Nowadays, manufacturers have to share some of their resources with partners due to the competitive economic environment. The management of the availability periods of shared resources causes a problem because it is achieved by the scheduling systems, which assume a local environment where all resources are on the same site. Therefore, distributed scheduling with shared resources is an important research topic. In this communication, we introduce the architecture and behaviour of DSCEP framework (Distributed, Supervisor, Customer, Environment, and Producer) under shared resources situation with disturbances. We are using a simple example of manufacturing system to illustrate the ability of DSCEP framework to solve the shared resources scheduling problem in complex systems.  相似文献

We developed a novel bivalent antibody fragment, the linear(L-) F(ab')2, comprising tandem repeats of a heavy chain fragmentVH–CH1–VH–CH1 cosecreted with a light chain.Functional humanized L-F(ab')2 directed against p185HER2 wassecreted from Escherichia coli at high titer (100 mg/l) andpurified to homogeneity. The L-F(ab')2 binds two equivalentsof antigen with an apparent affinity (Kd = 0.46 nM) that iswithin 3-fold of the corresponding thioether-linked F(ab')2fragment The N-terminal site binds antigen with an affinity(Kd = 1.2 nM) that is 4-fold greater than that for the C-terminalsite, as shown by the comparison of L-F(ab')2 variants containinga single functional binding site. L-F(ab')2 has greater antiproliferativeactivity than the thioether-linked F(ab')2 against the p185HER2-overexpressingtumor cell line BT474. Linear and thioether-linked F(ab')2 havevery similar pharmacokinetic properties in normal mice, andtheir serum permanence times are respectively 7- and 8-foldlonger than the corresponding Fab fragment L-F(ab')2 offersa facile route to bivalent antibody fragments that are potentiallysuitable for clinical applications, and that may have improvedbiological activity compared with thioether-linked F(ab')2 fragments.  相似文献

PURPOSE: The characterization of recombinant MN gp120/alum vaccine requires the study of the gp120-alum interaction for the successful formulation of an alum-based HIV-1 vaccine. METHODS: Several observations suggest that the gp120-alum interaction is weak, wherein buffer counterions such as phosphate, sulfate, bicarbonate may cause the desorption of gp120 from alum. Comparison of gp120 with other proteins using particle mobility measurements shows that the weak binding of gp120 to alum is not an anomaly. Serum and plasma also cause desorption of gp120 from alum with a half-life of only a few minutes, wherein this half-life may be faster than the in-vivo recruitment of antigen presenting cells to the site of immunization. RESULTS: Immunization of guinea pigs, rabbits and baboons with gp120 formulated in alum or saline demonstrated that alum provides adjuvant activity for gp120, particularly after early immunizations, but the adjuvant effect is attenuated after several boosts. CONCLUSIONS: These observations indicate that both the antigen and the adjuvant require optimization together.  相似文献

Hydrolysis of protein solid wastes from tanneries to yield protein meal for animal nutrition has been performed in a pilot assembly designed to process 400 kg h?1 of disposal material under optimum energy consumption and product yield conditions. Evaluation of the significance of amino acid degradation caused by the process, in relation to the product cost and quality in animal nutrition, was the purpose. A nutrition bioassay was carried out to study the incidence of dietary substitution of the above protein meal for soybean meal on growth performance by early weaned piglets. The results show that degradation of serine, proline, arginine and threonine occurs during collagen hydrolysis, and that only the threonine concentration in the product falls below the dietary requirement. However, integration of protein meal diets with the necessary amino acid content may be accomplished cheaply. Compared with other vegetable and animal commercial protein meals, the cost of the product obtained from tanned hides appears competitive. Processing of other tannery disposal material is not recommended, due to the low protein content of the starting material.  相似文献

The allocation of water resources between different users is a hard task for water managers because they must deal with conflicting objectives. The main objective is to obtain the most accurate distribution of the resource and the associated circulating flows through the system. This induces the need for a river basin optimization model that provides optimized results. This article presents a network flow optimization model to solve the water allocation problem in water resource systems. Managing a water system consists in providing water in the right proportion, at the right place and at the right time. Time expanded network allows to take into consideration the temporal dimension in the decision making. Since linear cost functions on arcs present many limitations and are not realistic, quadratic convex cost functions on arcs are considered here. The optimization algorithm developed herein extend the cycle canceling algorithm developed for linear cost functions. The methodology is applied to manage the three reservoirs of La Haute-Vilaine’s watershed located in the north west of France to protect a three vulnerable areas from flooding. The results obtained with the algorithm are compared to a reference scenario which consists in considering reservoirs transparent. The results show that the algorithm succeeds in managing the reservoir releases efficiently and keeps the flow rates below the vigilance flow in the vulnerable areas.  相似文献

The incorporation of fat in diets for heavy pigs may be necessary in order to increase their energy intake in the finishing period. Lard may be a good lipid source but it contains 10–13% of linoleic acid, which makes the subcutaneous fat less suitable for long term curing of raw ham. Partial hydrogenation of lard decreases linoleic acid content, but increases trans-fatty acid content.

This trial involved two groups of pigs of 114 kg live weight, fed for the last two months before slaughter with diets containing 3% lard (L) or 3% partially hydrogenated lard (PHL). The PHL contained about 10% trans-fatty acids and 2.5% linoleic acid.

