Restoration of the photographs damaged by the camera shake is a challenging task that manifested increasing attention in the recent period. Despite of the important progress of the blind deconvolution techniques, due to the ill-posed nature of the problem, the finest details of the kernel blur cannot be recovered entirely. Moreover, the additional constraints and prior assumptions make these approaches to be relative limited.
In this paper we introduce a novel technique that removes the undesired blur artifacts from photographs taken by hand-held digital cameras. Our approach is based on the observation that in general several consecutive photographs taken by the users share image regions that project the same scene content. Therefore, we took advantage of additional sharp photographs of the same scene. Based on several invariant local feature points, filtered from the given blurred/non-blurred images, our approach matches the keypoints and estimates the blur kernel using additional statistical constraints.
We also present a simple deconvolution technique that preserves edges while minimizing the ringing artifacts in the restored latent image. The experimental results prove that our technique is able to infer accurately the blur kernel while reducing significantly the artifacts of the spoilt images.  相似文献

Betulinic acid, a very promising anti-melanoma agent, has very low water solubility that causes low bioavailability. To overcome this inconvenience, a highly water-soluble cyclodextrin was used (octakis-[6-deoxy-6-(2-sulfanyl ethanesulfonic acid)]-γ-cyclodextrin). The complex was physico-chemically analyzed using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) methods and then in vitro tested for its antiproliferative activity by the MTT assay and by cell cycle analysis. Finally, the complex was tested in vivo using an animal model of murine melanoma developed in C57BL/6J mice, where it caused a reduction in tumor volume and weight. The study revealed the beneficial influence of betulinic acid inclusion into the cyclodextrin in terms of antiproliferative activity and in vivo tumor development.  相似文献

Osteonecrosis of the jaws (ONJ) usually has a clear etiology. Local infection or trauma, radiotherapy and drugs that disrupt the vascular supply or bone turnover in the jaws are its major contributors. The thrombotic occlusion of the bone’s venous outflow that occurs in individuals with hereditary thrombophilia and/or hypofibrinolysis has a less known impact on jaw health and healing capability. Our research provides the most comprehensive, up-to-date and systematized information on the prevalence and significance of hereditary thrombophilia and/or hypofibrinolysis states in ONJ. We found that hereditary prothrombotic abnormalities are common in patients with ONJ refractory to conventional medical and dental treatments. Thrombophilia traits usually coexist with hypofibrinolysis traits. We also found that frequently acquired prothrombotic abnormalities coexist with hereditary ones and enhance their negative effect on the bone. Therefore, we recommend a personalized therapeutic approach that addresses, in particular, the modifiable risk factors of ONJ. Patients will have clear benefits, as they will be relieved of persistent pain and repeated dental procedures.  相似文献

Clinical trials have evidenced that several natural compounds, belonging to the phytochemical classes of alkaloids, terpenes, phenols and flavonoids, are effective for the management of various types of cancer. Latest research has proven that natural products and their semisynthetic variants may serve as a starting point for new drug candidates with a diversity of biological and pharmacological activities, designed to improve bioavailability, overcome cellular resistance, and enhance therapeutic efficacy. This review was designed to bring an update regarding the anticancer potential of betulonic acid and its semisynthetic derivatives. Chemical derivative structures of betulonic acid including amide, thiol, and piperidine groups, exert an amplification of the in vitro anticancer potential of betulonic acid. With the need for more mechanistic and in vivo data, some derivatives of betulonic acids may represent promising anticancer agents.  相似文献

We report on the homogeneity, structural and luminescence properties of ceria nanoparticles doped with Eu3+. Eu3+ in concentration of 1, 5 and 10 wt% was incorporated via wetness impregnation into preformed ceria nanoparticles followed by calcination in air at 1000 °C. A remarkable homogeneity of Eu3+-ceria solid solutions is measured for ceria grown by citrate and micro-emulsion methods using Raman, Diffuse Reflectance in UV–Vis, photoluminescence spectroscopies and X-ray diffraction, even for the Eu3+ concentration of 10 wt%. The emission properties of all Eu3+-doped ceria samples are well-characterized by a two main centre model assigned to perturbed and isolated Eu3+ centres. These centres correspond to Eu3+ located in the nearest (local symmetry lower than cubic and Eu3+-oxygen coordination lower than eight) and next-nearest-neighbour positions (cubic local symmetry and eightfold Eu3+-oxygen coordination) to oxygen vacancy, respectively. With increase of Eu3+ concentration, both the oxygen vacancy concentration and the relative contribution of the perturbed Eu3+ centre to the total emission increase. It is established that the characteristic emission and excitation spectra of the two main Eu3+ centres as well as the overall multisite distribution of Eu3+ within ceria lattice are intrinsic properties of Eu3+-doped ceria since these do not depend on synthesis route, nanoparticle size and Eu3+ concentration.  相似文献

