Maltulosyl arginine is the initial maillard reaction product of maltose and arginine, which may have anti-diabetic activity. In this study, LC/MS was combined with ultrafiltration as a new method to investigate its inhibitory activity on maltase. The quantitative data was got from a triple quadrupole instrument in multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The experimental results proved that maltulosyl arginine is an effective maltase inhibitor and can be used for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. 相似文献

Oxidized carbon nanotubes are tested as the matrix for analysis of the melamine by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOFMS). Traditional MALDI matrix are not suit for analysis of the low molecular compounds due to the interference associated to the matrix clusters. Oxidized carbon nanotubes can transfer energy to the analyte under the laser irradiation, which makes analyte well ionized or desorbed. Moreover, the interference of the intrinsic matrix ions can be eliminated. Mass discrimination mostly is an obstacle to accurate determination of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). It is the prevailing notion that mass bias in ICP-MS results from space-charge effects of high density ions form the behind of skimmer cone to the before of slot where a fraction of lighter isotopes fail to enter the mass analyzer. Neodymium isotopes was analyzed by a Nu Plasma multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS) to investigate the mass discrimination, respectively changing two crucial analytical parameters: the nebulizer flow and the x-coordinate of inductively coupled plasma, measuring the variety of the Ar40Ar40 molecular ions intensity and the exponential factor of mass discrimination. The curves indicate the presence of the secondly mechanism that lead to the heavier isotope depletion. It is maybe the plasma centrifuge effects, a concept proposed firstly by Qing-zhu Yin and Cin-Ty Lee. The two contrary mechanisms act on the ions and in theory the points should be exist where the two forces are equilibrium and the measurement results are the expectation values. 相似文献

Calmodulin is a ubiquitous calcium-binding protein in eukaryote cells and engages in various important biological pathways. In the present study, binding interactions between several metal ions and calmodulin were investigated by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). The results revealed that the specific binding of metal ions with the protein could be detected using MALDI-TOF MS. 相似文献

Five different processed methods for ginseng were used to transferred ginsenosides with large molecule mass into low polar ginsenosides. The contents of low polar ginsenosides in these ginseng products were determined by ESI-MS. The results show that the high pressure steaming method make for increasing the concent of low polar ginsenosides, while soakage in vinegar is not good comparing with it. 相似文献

The results of the experiments prove that different processed methods is making a certain different influence on the contents of chemical components in Radix Paeoniae alba. High-speed counter-current chromatography(HSCCC) and electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) were developed for the analysis the ginsenosides in plant, which were extracted from the root of Panax quinquefolium L.. ESI-MS experiment was carried out to aid the identification of three ginsenosides obtained in HSCCC by comparing the molecular weights and fragment ions of the molecular ion with that of the standard.
