The State of the Art in Text Filtering

This paper develops a conceptual framework for text filtering practice and research, and reviews present practice in the field. Text filtering is an information seeking process in which documents are selected from a dynamic text stream to satisfy a relatively stable and specific information need. A model of the information seeking process is introduced and specialized to define text filtering. The historical development of text filtering is then reviewed and case studies of recent work are used to highlight important design characteristics of modern text filtering systems. User modeling techniques drawn from information retrieval, recommender systems, machine learning and other fields are described. The paper concludes with observations on the present state of the art and implications for future research on text filtering. Real-world extensions to scheduling algorithms based on lagrangian relaxation

Recently, efficient scheduling algorithms based on Lagrangian relaxation have been proposed for scheduling parallel machine systems and job shops. In this article, we develop real-world extensions to these scheduling methods. In the first part of the paper, we consider the problem of scheduling single operation jobs on parallel identical machines and extend the methodology to handle multiple classes of jobs, taking into account setup times and setup costs. The proposed methodology uses Lagrangian relaxation and simulated annealing in a hybrid framework. In the second part of the paper, we consider a Lagrangian relaxation based method for scheduling job shops and extend it to obtain a scheduling methodology for a real-world flexible manufacturing system with centralized material handling. 介绍了我们研制和设计的用于测量生物超微弱发光的光子计数成象系统，包括光子成象头，高帧频ＣＣＤ摄象机，图象采集系统和计算机，可以定量地探测出生物的发光强度分布 ，还能够显示出其发光的图象，确定发光的形状和位置，本系统的信噪比为１０：１，最小探测功率达１０＾－１６Ｗ，灵敏度高，动态范围大。

介绍了一种可用于精密光学测量的高速线阵ＣＣＤ图象数据采集系统，给出了系统组成、各单元设计考虑和主要技术指标。     

Nonterminating Rewritings with Head Boundedness

We define here the concept of head boundedness,head normal form and head confluence of term rewriting systems that allow infinite derivation.Head confluence iw weaker than confluence,but sufficient to guarantee the correctness of lazy implementations of equational logic programming languages.Then we prove several results.First,if a left-linear system is locally confluent and head-bounded.then it is head-confluent.Second,head-confluent and head-bounded systems have the heau Church-Rosser property.Last,if an orthogonal system is head-terminating,then it is head-bounded.These results can be applied to generalize equational logic programming languages.     

多变量系统故障诊断和容错控制新方法及其在精馏过程中的应用

本文提出一种多变量系统的故障诊断和容错控制新方法，整个系统由四个神经元组成。将本文方法用于二元精馏塔顶和塔底组分的容错控制，仿真结果证实了本文方法的有效性。该方法可望在难以建模的复杂化工过程中得到应用。     

光盘用光学头物镜性能的综合评估

论述了采用波象差均方根、点扩展函数、光学传递函数对高次旋转对称非球面光学头物镜性能进行综合评估的方法。作者在正则坐标理论基础〔１〕上编制了光学头物镜性能综合评估软件。给出了评估实例。     

扩展有限递归进程模型

主要讨论离散事件动态系统的建模问题。由ＫＩｎａｎ和ＰＶａｒａｉｙａ提出的有限递归进程（ＦＲＰ）是描述并发离散事件动态系统的有力工具，但在其ＦＲＰ中，没有定义对数据变量的操作和条件转移算子。本文扩展ＦＲＰ包括这两方面内容。最后举例说明扩展ＦＲＰ的描述能力。     

Hierarchical intelligent control with flexible AC transmission systems application

A novel hierarchical intelligent controller configuration is proposed using an artificial neural network as a control-mode classifier in the supervisory level and a set of pre-designed controllers in the lower level. Controller outputs are modified nonlinearly by the classifying signals in a structure resembling one artificial neuron with adaptively changed weights. The lower-level local controllers are implemented using neural networks. An illustrative example of this approach is based on the transient stabilization of a single-machine infinite-bus system studied in Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) research.
