Results are presented from selection of the parameters of a diatomite suspension for obtaining foam-diatomite products by
HCBS technology. It is established that the use of HCBS technology makes it possible to reduce the moisture content of the
diatomite suspension from 63 to 54%. Specimens cast from the suspension are 3 – 4 times stronger than comparable materials

In contrast to the known refractory plastic mixtures that possess certain drawbacks the authors pose the problem of preparing
similar mixtures with HCBS under the assumption that by using HCBS of an acid or acid-amphoteric composition plasticized by
a refractory clay it is possible to improve the characteristics of this group of unshaped refractories (to reduce the shrinkage
due to drying and heat treatment and the porosity and increase the strength). The properties of mixtures based on Nizhne-Uvelskoe
clay as a plasticizer of plastic refractory mixtures arc described.

Aspects of the modification of refractory concretes with different grades of Ludox nanosilica are discussed. It was established
that the addition of nanosilica TMA to the binder in amounts no greater than 25% of the binder’s weight increases the strength
of medium-cement concretes and alleviates their softening. The grade of nanosilica that is optimum for super-low-cement concretes

The properties of coal concentrates are determined: the technical analysis, clinkering properties, petrographic and elementary analysis, and the product yields in coking. Structural characteristics of the coal’s organic mass are also calculated. The results obtained for Kuznetsk Basin coal are subjected to mathematical analysis. Rheological properties of bauxite HCBS plasticized with refractory clay are studied in the yield state and the solid state. Specimens are prepared from the plasticized suspension with an optimum clay addition (5%), with a open porosity of 24.5% and a bending strength of 65 MPa (after heat treatment at 1300°C). A relation is revealed between the rheological properties and physicomechanical characteristics of plastic masses. The plastic masses studied can be used as matrices for fabrication of unmolded refractory materials. 相似文献
