Behavior and movements of Indian meal moths (Plodia interpunctella Hübner) during commodity infestation

A model warehouse with carefully regulated environmental conditions was used to study the behavior of adult Indian meal moths during commodity infestation. Sequences of moth distributions in the warehouse, calculated by spatial analysis, clearly showed the coordinated movements of moth populations from eclosion to death. Many facets of adult behavior in a warehouse were coordinated with the photoperiod. Adult moths emerged at the end of a photophase and fairly rapidly moved to the walls and, to a lesser extent, to the undersides of the commodity pallets. Most females are mated in the first 24 h after emergence, largely during the scotophase. Air circulation within the warehouse probably compromised pheromone-directed guidance of males to females, although pheromones may still have a major role in regulating other aspects of male mating behavior. When mating subsided, many of the males flew upwind to the air circulating unit, but only during the photophases. The females moved to the return air side of the warehouse and then migrated towards the same end as the males, but only during the scotophases. They moved from pallet to pallet largely by walking on the warehouse floor and laid eggs in or on the cups of commodity. Direct oviposition on the commodity during the infestation period was lower than expected, probably because commodity odors were dissipated by air circulation and did not provide appropriate orientation. At 144 h after emergence, 90% of the moth population had died.     

Cross-Border Migration of Hong Kong Residents Under the 'One Country, Two Systems' Policy

Hong Kong is known as a migrant city because its population was sourced from mainland China, and because there has always been outflows of people to overseas countries, especially from the mid-1980s to mid-1990s. Emigration to mainland China has become a significant recent trend. This article discusses this phenomenon in the theoretical contexts of migration and trans-border residential development. It contends that the trend will intensify more quickly than other cross-border movements because the two systems are separated by a political border within one country, and because there are common cultural ties and rapid economic integration.     

调节对象参数和运动特性随工况变化的分析

水轮机调节对象的许多参数都是随运行工况变化的。以调节对象线性化模型为基础，从1个实例计算人手，计算了不同工况下水轮机传递系数和发电机6个参数的变化情况，进而计算这些参数变化对捌节对象特征根的影响。通过汁算表明，其水力振荡衰减速度与出力有关．而系统的其他运动特性随工况变化较小。     

非饱和土壤水分运动数值模拟研究综述

土壤水是地表水和地下水联系的纽带，在水循环过程中起着重要作用，它和农业、水文、环境等领域有着密切关系。本文从土壤水分运动机理出发，评述了国内外水力参数取值方法和数值模拟的研究动态，对非饱和土壤水分运动数值模拟传统的有限元和有限差分研究方法进行了综合分析，并讨论了两种改进的数值计算方法——有限元质量集中法和有限体积法。本文认为非饱和土壤水分运动的数值模拟虽然取得了一些进展，但对土壤水分运动较为复杂的情况仍然手段有限，该领域的研究工作有待继续深化。     

近45年元江干热河谷灌溉需水的变化趋势分析

基于元江、巍山及禄丰3个站1955~2000年的逐月气象数据及作物种植、农业耕作等资料,采用Mann-Kendall法和R/S分析法,研究了元江干热河谷近45年来的干湿变化及农业灌溉需水量转折变化趋势。结果表明:元江河谷的气温下降、降水量增多、湿度增大,导致ET0显著降低,干湿指数、水稻及农业综合灌溉需水定额都呈下降的趋势。元江河谷的气象因子转折变化集中在20世纪70年代初和80年代末,而农业综合灌溉需水定额的转折变化期则在90年代初与气象因子的第二个转折期基本相同。     

湘钢220KV备用电源自投方式商榷

针对湘钢三中央变电站２２０ｋＶ备用电源自投装置存在的问题，提出了新的方式和设想．分析采用新的方式后，停电时间由３．５ｓ缩短至０．０４～０．０９ｓ的可行性．同时还提出在ＳＦ６断路器的变电站，自投装置应采用的方式．

文章应用差齿原理在冶金设备初轧机推拉床实施转角性微调技术，以达到初轧机机前与机后推拉床同步调整效果．实践证明，效果显著，适用面广，且操作简单、方便经济．     

手势数据驱动的头部运动合成方法

非手部手势是手语表达中不可缺少的一部分,头部运动的实现并与手势进行协同表达是其重要研究内容。对真人手语表演数据中的手势与头部动作之间的关系进行了深入研究,提取二者的动作特征,利用核典型相关分析方法(kernel canonical correlation analysis,KCCA)建立起手势与头部动作之间的预测关系模型。动画合成结果以及评价实验表明,KCCA方法能更好地刻画手势与头部动作的协调性,实现虚拟人行为动作合成的逼真性。     

Measuring the likelihood of VR visual fatigue through ocular biomechanics

Immersion in virtual reality is still linked to symptoms of visual fatigue such as eye strain, dizziness, and overall discomfort. Studies have investigated visual fatigue through pre- and post-immersion tests of the visual function. In this work, we extend on our previous study and derive a visual fatigue likelihood metric using biomechanical analysis. Previously, we have investigated the effect of VR on the vergence system during immersion. The proposed visual fatigue metric exhibited a significant correlation to vergence angle variability which was previously linked to vergence accommodation conflict in VR. We also discuss subjective feedback and its relationship with the proposed visual fatigue metric.     

以ARM为核心的嵌入式体感遥控器设计

介绍一种以ARM为核心的嵌入式服务机器人体感遥控器的设计。硬件上,本遥控器采用具有ARM Cortex—M3内核的STM32F103C8T6作为核心处理器,选用ST公司的iNEMO惯性导航模块进行手部姿态的识别,同时还具有LCD显示模块、无线收发模块和电源模块;软件上,采用嵌入式操作系统μC／OS—Ⅱ实现多任务的调度和外围设备的管理。经实验验证,本遥控器具有高稳定性、高实时性、高可靠性、低误码率等优点。
