Consideration of Stretchable Dry Electrodes for Smart Shirts Aimed for Biological Signal Monitoring

Dry electrodes of a smart shirt for measuring biological signals were prepared by the additive printing method using a stretchable conductive paste with Ag fillers loading. Interfacial impedance between the electrode and skin depended on the contact pressure of electrode and the moisture of stratum corneum. When moisture of stratum corneum was more than 30%, ECG could be measured using the stretchable electrodes printed on a compression shirt. However, noise signal in the ECG signal increased when the moisture of stratum corneum was less than 30%. To solve this problem, we propose to use additional electrodes made of an electrically conductive kneaded rubber.

日建设计东京总部大楼结构制振体系动力性能研究

日建设计东京总部大楼是采用钢框架 被动耗能体系的中高层智能办公大楼,竣工于2003年3月。其被动耗能体系由受压失稳制约型制振支撑(低屈服点100MPa钢)和粘滞型制振墙构成,且大楼里安装了可以持续测量地震运动的地震观测系统。本文介绍了2003年4月到2005年3月观测到的43条地震波的地震运动特性的分析结果、地基影响以及结构反应特性。这43条地震波分为两组:A组为中震,震中靠近建筑;B组为大震,震中远离建筑。作者得出结论,对于周期不大于1s的分量来说地基放大特性和输入损失比较显著。     

Relation between Shot Peening Process and Fatigue Life in the Case of Hardening Steels

Nowadays, in the auto industry, the need for improvement of fuel efficiency is getting increased more and more in terms of the global warming, as well as the need of light-weighting of gears, transmission parts. Hence, we‘ve studied the relation between the shot peening working conditions and factors for improvement of gear‘s fatigue life, and also the relation between the factors for improvement and the fatigue life, applying shot peening to a gear of SNCM220. Also, we examined the relation between the fatigue life and arc height that is utilized as a substitute characteristic for shot peening working conditions, adding its observation here.

An autonomous decentralized scheduling algorithm for a scheduling problem in a metal mould assembly process

This paper deals with a scheduling problem in a metal mould assembly process. The process is of job shop type with several additional constraints. One constraint is that precedence relations exist not only among operations but also among jobs. The other constraint is that the system has two types of machines in parallel. The single-function machine executes a specific operation of each job and the multi-function machine can execute several operations. Therefore selection of the machine is necessary for executing each operation. In addition the problem has two objective functions. One is to minimize the sum of the tardiness of each job, and the other is to maximize the working time of the multi-function machine because of reducing the operating cost of machines. An autonomous decentralized scheduling algorithm is proposed to obatin a compromise solution of the multi-objective problem. In this algorithm, a number of decision makers are called subsystems, which co-operate with one another in order to attain the goal of the overall system. In our algorithm, all jobs and the set of multi-function machine are defined as the subsystem because their objective functions are competitive. They determine the scheduling plan on the basis of their co-operation and the satisfaction of their own objective function levels. The effectiveness of the algorithm is investigated by examining numerical results.     

Attitude Control of Quadrotor in Consideration of the Effects of a Pole Based on Limited Pole Placement

This paper introduces an attitude control technique for a quadrotor aircraft. Considering that the nonlinear characteristics of the aircraft makes it difficult to stabilize, a quadrotor controlled with an adaptive algorithm. Accordingly, we proposed a quadrotor application with backstepping based on the Lyapunov function. Furthermore, we designed a separate actuator control to be mounted on the aircraft for the control of the quadrotor. This approach is often used in industrial equipment. In particular, the limited pole placement (LPP) method is applied to design the controller considering the characteristics of the actuator. The representative simulation results are presented and discussed.

太平洋世纪广场丸之内大厦为地下4层,地上32层,塔楼1层的办公大楼建筑,竣工于2001年11月。建筑设计上要求排除临近巨大换气塔的影响,将高层部分尽量用4根细长的大柱高高举起。为此,结构上采用了由CFT柱构成的巨型结构体系。本文介绍了该大厦的结构设计和抗震设计的主要内容,包括巨型结构、巨型柱、转换梁以及粘性体制振墙等结构构件的设计细节,供设计人员参考。
