal regulation and body comfort, compared with those coated by the dry or wet coating method, because of the improved WEP, WVTR, and thermal performance. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Performance evaluation on a double‐layered satellite network

How to evaluate the performance of satellite networks is a prerequisite to the construction of satellite networks, and is also one of challenges in the researches on satellite networks. In this paper, generalized stochastic Petri net (GSPN) models are presented to carry out the performance analysis of a double‐layered satellite network. Firstly, the GSPN model of a double‐layered satellite network is simplified by proper analysis. Then, two sets of experiments are conducted to analyse the performance of the satellite networks, and show that the double‐layered satellite network outperforms single‐layered ones on the heavy traffic load. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by simulation experiments. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

过程控制级模拟轧钢系统的研制及在热轧试车中的应用

宝钢集团上海第一钢铁有限公司(后面简称一钢)新建的不锈钢工程1780热轧项目中,为了能在较短周期内完成所有的应用软件开发与测试任务,特别研制了模拟轧钢功能。本论文主要阐述利用计算机的集成思想,结合热轧工艺,来开发模拟轧钢功能,以及利用模拟轧钢进行现场各种情况的模拟测试。     

两相管流工艺计算软件的研制

利用流体力学理论 ,结合目前国内外最新的两相流理论和实验研究成果 ,在描述气液两相流水力计算、热力计算和流型判断的数学物理模型基础上 ,研制出适用于海洋、沙漠、丘陵地区原油与伴生气、凝析天然气与凝液输送工艺的一套新的计算模拟软件TFTCS。介绍TFTCS软件的结构、功能、适用范围。用该软件对锦州 2 0 - 2海底湿天然气管道进行模拟计算 ,并与管线生产数据进行对比 ,用国外同类软件PIPEPHASE进行验算。实例计算分析表明 ,该软件功能完善 ,操作方便 ,计算结果可靠 ,能满足油气混输管道的设计计算和生产管理的需要     

一种VSAT数据通信网络报文传输协议的分析

本文描述并分析了一种适用于多信道ＶＳＡＴ卫星数据通信网的报文传输协议，特别是考虑了无线信道误码率对传输协议的影响，分析表明利用Ｓ－ＲＥ－ＡＬＯＨＡ作为预订信道的多址方式及按报文占用数据信道方法可以减小报文传输延时并增加系统吞吐量。

The intervalley X6→Γ6, L6 scattering time in GaAs measured by ultrafast pump-probe infrared absorption spectroscopy

A direct measurement of the dynamics of electrons in the X₆ valley for a GaAs crystal by time-resolved absorption spectroscopy is reported for the first time. IR picosecond probe pulses were used to monitor the growth and decay of the population in the X₆ valley subsequent to excitation by a 527 nm pump pulse. The intervalley X₆→Γ₆, L₆ scattering time t_x of 0.70 ± 0.50 ps is determined and the crossection for the X₆→X₇ transition is estimated to be 1.8 × 10⁻¹⁶ cm².
