Allocentric Versus Egocentric Spatial Memory After Unilateral Temporal Lobectomy in Humans.

Thirty patients who had undergone either a right or left unilateral temporal lobectomy (14 RTL; 16 LTL) and 16 control participants were tested on a computerized human analogue of the Morris Water Maze. The procedure was designed to compare allocentric and egocentric spatial memory. In the allocentric condition, participants searched for a target location on the screen, guided by object cues. Between trials, participants had to walk around the screen, which disrupted egocentric memory representation. In the egocentric condition, participants remained in the same position, but the object cues were shifted between searches to prevent them from using allocentric memory. Only the RTL group was impaired on the allocentric condition, and neither the LTL nor RTL group was impaired on additional tests of spatial working memory or spatial manipulation. 一种新的网络对象存储设备研究

Internet的飞速发展对于存储系统的可扩展性提出了很高的要求,也带来了由数据模型与存储模型的不一致问题引起的服务器性能瓶颈现象.针对这些情况,本文提出了网络对象附属存储设备(NAOSD)的概念,其利用设备处理器的能力直接支持结构化数据存储.这一设计减少了存储系统中数据服务器的负载,增加了系统吞吐量.同时,研究了该设备原型在集群环境中的应用,提出了数据/元数据统一存储与查询式数据定位机制.分析表明,这些机制能够较显著地提高系统扩展性——数据访问时间随系统规模的扩大呈对数增长,优于传统的映射定位机制.我们已经模拟实现了NAOSD,并在性能比较测试中取得了较好的效果.

The Role of Test Protocols in Automated Test Generation for Embedded-Core-Based System ICs

Modular testing is an attractive approach to testing large system ICs, especially if they are built from pre-designed reusable embedded cores. This paper describes an automated modular test development approach. The basis of this approach is that a core or module test is dissected into a test protocol and a test pattern list. A test protocol describes in detail how to apply one test pattern to the core, while abstracting from the specific test pattern stimulus and response values. Subsequent automation tasks, such as the expansion from core-level tests to system-chip-level tests and test scheduling, all work on test protocols, thereby greatly reducing the amount of compute time and data involved. Finally, an SOC-level test is assembled from the expanded and scheduled test protocols and the (so far untouched) test patterns. This paper describes and formalizes the notion of test protocols and the algorithms for test protocol expansion and scheduling. A running example is featured throughout the paper. We also elaborate on the industrial usage of the concepts described.     

一种实现最佳用户检测的非线性优化神经网络

本文提出并讨论了实现码分多址（CDMA）系统上最佳多用户检测（MUD）的一种神经网络方法。该方法通过将最佳多用户检测视为非线性优化组合问题，利用神经网络能有效求解非线性优化问题的优势，导出了一种非线性优化神经网络来实现最佳多用户检测，理论分析和计算机模拟表明，所提出的神经网络具有可实时应用的动态性能和较传统方法优越得多的误码率性能和抗多址干扰的性能。     

UHF频段卫星移动通信系统若干问题的探讨

Efficient Parallel Algorithms for Some Graph Theory Problems

In this paper,a sequential algorithm computing the aww vertex pair distance matrix D and the path matrix Pis given.On a PRAM EREW model with p,1≤p≤n^2,processors,a parallel version of the sequential algorithm is shown.This method can also be used to get a parallel algorithm to compute transitive closure array A^* of an undirected graph.The time complexity of the parallel algorithm is O(n^3/p).If D,P and A^* are known,it is shown that the problems to find all connected components,to compute the diameter of an undirected graph,to determine the center of a directed graph and to search for a directed cycle with the minimum(maximum)length in a directed graph can all be solved in O(n^2/p logp)time.
