通过对活性炭载体进行不同条件的超声波处理获得了具有不同表面化学性质的载体,使用比表面积(BET)、酸碱滴定等技术手段对载体的物理化学性质进行了表征。将经过超声波处理的活性炭载体制备成Pt/C催化剂,并将催化剂直接用于催化反应,考察了活性炭载体的不同超声波处理条件对Pt/C催化剂性能的影响。实验发现,活性炭载体经过超声波处理后,表面灰分含量、pH值和中孔孔容有较大的变化;使用经过60min超声波处理后中孔孔容较大的活性炭作为载体制备的Pt/C催化剂,在催化加氢反应性能测试中显示了最高的催化活性。在此基础上,就活性炭载体的超声波处理对Pt/C催化剂活性的影响进行了讨论。  相似文献

In the period February 1994 to November 1995 11 laparoscopic adrenalectomies were performed at our institution (seven women, four men). A transperitoneal approach was used in both right- and left-sided operations. Results were collected retrospectively. Indications for surgery were: Conn's syndrome (four), Cushing's syndrome (two), phaecromocytoma (four), and incidentaloma (one). The operations took median 170 minutes (range 105-250 minutes). Median size of the tumour was 4 cm range 1(1/2)-5 cm). No significant peri- or postoperative complications were recorded. The patients were discharged from the surgical unit median two days after surgery. Laparoscopic operation emerges as an alternative to open operation when dealing with smaller adrenal tumours. Because of the small number of patients, these operations have to be restricted to a few centres where both internists, anaesthesiologists and surgeons with expertise in this field are found.  相似文献

The degradation of herbicides 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (4-CPA), 4-chloro-2-methylphenoxyacetic acid (MCPA), 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T) in aqueous medium of pH 3.0 has been comparatively studied by anodic oxidation and electro-Fenton using a boron-doped diamond (BDD) anode. All solutions are totally mineralized by electro-Fenton, even at low current, being the process more efficient with 1 mM Fe2+ as catalyst. This is due to the production of large amounts of oxidant hydroxyl radical (OH) on the BDD surface by water oxidation and from Fenton’s reaction between added Fe2+ and H2O2 electrogenerated at the O2-diffusion cathode. The herbicide solutions are also completely depolluted by anodic oxidation. Although a quicker degradation is found at the first stages of electro-Fenton, similar times are required for achieving overall mineralization in both methods. The decay kinetics of all herbicides always follows a pseudo first-order reaction. Reversed-phase chromatography allows detecting 4-chlorophenol, 4-chloro-o-cresol, 2,4-dichlorophenol and 2,4,5-trichlorophenol as primary aromatic intermediates of 4-CPA, MCPA, 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T, respectively. Dechlorination of these products gives Cl, which is slowly oxidized on BDD. Ion-exclusion chromatography reveals the presence of persistent oxalic acid in electro-Fenton by formation of Fe3+-oxalato complexes, which are slowly destroyed by OH adsorbed on BDD. In anodic oxidation, oxalic acid is mineralized practically at the same rate as generated.  相似文献

Pulse crops are cool season, annually grown legume crops, which are harvested for their seeds. They are invaluable agricultural commodities which are produced and imported by many regions of the world. Pulse seeds are a valuable source of dietary protein, carbohydrates, fiber and an important source of essential vitamins and minerals. Their nutritional characteristics have been associated with a reduction in the incidence of various cancers, HDL cholesterol, type-2 diabetes and heart disease. Pulses also contain protein and non-protein antinutritional factors, which may cause deleterious effects on the host when the seeds or processed seeds are consumed raw. Conversely, recent studies have demonstrated that protein antinutritional compounds such as lectins, protease inhibitors and the non-antinutritional component, angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor may have beneficial properties. Lectins have been associated with reducing certain forms of cancer, activating innate defense mechanisms and managing obesity. Protease inhibitors such as trypsin and chymotrypsin inhibitors have been demonstrated to reduce the incidence of certain cancers and demonstrate potent anti-inflammatory properties. Angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor has been associated with a reduction in hypertension.  相似文献

Heat transfer characteristics during flow boiling in micro channels with rectangular cross section were studied using a thermographic measuring method. The characteristic length of the channels investigated was varied in a region of 300 w m up to 700 w m. The channels were designed as Joule heating pipes. Thus, the evaporation was achieved under conditions of nearly constant heat fluxes at the heating wall of the channel. The thermographic measuring method was used to examine the wall temperature. The high spatial and temporal resolution of this thermographic measuring method makes it possible to detect the axial position of the different boiling regions. Furthermore, it allows conclusions to be made on which flow conditions occur in the different sections of the channel. Experimental results are shown with water and n -heptane as the fluid to be vaporized. The results of measurements are discussed and a correlation is given of the location where the dryout starts with the characteristic parameters. The dependence of the pressure drop in such channels on the technological parameters has also been presented.  相似文献

Wheat-legume composite flours were produced by blending Canada Western Extra Strong (CWES) and Canada Western Red Spring (CWRS) wheat with varying amounts of three legume proteins. Legume protein addition produced breads with lower specific loaf volume, coarser crumb and firmer texture, and cooked white-salted noodles with greater compression stress and less cutting stress than the wheat controls. The CWES wheat compensated for the negative baking effects of the legume proteins as much as the CWRS wheat. End-use quality did not change at 2% soybean protein addition. Yellow pea protein produced the greatest quality changes, followed by chickpea and soybean protein.  相似文献

The authors hypothesized that repeated rewarding electrical stimulation of the dorsal raphe can produce behavioral sensitization to psychostimulants. Groups of male rats were implanted with a stimulation electrode and preexposed to brain stimulation at parameters set to equate rewarding effectiveness across rats. Control groups were implanted with an electrode but never stimulated, or not implanted at all. Twenty-four hours after the 12th self-stimulation session, all groups were challenged with amphetamine (0.5 mg/kg, ip), nicotine (0.2 mg/kg, sc), or saline, and locomotor activity was measured for 1 hr. Locomotor responses to amphetamine and to nicotine were significantly greater in rats preexposed to brain stimulation. These findings suggest at least partial overlap of underlying substrates. Despite their demonstrated health benefits, consumption of pulses in Western societies has traditionally been low. This is, in part, due to the perception that pulses cause flatulence and gastrointestinal upset. This randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled, cross-over study assessed the impact of 28 consecutive days consumption of 100 g dry weight Kabuli chickpeas, green Laird lentils, and green peas, in comparison to a potato control, on perceived flatulence, abdominal comfort, bowel movements and overall gastrointestinal function using a questionnaire with yes/no and visual analog rankings, in 21 healthy males between the ages of 19–40. Questionnaires were completed during three phases (PRE, EARLY, LATE) of each treatment period. Chi-square (occurrence) and Wilcoxon test (severity rank) analyses revealed minor changes in occurrence and/or severity of flatulence and abdominal comfort, but no changes in overall gastrointestinal function. These results demonstrate that pulses containing oligosaccharides are well tolerated with negligible perceived changes in flatulence and overall gastrointestinal function when incorporated into the diet of healthy adult males.  相似文献