This article introduces a control strategy to obtain near-maximum available torque in a wide speed range with sensorless operation via the active flux concept for permanent magnet-reluctance synchronous motor drives. A new torque dq current reference calculator is proposed, with reference torque limited by the torque/speed envelope and by maximum current constraint. This solution approximates the maximum torque per ampere below base speed and also in the flux-weakening region, where voltage limitations impose constraints on the allowable dq currents with less computational effort. Comprehensive digital simulation results (1–6000 rpm) and experimental results (50–3000 rpm at low inverter available DC voltage of 12 Vdc instead of 48 Vdc) demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed sensorless control strategy in a wide speed range, with stable and reliable operations up to a speed equal to eight times the machine base speed (constant power speed range = 8).  相似文献

Origanum vulgare L. is a widely used aromatic plant, especially due to its content in essential oil, mainly rich in carvacrol and thymol. The ethnopharmacological uses of Origanum vulgare L. essential oil (OEO) comprise digestive, respiratory, or dermatological disorders. The review focuses on the increasing number of recent studies investigating several biological activities of OEO. The bioactivities are in tight relation to the phytochemical profile of the essential oil, and also depend on taxonomic, climatic, and geographical characteristics of the plant material. The antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, skin disorders beneficial effects, next to antihyperglycemic and anti-Alzheimer activities were reported and confirmed in multiple studies. Moreover, recent studies indicate a positive impact on skin disorders of OEO formulated as nanocarrier systems in order to improve its bioavailability and, thus, enhancing its therapeutic benefits. The review brings an up to date regarding the phytochemistry and bioactivity of Origanum vulgare L. essential oil, underlining also the most successful pharmaceutical formulation used for skin disorders.  相似文献

The development of systems for targeted delivery of Sorafenib in unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma to reduce the systemic toxicity is a challenge. In our article, we successfully prepared core-shell microcapsules based on bovine serum albumin gel with polyelectrolyte complex multilayer shell of polysaccharides with opposite charges, hyaluronic acid, and chitosan, encapsulating Sorafenib, as targeting delivery system for improved hepatocellular carcinoma therapy. A bovine serum albumin gel core was formed by a method based on a sacrificial CaCO3 template, followed by the multilayer shell build-up of Ca2+ cross-linked hyaluronic acid hydrogel, and subsequently alternating multilayers of the polyelectrolyte complex formed between hyaluronic acid and chitosan. The following techniques: Fourier-transform infrared and UV–Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, confocal laser scanning microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy were used for the physicochemical characterization. These tests revealed the spherical shape of core-shell type, the micro-size, as well as the composition of microcapsules after their synthesis and proved the successful encapsulation and release of the drug. The promising results regarding encapsulation efficiency, Sorafenib release profile and cytotoxicity on HepG2 and mesenchymal stem cells, recommend Sorafenib loaded microcapsules as suitable targeted drug carriers for further in vivo studies for hepatocellular carcinoma therapy.  相似文献

Genistein is one of the most studied phytocompound in the class of isoflavones, presenting a notable estrogenic activity and in vitro and/or in vivo benefits in different types of cancer such as those of the bladder, kidney, lung, pancreatic, skin and endometrial cancer. A big inconvenience for drug development is low water solubility, which can be solved by using hydrophilic cyclodextrins. The aim of this study is to theoretically analyze, based on the interaction energy, the possibility of a complex formation between genistein (Gen) and three different ramified cyclodextrins (CD), using a 1:1 molar ratio Gen:CD. Theoretical data were correlated with a screening of both in vitro and in vivo activity. Proliferation of different human cancer cell lines, antimicrobial activity and angiogenesis behavior was analyzed in order to see if complexation has a beneficial effect for any of the above mentioned activities and if so, which of the three CDs is the most suitable for the incorporation of genistein, and which may lead to future improved pharmaceutical formulations. Results showed antiproliferative activity with different IC50 values for all tested cell lines, remarkable antimicrobial activity on Bacillus subtilis and antiangiogenic activity as revealed by CAM assay. Differences regarding the intensity of the activity for pure and the three Gen complexes were noticed as explained in the text. The data represent a proof that the three CDs can be used for furtherer research towards practical use in the pharmaceutical and medical field.  相似文献
