Silicoaluminophosphate (SAPO-5) molecular sieves have been synthesised from reaction mixtures having a molar composition of: 0.7–1.0 Al2O3:0.7–1.0 P2O5:0.01–2.0 SiO2:xR:40 H2O (where R = (C2H3)3N or (C2H3)4NOH and x = 1.5–2.5 for (C2H5)5N and 0.5 for (C2H5)4NOH, at 473 K using various sources of alumina and silica. The effects of (i) varying the crystallinity of the alumina source (boehmite) and (ii) the use of different silica sources such as freshly prepared silica either from sodium silicate or paddy husk extract, silica gel from commercial water-glass, and tetraethyl orthosilicate have been studied. The crystallinity of boehmite has been found to have a strong effect on its reactivity towards the formation of SAPO-5. The activity of boehmite for SAPO-5 formation increased with a decrease in its crystallinity (or with increase in its moisture content). Any silica source devoid of sodium ions could be employed for the synthesis of SAPO-5. The process of crystallisation started as early as within 1.5 h of reaction and incorporation of silicon into the AlPO4 framework has been noted at this stage. Formation of some tridymite phase as impurity has been observed under conditions such as (i) SiO2 concentration > 1.7 mole and (ii) x > 2.0 when R = (C2H5)3N.  相似文献

HCI plays an important role in interactive medical image segmentation. The Goals, Operators, Methods, and Selection rules (GOMS) model and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) questionnaire are different methods that are often used to evaluate the HCI process. In this article, we aim at improving the HCI process of interactive segmentation using both the GOMS model and the NASA-TLX questionnaire to: 1) identify the relations between these two methods and 2) propose HCI design suggestions based on the synthesis of the evaluation results using both methods. For this, we conducted an experiment where three physicians used two interactive segmentation approaches to segment different types of organs at risk for radiotherapy planning. Using the GOMS model, we identified 16 operators and 10 methods. Further analysis discovered strong relations between the use of GOMS operators and the results of the NASA-TLX questionnaire. Finally, HCI design issues were identified, and suggestions were proposed based on the evaluation results and the identified relations.  相似文献

A new data clustering algorithm Density oriented Kernelized version of Fuzzy c-means with new distance metric (DKFCM-new) is proposed. It creates noiseless clusters by identifying and assigning noise points into separate cluster. In an earlier work, Density Based Fuzzy C-Means (DOFCM) algorithm with Euclidean distance metric was proposed which only considered the distance between cluster centroid and data points. In this paper, we tried to improve the performance of DOFCM by incorporating a new distance measure that has also considered the distance variation within a cluster to regularize the distance between a data point and the cluster centroid. This paper presents the kernel version of the method. Experiments are done using two-dimensional synthetic data-sets, standard data-sets referred from previous papers like DUNN data-set, Bensaid data-set and real life high dimensional data-sets like Wisconsin Breast cancer data, Iris data. Proposed method is compared with other kernel methods, various noise resistant methods like PCM, PFCM, CFCM, NC and credal partition based clustering methods like ECM, RECM, CECM. Results shown that proposed algorithm significantly outperforms its earlier version and other competitive algorithms.  相似文献

In today's world striving for efficiency in every sector, especially power generation and distribution, smart grids emerge as the solution for efficiently meeting the increasing demand. They adjust themselves to optimally deliver energy at the lowest cost and highest quality possible. The grid successfully makes use of renewable energy resources, electric vehicles, and smart pricing techniques in its attempt to achieve energy efficiency. It also promotes a greener environment by striving to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Information communication technology (ICT) helps the grid in collecting consumption data from the consumers and in sharing tariff information. ICT also helps to gather information about the status of the grid with regard to aspects like power quality, faults etc. The purpose of this paper is to review recent literature with a view to comprehensively present the technologies employed in the smart grid for achieving energy efficiency and the challenges involved therein.  相似文献

