Area decomposition for electromechanical models of power systems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Coherency and time scale properties of power system models are shown to be related by the dichotomic solution of a matrix Riccati equation. A grouping algorithm is proposed which reduces the area decomposition problem to obtaining a basis for the slow subsystem and performing a Gaussian elimination. Since the slow coherency measure allows for a lack of coherency in fast parts of machine transients, the resulting area decomposition is independent of fault locations. The procedure is illustrated by a 16-machine example.  相似文献

This paper describes an application of the Cascade-Correlation (CC) network to pattern recognition. The pattern recognition task was to simulate an automatic vision inspection system that had to properly classify five different objects. The feature vectors were extracted from 2D images of circularly scanned images and used as inputs for a neural network that was then trained to classify an unknown presented object. The results show that the CC network is viable tool in pattern recognition tasks. It is able to classify partially occluded objects with high accuracy, and to considerably improve classification of noisy images based on simple histogram trimming preprocessing.  相似文献

The antimony film carbon paste electrode (SbF-CPE) was prepared in situ on the carbon paste substrate electrode as a “mercury-free” electrochemical sensor. Its aptitude for measuring some selected trace heavy metals has been demonstrated in combination with square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry in non-deaerated model solutions of 0.01 M hydrochloric acid with pH 2. Some important operational parameters, such as deposition potential, deposition time, and concentration of antimony ions were optimized, and the electroanalytical performance of the SbF-CPE was critically compared with both bismuth film carbon paste electrode (BiF-CPE) and mercury film carbon paste electrode (MF-CPE) using Cd(II) and Pb(II) as test metal ions. In comparison with BiF-CPE and MF-CPE, the SbF-CPE exhibited superior electroanalytical performance in more acidic medium (pH 2) associated with favorably low hydrogen evolution, improved stripping response for Cd(II), and moreover, stripping signals corresponding to Cd(II) and Pb(II) at the SbF-CPE were slightly narrower than those observed at bismuth and mercury counterparts. In addition, the comparison with antimony film electrode prepared at the glassy carbon substrate electrode displayed higher stripping current response recorded at the SbF-CPE. The newly developed sensor revealed highly linear behavior in the examined concentration range from 5 to 50 μg L−1, with limits of detection (3σ) of 0.8 μg L−1 for Cd(II), and 0.2 μg L−1 for Pb(II) in connection with 120 s deposition step, offering good reproducibility of ±3.8% for Cd(II), and ±1.2% for Pb(II) (30 μg L−1, n = 10). Preliminary experiments disclosed that SbF-CPE and MF-CPE exhibit comparable performance for measuring trace concentration levels of Zn(II) in acidic medium with pH 2, whereas its detection with BiF-CPE was practically impossible. Finally, the practical applicability of SbF-CPE was demonstrated via measuring Cd(II) and Pb(II) in a real water sample.  相似文献

A method for synthesis of digital bandpass and bandstop filters obtained by parallel connection of two allpass networks, is considered. A procedure is based on allpass network linear phase approximation at three levels in mini-max sense, which enables obtaining of selectivedigital filters in form of elliptic filters with linear phase in both passband and stopband.  相似文献

When modelling the fracture toughness of the investigated AISI M2 high‐speed steel, the stress‐modified critical strain criterion was used. The very important influence of microstructural parameters such as the volume fraction of undissolved eutectic carbides, their mean diameter, and the mean distance between the carbides, as well as the volume fraction of retained austenite in the matrix, was also taken into account. The influence of yield stress and fracture ductility was expressed in terms of the hardness of the steel. It was found that the plastic zone which develops, during fracture toughness measurements, ahead of the fatigue crack tip, was, as a rule, smaller than the prior austenite grain size, so that, in the case of the investigated high‐speed steel, the size of these grains did not have any influence on the measured fracture toughness value. However, importantly, the calculated fracture toughness values, which were derived using a newly developed semi‐empirical equation, agreed well with the experimental results obtained by the authors, as well as with results obtained by other authors.  相似文献

