Plasticity of feature-based selection in triple-conjunction search.

Two experiments examined the disruption of feature-based selection in triple-conjunction search at multiple target transfers. In Experiment 1, after 10 training sessions, a new target possessing previous distractor features was introduced. This produced disruption in RT and fixation number, but no disruption in feature-based selection. Specifically, there was a tendency to fixate objects sharing the target's contrast polarity and shape and this did not change even upon transfer to the new target. In Experiment 2, 30 training sessions were provided with three target transfers. At the first transfer, the results replicated Experiment 1. Subsequent transfers did not produce disruption on any measure. These findings are discussed in terms of strength theory, Guided Search, rule-based approaches to perceptual learning, and the area activation model. 强韧包装纸板用落叶松半化学浆的研究

主要研究一种可以替代传统硫酸盐化学木浆，来生产强韧包装纸板或瓦楞纸箱箱板纸的落叶松碱性亚硫酸盐－蒽醌半化学浆。这种采用碱性亚硫酸盐添加蒽醌助剂的制浆方法研制的落叶松半化学浆，当纸浆得率为５６．９％时，在低打浆度情况下纸浆强度性能可以达到我国２号未漂硫酸盐化学木浆的标准，而且有可能达到１号未漂硫酸盐化学木浆的标准，纸浆得率比落叶松硫酸盐木浆得率实际指标（４３％）绝对值提高１３％以上。用于制作强韧包装纸板或瓦楞纸箱箱板纸的落叶松碱性亚硫酸盐－蒽醌半化学浆，蒸煮终点宜于控制在得率约６２％、卡伯值１００左右。     

Ionic mass transfer measurements in the case of submerged multijets impinging on to a flat surface

In the case of submerged multijets impinging on to a flat surface, the limiting current densities were measured at microelectrodes, fixed flush with the target surface using diffusion controlled electrode reactions (i.e. reduction of ferricyanide ion). The height of the multijet distributor from the target surface (Y) was varied from 5 to 9 cm. The numbers of holes of the distributor (N) studied were 76 and 141. The variation of mass transfer data with radial distance reveals the existence of two different regions, i.e. the impingement region and the wall jet region. The mass transfer rate increased with increase in Y in the impingement region. The effect of Y is negligible in the wall jet region. Decrease in N decreases the mass transfer rate in both the regions. The data are correlated separately for the two regions.     

Optimizing a multiserver queuing system with a variable number of servers

A multiserver Poisson queuing system with losses, with a variable number of servers, and an additive quality functional is investigated. Nonnegative integral subset representations of integer sets

We consider an integer-subset representation problem motivated by a medical application in radiation therapy. We prove NP-completeness, derive nontrivial bounds, and report on the performance of a greedy heuristic.     

OCT-M FCC 汽油深度加氢脱硫技术的研究及工业应用

比较研究了MIP汽油与常规FCC汽油的特点，考察了抚顺石油化工研究院(FRIPP)开发的OCT-M催化汽油选择性加氢脱硫技术由MIP汽油与FCC汽油生产硫含量≯50µg/g汽油的情况下的辛烷值损失。工业应用结果表明，OCT-M技术将MIP汽油硫含量由417～442µg/g降低到24～53µg/g，RON损失0.7～1.8个单位。因此，OCT-M技术可为我国炼厂生产硫含量≯50µg/g的清洁汽油提供经济、灵活的技术方案。     

On methods of defuzzification of parametrically represented fuzzy numbers

A comparative analysis of such methods of defuzzification of fuzzy numbers as WABL (Weighted Averaging Based on Levels), centroid, and mean of maxima (MOM) is presented in the study. Analytic formulas are presented for calculating the defuzzification values for parametrically represented fuzzy numbers of triangular and trapezoidal form.