We report investigations on polycrystalline LaCo1?x Al x O3 (x = 0–0.9) bulk samples. The solid state synthesized samples showed a coexistence of rhombohedral and monoclinic phases in the intermediate concentrations (0.2 ≤ x ≤ 0.5) and pure rhombohedral phase otherwise. The observed effect of Al doping on dc transport has been analysed on the basis of small polaron hopping mechanism. The magnetisation results presented give evidence of weak ferromagnetism and anomalous temperature dependence of coercivity which we associate to the canting of the localised high-spin Co(III) and anti-symmetric exchange interactions at low temperatures.  相似文献

n-3 Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) have a chemopreventive effect while n-6 PUFA promote carcinogenesis. The effect of these essential fatty acids may be related to oxidative stress. Therefore, the study was designed to evaluate the effect of different ratios of fish oil (FO) and corn oil (CO) in the prevention of colon cancer. Male Wistar rats were divided into control, dimethylhydrazine dihydrochloride (DMH) treated, FO + CO (1:1) and FO + CO (2.5:1). All the groups, except the control received a weekly injection of DMH for 4 weeks. The animals were sacrificed either 48 h later (initiation phase) or kept for 16 weeks (post initiation phase). DMH treatment in the initiation phase animals showed mild to moderate inflammation, decreased ROS and TrxR activity, increased antioxidants, apoptosis and ACF multiplicity. The post initiation study showed severe inflammation with hyperplasia, increased ACF multiplicity and ROS levels, a decrease in antioxidants and apoptosis. The FO + CO (1:1) treated animals showed severe inflammation, a decrease in ROS, an increase in antioxidants and apoptosis in the initiation phase. FO + CO (1:1) in the post initiation phase and FO + CO (2.5:1) in the initiation showed mild inflammation, increased ROS, apoptosis and decreased antioxidants. There was a decrease in ACF multiplicity and ROS levels, increased antioxidants and apoptosis in the post initiation phase study. The present study suggests that FO has a dose- and time-dependent chemopreventive effect in colon cancer mediated through oxidative stress and apoptosis.  相似文献

Role of boron in low carbon aluminum-killed cold rolled batch annealed steels has been critically examined. It was found that it is not the absolute boron but B/N ratio that controls the forming properties. Pancake shaped grains (high grain shape anisotropy) are highly desirable for improving the desirable {111} texture, normal anisotropy, and draw ability of the steel sheets. Microstructural analysis showed that the extent of pancaking decreases with increase in B/N atomic ratio and reaches ultimately to formation of equiaxed grains. Low B/N ratio (upto 0.3) resulted in improved mean plastic anisotropy ratio (r m) value and high grain shape anisotropy, which has been characterized through grain aspect ratio. The desirable orientation in steel with low B/N ratio is attributed to sufficient availability of Al and N to precipitate during batch annealing. Optimum amount of boron, aluminum, and nitrogen in steel has resulted in coarse pancake structure, which is ideally suited for improved formability.  相似文献

The response of Nomex sheets to some penetrants has been analyzed. The process of moisture uptake depends on the relative humidity (RH) of the ambient atmosphere and the initial characteristics of the polymer. In the case of common laboratory solvents,the uptake by the polymer shows an inverse dependence on the molar volume of the former. Although the calendered and the uncalendered Nomex sheets exhibit an overall similarity in their response to various penetrants,quantitative comparison reveals distinct differences.  相似文献

Synthesis of Hg(Tl)Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O 8+δ superconducting tapes have been accomplished by annealing the precursor tape, Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O y (fabricated by doctor blade tape casting technique) in an environment of Hg(Tl) vapour. Characterization of superconducting HTSC tape sample was carried out through XRD, TEM, SEM and R-T measurements. Surface morphological investigations of the as-synthesized Hg(Tl)Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O 8+δ HTSC tapes by scanning electron microscope have shown the occurrence of curious growth characteristics resembling spiral like features. These growth spirals encompass nearly the whole grain suggesting that spiral growth led to the formation of small crystal like grains of superconducting material Hg(Tl)Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 2 O 8+δ .The likely mechanism for the generation of these screw dislocations has been elucidated in terms of incoherent coalescence of growth fronts formed from Hg(Tl):1223 and Hg(Tl):1234 nuclei.  相似文献
