The longevity of the sensor networks purely depends on the effectiveness of a cluster head selection process that attributes towards effective network management in wireless sensor networks. However, the majority of the cluster head selection schemes are considered an unrealistic condition which ponders the sensor nodes that have the possibility of being selected as cluster heads are highly energy competitive and trustworthy. In this paper, an availability predictive trust factor‐based semi‐Markov mechanism (APTFSMM) was proposed for facilitating effective cluster head selection with the view to enhance its degree of longevity degree in wireless sensor networks. This proposed APTFSMM inherited the merits of semi‐Markov process for estimating availability predictive trust factor that quantifies the maximum likelihood probability under which it is selected as the cluster head through maximized exploration of multiple transition states of the sensors in the networks. This proposed APTFSMM is determined to be predominant in enhancing the lifetime of the sensor network by 31% with a significantly reduced energy consumption rate of 38% compared with the benchmarked cluster head selection approaches considered for investigation.  相似文献

Ni-based coatings IN625® and Ni20%Cr were cold sprayed on a low-alloy steel (AISI 4130) substrate, using Helium as the process gas. Dense coatings up to 3-mm thickness were deposited, having a hardness of 500-550 HV. The coatings showed a hardness maximum, with heat treatment, before dropping to a lower value. The coating microstructure revealed two distinct types of regions, comprising grains with a high dislocation density and elongated shear bands having twins. Heat treatment led to 30-50 nm grains in the IN625 coating, and >1-2 μm grains for NiCr. Both coatings showed a compressive residual stress in the as-sprayed condition, which relaxed to a zero residual stress, at 650 °C. The NiCr coatings showed a much higher compressibility, as compared to IN625. The IN625 coatings induced a much larger deformation on the 4130 steel. Overall, while both types of Ni-based alloy coatings showed similarities in terms of hardness and microstructure, they revealed distinct differences in their deformability, thermal stability, and substrate deformation, indicating a different behavior between a binary solid solution (NiCr) as compared to a multielement solid solution (IN625), as elucidated via a detailed characterization of these coatings.  相似文献

This paper addresses the formulation and numerical efficiency of various numerical models of different nonconserving time integrators for studying wave propagation in nonlinear hyperelastic waveguides. The study includes different nonlinear finite element formulations based on standard Galerkin finite element model, time domain spectral finite element model, Taylor–Galerkin finite element model, generalized Galerkin finite element model and frequency domain spectral finite element model. A comparative study on the computational efficiency of these different models is made using a hyperelastic rod model, and the optimal computational scheme is identified. The identified scheme is then used to study the propagation of transverse and longitudinal waves in a Timoshenko beam with Murnaghan material nonlinearity.  相似文献

This paper proposed preparing and investigating the Epoxy–Silicon carbide composite for aerospace applications. In recent years aerospace industries concentrated in low weight, high strength and high thermal resistance materials. Polymer matrix composite can provide a better solution for the statement mentioned above. This study thermosetting study Epoxy and SiC materials have mixed in centrifugal casting with the ratio of 5%-SiC and resin. The microstructural evaluation is carried by Scanning Electron microscopic and investigating the tensile and hardness properties of the Epoxy– SiC Functionally Graded Polymer Matrix Composites. The wear and fracture analyse were investigated, and the results were discussed. the results show the SiC has provided the higher strength for composite, and its mixing percentage has control the weight of the polymer composite.