Rearing performance and carcass characteristics were unaffected by treatment. The group fed PHL showed a lower percentage of linoleic acid in the backfat (PHL 12.28% vs. L 13.04%) and a higher percentage of C18:1 trans-fatty acids both in backfat (0.5% vs. 0.06%) and in intramuscular fat (0.2% vs. 0.04%).  相似文献

Pyridines of Cs symmetry coordinated to [Pd(bipy)(pyr)2]2+ cations (bipy = 2,2′-bipyridyl; pyr = substituted pyridines) lead to syn and anti isomers due to their perpendicular orientation. Rate constants of synanti isomerizations of [Pd(bipy)(2pic)2]2+ (2pic = 2-methyl-pyridine) have been measured by quantitative 2D-EXSY NMR. Results suggest a dissociative (D) pathway involving an unsaturated 14-electrons PdII intermediate stabilized by γ-agostic interactions. Kinetic isotope effect, activation parameters, and crystal structure of the anti isomer support the D mechanism.  相似文献

We investigated the effects of monensin controlled-release capsule (CRC; Kexxtone, Eli Lilly and Company Ltd., Indianapolis, IN) preventative ketosis treatment on the traditional cheesemaking process as well as the final characteristics of Parmigiano Reggiano (PR) cheese. The use of this prevention product to reduce the incidence of ketosis in transition dairy cows was approved by the European Medicines Agency in 2013. No previous studies are available concerning the effects of this treatment on prolonged-ripening cheese production such as PR. In PR cheese production, feed, feed additives, and cow treatments are strictly regulated to avoid any possible interference with traditional manufacturing processes. For these reasons, on 1 farm where all milk was used for PR cheese production, monensin CRC was administered to 33 cows, 21 d before calving in the monensin-treated group (TRT), whereas untreated cows with similar breed and parity characteristics constituted the control group (CTR). For 20 wk, milk obtained from each group and whey starter were separately managed and transported in the cheese factory, where 2 cheese wheels per group were produced daily, making 552 PR cheese wheels in total. Morning bulk tank milk composition, cheesemaking properties, and whey starter fermentation activities were analyzed twice a week. Every aspect of the cheesemaking process was recorded and the resulting cheese was evaluated after 36 h and 6, 12, and 18 mo from production for yield, texture defects, composition, and fatty acids profile. Milk from the 2 groups differed for somatic cell content (TRT = 3.04 vs. CTR = 4.06, somatic cell score), total bacterial count (TRT = 4.08 vs. CTR = 6.08 × 1,000 cfu/mL), titratable acidity (TRT = 3.66 vs. CTR = 3.72 Soxhlet-Henkel degrees/50 mL), and casein content percentage (TRT = 2.4 vs. CTR = 2.5%). Whey starter parameters were comparable between the 2 groups. Final cheese composition and organoleptic profile were not influenced by the treatment, except for C18:1 content being enhanced (TRT = 22.8 vs. CTR = 20.8% of fatty acids). Percentage of defected ripened cheese was significantly lower in the treated group, both at x-ray evaluation performed at 6 mo (TRT = 6.2 vs. CTR = 12.3%) and at the consortium inspection, performed at 12 mo of ripening (TRT = 1.5 vs. CTR = 6.5%). On the other hand, average cheese yield at 18 mo of ripening was partially reduced (TRT = 7.5 vs. CTR = 7.7%). Overall, the use of monensin CRC had no negative effect on the cheesemaking process, prolonged ripening cheese characteristics, milk composition, or whey starter quality.  相似文献

During a 5-year-period, 17 cases of congenital adenomatoid malformation of the lung were observed in the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Bologna University-S. Orsola-Malpighi Hospital; 16 cases were diagnosed in utero by ultra-sound. 13 patients had prenatal diagnosis between 21 and 23 weeks of gestation; 2 cases were diagnosed at 25 weeks and another one at 26 weeks. The other case came from another hospital, and the diagnosis was accidentally detected postnatally. In 3 cases the parents decided to terminate the pregnancy 3 cases had spontaneous improvement during the last weeks of gestation, and were perfectly normal at birth. One case was lost to follow-up; all remaining patients underwent resection. Among these patients only one was a nonsurvivor, while 9 have completely recovered. However, one patient developed persistent pulmonary hypertension, which could successfully be treated with drugs, another underwent laser treatment for laryngeal stenosis due to intubation. A special epidemiological information: 13 out 17 cases (76.5%) were female.  相似文献

Maize shows wide differences in linoleic acid due both to total lipid content and to fatty acid profile. Therefore, diets containing the same high maize percentage (up to 55%) can differ in linoleic acid content and lead to subcutaneous fats of differing suitability for raw ham curing. Two trials were performed on heavy pigs; in the first, 60 pigs (body weight 48.7 ± 5.1 kg) were fed three diets made using three maize batches differing in linoleic acid due to different total lipid content, in the second trial, 40 pigs (live weight 70.4 ± 3.4 kg) were fed two diets made using two maize batches differing in linoleic acid due to their fatty acid profile. Pigs were slaughtered at 170 kg of live weight. In both trials, the growth and slaughtering performance did not differ. In the first trial the three diets lead to a different content of linoleic acid both in subcutaneous (low linoleic vs medium linoleic vs high linoleic P  0.01) and intramuscular fat (low linoleic vs high linoleic P  0.05). In the second trial different linoleic acid content was observed for subcutaneous fat (P  0.01) but not for intramuscular fat. To formulate diets for heavy pigs, it is crucial to know the linoleic acid content of the maize used, because differences of only 0.3% can lead to significant differences in fatty acids composition of depot fats.  相似文献
