Applicability of thin-layer headspace (TLHS) procedure giving an aqueous concentrate and also classical purge and trap (PT) in off-line mode to isolate and enrich volatile organohalogen compounds in common beverages was tested. Both enrichment tech-niques were used in combination with gas chromatography – electron capture detection (GC-ECD). TLHS, combined with direct aqueous injection (DAI)-GC-ECD, proved applicable in the determination of volatile organohalogen compounds in all studied beverages, while the PT in a version with no preliminary sample pre-treatment was of limited applicability. Detection limits of the TLHS-based procedure were in the order of 1 ppt. Content of volatile organohalogen compounds in a number of beverages available on the Polish market including mineral waters, beers, juices, carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks, etc. was determined by means of TLHS-DAI-GC-ECD.  相似文献

The various complex mathematical transformations previously proposed for eliminating methodological errors of multicolor radiation pyrometry are mainly reduced to the determination of such combinations of wavelengths or corrections of registered brightness for the spectral distribution of the radiating capacity of the object being thermometered at which its equivalent radiating capacity is equal to unity. Mathematical formulas of the determining parameters of multicolor pyrometry of radiation have been obtained. Engineering techniques for calculating the critical values of the determining and adjustable parameters at which the application of multicolor optical thermometry is excluded because of large errors have been developed. Algorithms of a priori and a posteriori calibration systems of multicolor pyrometry of radiation of objects with practically any spectral distribution of the radiating capacity are proposed.  相似文献

Previous studies report that background luminance flicker, which is asynchronous with signal averaging, reduces the amplitude and increases the latency of the pattern-onset visual evoked potential (VEP). This effect has been attributed to saturation of the magnocellular (m-) pathway by the flicker stimulus. In the current study, we evaluate this hypothesis and further characterize this effect. We found that flicker had similar effects on the pattern-onset and pattern-reversal VEP, suggesting that the reversal and onset responses have similar generators. Chromatic flicker decreased latency of the chromatic VEP whereas luminance flicker increased peak latency to luminance targets. This result indicates that luminance flicker saturates a rapidly conducting m-pathway whereas chromatic flicker saturates a more slowly conducting parvocellular (p-) pathway. Finally, evoked potentials to chromatic and luminance stimuli were recorded from 34 electrodes over the scalp in the presence of static and asynchronously modulated backgrounds. An equivalent dipole model was used to assess occipital, parietal, and temporal lobe components of the surface response topography. Results showed that chromatic flicker reduced activity to a greater extent in the ventral visual pathway whereas luminance flicker reduced activity to a greater extent in the dorsal visual pathway to parietal lobe. We conclude that the VEP to isoluminant color and luminance stimuli contains both m- and p-pathway components. Asynchronous flicker can be used to selectively reduce the contribution of these pathways to the surface recorded VEP. Our results provide evidence of parallel pathways in the human visual system, with a dorsal luminance channel projecting predominantly to the posterior parietal lobe and a ventral color channel projecting predominantly to inferior temporal lobe.  相似文献

Summary Systematic studies on solution properties of ultrahigh molecular weight polymers showed the existence of some special features as compared to usual length polymers. The paper discusses the possible appearance of branched structures in the polymerization process, structures able to influence the mentioned features. From experimental data on poly(methyl methacrylate), poly(butyl methacrylate) and polyacrylonitrile it appears that branching can be excluded, and the very high molecular weight domain considered may be responsible for the modifications observed in the molecular weight dependences on 2>, A2 or [].  相似文献

Summary The paper deals with the synthesis of the phenylazo-formamidoethyl 4-t-butylazo-4-cyanovalerate, a product which — by its two azo groups having different thermal stabilities — may be used in initiating processes of stepwise radicalic polymerization. The preparation is based on the condensation of the 4-t-butylazo-4-cyanovaleric acid chloride with N-hydroxy ethyl-phenylazoformamide (HEPF) in anhydrous chloroform, in the presence of pyridine. The initiator purification involves its passing over an alumina column, on using methylene chloride as eluent. HEPF is a new intermediate obtained by the reaction of the ethyl phenylazocarboxylate with ethanolamine. Both the HEPF structure and that of the bis-azo initiator is confirmed by elemental analysis and spectroscopic measurements (IR and H-NMR spectra), as well.  相似文献

Summary Three new phenothiazine-containing electrono-donor monomers: methacryloyl-2-hydroxyethyl-2-(N-phenothiazinyl)propionate (i) acryloyl-2-hydroxyethyl-2-(N-phenothiazinyl) propionate (ii) and 2-(N-phenothiazinyl) propionic acid vinyl ester (iii) were synthesized and radically polymerized. The ionization potentials of poly(i), poly(iii) and of the model for the structural unit of the acrylic polymers: acetyl-2-hydroxyethyl-2-(N-phenothiazinyl) propionate determined with two small acceptors were discussed in terms of sterical hindrances.  相似文献

In this paper we present a novel colorization scheme that takes advantage of the modified morphological distance transform to propagate the color, scribbled by a user on the grayscale image. First, based on the scribbled image, the topological distance values are computed for each image pixel, describing its distance to the inserted color markers. These values are then complemented with the structural information and luminance changes derived from the original grayscale image. The distances are then used along with gradient based features to reproduce original image structures while propagating the new colors obtained during the additive color blending process. Extensive experiments performed on various kinds of natural images demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed colorization method. They also showed that the main advantage of the presented algorithm is its computational speed and ability to produce visually pleasing colorization results promptly after providing the color information.  相似文献
