This paper proposes a novel method of suppressing the inrush current of transformers. A small‐rated voltage‐source PWM converter is connected in series to the transformers through a matching transformer. As the connected PWM converter serves as a resistor for the source current, no inrush phenomena occurs. The required rating of the PWM converter, which serves as the damping resistor for the inrush phenomena, is 1/400 that of the main transformers in single‐phase circuits. In three‐phase circuits, it is 1/900. The basic principle of the proposed method is discussed. Digital computer simulation is implemented to confirm the validity and excellent practicability of the proposed method using the PSCAD/EMTDC. A prototype experimental model is constructed and tested. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can perfectly suppress the inrush phenomena. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The paper presents a parallel algorithm for time-slot assignment problems in TDM hierarchical switching systems, based on the neural network model. The TDM systems are operated in repetitive frames composed of several time-slots. A time-slot represents a switching configuration where one packet is transmitted through an I/O line. The goal of the algorithm is to find conflict-free time-slot assignments for given switching demands. The algorithm runs on a maximum of n2×m processors for m-time-slot problems in n×n TDM systems. In small problems up to a 24×24 TDM system, the algorithm can find the optimum solution in a nearly constant time, when it is performed on n2×m processors  相似文献

A nonlinear calibration curve for volume fraction vs integrated intensity ratio was obtained for the monoclinic-tetragonal ZrO2 system by using X-ray powder pattern-fitting and pattern-decomposition techniques. The empirical equation agrees well with the theoretical one. By using this equation, the deviation from linearity (6.8% maximum) resulting from the intensity difference of corresponding reflections of the two phases can be estimated quite accurately.  相似文献

In microscopic image processing for analyzing biological objects, structural characters of objects such as symmetry and orientation can be used as a prior knowledge to improve the results. In this study, we incorporated filamentous local structures of neurons into a statistical model of image patches and then devised an image processing method based on tensor factorization with image patch rotation. Tensor factorization enabled us to incorporate correlation structure between neighboring pixels, and patch rotation helped us obtain image bases that well reproduce filamentous structures of neurons. We applied the proposed model to a microscopic image and found significant improvement in image restoration performance over existing methods, even with smaller number of bases.  相似文献

High-performance Mg2Si thermoelectric devices have been obtained by spark plasma sintering of high-purity, pre-synthesized, all-molten Mg2Si powder. We studied the effects of source powder particle size on thermoelectric performance. To improve the performance, further investigation of the microstructure of the devices is needed. In this work we studied the microstructure of grain boundaries and interfaces between electrodes and Mg2Si sintered bodies to increase understanding of Mg2Si thermoelectric devices.  相似文献

A continuous‐time plant with a discretized continuous‐time controller does not yield stability if the sampling rate is lower than some certain level. Thus far, high‐performance electronic control has made use of expensive hardware needed to implement discretized continuous‐time controllers; low‐cost hardware generally does not have a sufficiently high sampling rate. This technical note presents results comparing performance indexes with and without intersample behavior, and provides some answers to the question of how a low‐specification device can control a plant effectively. We consider a machine simulating wafer handling robots, which is an electromechanical system driven by a direct drive motor, at a semiconductor factory. We illustrate the controller design for the robot with and without intersample behavior, and present simulations and experimental results using these controllers. Taking intersample behavior into account proves to be effective in improving control performance and makes it possible to choose a relatively long sampling period. Controller design in terms of the performance index with intersample behavior makes it possible to deal with situations in which a sufficiently short sampling period may not be employed, and freedom of controller design may be widened, especially regarding the choice of the sampling period.  相似文献

Cu(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 thin films with high Ga/III ratio (around 0.8) were prepared by sequential evaporation from CuGaSe2, CuInSe2, In2Se3 and Ga2Se3 compounds and then annealing in H2S gas atmosphere. The annealing temperature was varied from 400 to 500 °C. These samples were characterized by means of XRF, EPMA, XRD and SEM. The S/(S+Se) mole ratio in the thin films increased with increase in the annealing temperature, keeping the Cu, In and Ga contents nearly constant. The open circuit voltage increased and the short circuit current density decreased with increase in the annealing temperature. The best solar cell using Cu(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 thin film with Ga/(In+Ga)=0.79 and S/(S+Se)=0.11 annealed at 400 °C demonstrated Voc=535 mV, Isc=13.3 mA/cm2, FF=0.61 and efficiency=4.34% without AR-coating.  相似文献

Powder compacts of synthetic mica (fluorphlogopite) encapsulated in a boro–silicate glass tube were isostatically hot–pressed in a Roy–Tuttle–type pressure vessel. Synthetic mica was sintered to a density of 2.60 g/cm3 (91.2% of theoretical density) without additives under 98 MPa of water at 800°C for 45 min.  相似文献

High-expression plasmid vectors for human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were constructed by combination of cytomegalovirus immediate-early enhancer with cellular promoters. MSCs transfected with the vector showed higher transgene production of a cytokine, which increased the differentiation level to chondrocytes.  相似文献