In this paper, three kinds of explicit local meshless methods are compared: the local method of approximate particular solutions (LMAPS), the local direct radial basis function collocation method (LDRBFCM) which are both first presented in this paper, and the local indirect radial basis function collocation method (LIRBFCM). In all three methods, the time discretization is performed in explicit way, the multiquadric radial basis functions (RBFs) are used to interpolate either initial temperature field and its derivatives or the Laplacian of the initial temperature field. The five-noded sub-domains are used in localization. Numerical results of simple diffusion equation with Dirichlet jump boundary condition are compared on uniform and random node arrangement, the accuracy and stabilities of these three local meshless methods are asserted. One can observe that the improvement of the accuracy with denser nodes and with smaller time steps for all three methods. All methods provide a similar accuracy in uniform node arrangement case. For random node arrangement, the LMAPS and the LDRBFCM perform better than the LIDRBFCM.  相似文献

A mechanistic study to provide diagnostics of anodic stripping electrode processes at bismuth-film electrodes is presented from both theoretical and experimental points of view. Theoretical models for three types of electrode mechanisms are developed under conditions of square-wave voltammetry, combining rigorous modeling based on integral equations and the step function method, resulting in derivation of a single numerical recurrent formula to predict the outcome of the voltammetric experiment. In the course of the deposition step, it has been assumed that a uniform film of the metal analyte is formed on the bismuth substrate, in situ deposited onto a glassy carbon electrode surface, without considering mass transfer within either the bismuth or the metal analyte film. Theoretical data are analyzed in terms of dimensionless critical parameters related with electrode kinetics, mass transfer, adsorption equilibria, and possible lateral interactions within the deposited metal particles. Theoretical analysis enables definition of simple criteria for differentiation and characterization of electrode processes. Comparing theoretical and experimental data, anodic stripping processes of zinc(II), cadmium(II), and lead(II) are successfully characterized, revealing significant differences in their reaction pathways. The proposed easy-to-perform diagnostic route is considered to be of a general use while the bismuth film exploited in this study served as a convenient nonmercury model substrate surface.  相似文献

The main objective of this research was to perform an exposure assessment of aflatoxins intake through consumption of maize products in Serbia, Croatia, and Greece. Food consumption survey of maize-based products has been performed during 2017 in the three countries with at least 1,000 interviewees per country covering their dietary habits and body weight. Values for the concentration of aflatoxins were extracted from available research published in the last ten years. Finally, a Monte Carlo analysis of 100,000 iterations was performed to estimate the intake of aflatoxins from consumption of maize-based products. Results revealed that the estimated average exposure of adults to aflatoxins, from maize consumption, in each of the three countries was between 0.44 ng kg?1 bw day?1 and 5.59 ng kg?1 bw day?1. Margin of exposure values for the mean exposure levels, in all three countries, were between 30 and 389. Estimations for hepatocellular carcinoma cases/year/105 individuals, depending on the HBsAg+ prevalence, were 0.075–0.098, 0.006–0.008 and 0.020–0.026 for Serbia, Croatia and Greece, respectively.  相似文献

The mixing and segregation behaviour of binary solid mixtures has been extensively studied through various experiments, while accurate CFD simulations are difficult to achieve due to process complexity and a lack of reliable constitutive relations. In this study, CFD simulations of a dense fluidized bed with glass and polystyrene particles were performed in order to identify a universal set of simulation parameters and models for simulating binary mixtures with different mixed and segregation behaviour. Through a comparison to experimental data, it was found that the EMMS drag model coupled with the Ma-Ahmadi solid pressure and radial distribution models predicted more a reasonable axial distribution of solid phases than the Syamlal O'Brien drag model coupled with the Lun et al. solid pressure and radial distribution models. The increase in the solid-solid drag further improved the simulation results.  相似文献

Various regulations, aimed at the protection of human beings and electrical equipment against possible adverse effects resulting from exposure to electromagnetic fields, have been issued in many countries. Most of them are based on safety guidelines published by international expert groups. In this paper, electric and magnetic fields are calculated in the vicinity of 25 kV traction line supplying railway traction systems. Calculation results are compared to exposure limits specified by safety guidelines and regulations. Possible countermeasures for reduction of electromagnetic fields are proposed. Also, this paper presents a method for calculation of the induced voltages to an underground gas pipeline from a neighbouring 25 kV electric traction overhead line in case of short circuit. Calculations are performed with EMTP-ATP software. Possible countermeasures for reduction of induced voltages are proposed.  相似文献
