The black layer was generated underneath the anode when a gold-electroded silver metaphosphate glass, a silver-ion conductor, was dc biased with 500 V/cm or 250 V/cm at 140°C . It was concluded that this layer corresponded to the silver-depleted region formed by conduction of the silver ions towards the cathode. The blackening was ascribed to be due to the shortened Ag-O distance, caused by structural rearrangement within the region into the P2O5-like structure on biasing.  相似文献

Vanadium dioxide (VO2) films have been proposed as energy efficient window coatings for their thermochromism, with which the solar energy transmission in the IR region may be controlled passively. These coatings suffer from low visible (or luminous) transmission (380–760 nm in wavelength), which hinders their practical uses. We here consider an antireflection (AR) coating for the VO2-based window. Optical calculation was first performed upon a basic structure for thermochromic window composed of a VO2 layer on glass with an AR layer of refractive index n and thickness d. Optimization was carried out on n and d for a maximum integrated luminous transmittance (Tlum). The calculation demonstrates that the optimal n value changes with thickness of VO2, and at n≈2.2 it gives the highest Tlum enhancement from 32% (without AR coating) to 55% for 50-nm VO2. Experiment was done on a structure of 50-nm VO2 on quartz glass using ZrO2, of which n≈2.2 matching the best n value, as AR coating. Formation of an optimized structure, ZrO2 (56 nm)/VO2 (50 nm)/quartz, was done by sputtering, and its optical properties were characterized with spectrophotometry. An improvement of Tlum from 32.3% to 50.5% was confirmed for the semiconductor phase with similarity also for the metallic one. The IR switching properties were not much deteriorated.  相似文献

For full understanding of the optical properties of alumina ceramics which are used as a substrate of thin film c-Si solar cells, we carried out computer simulations of diffuse reflectance and measurements of angle-resolved reflectance. As the result of the computer simulations, we obtained a theoretical expression for the reflectance properties of alumina ceramics with flat surface. The expression can be applied for the measured reflectance of alumina ceramics with rough surface when an effect of surface condition was taken into account.  相似文献

Some of the heat mirrors, which have high transmittance in the visible region and high reflectance in the infrared, consist of three thin titanium compound stacked films, TiO2/TiN/TiO2 on glass substrate. TiO2 is known to have excellent photo-catalytic properties and the top layer may be expected to work as a photo-catalyst as well as the anti-reflection coating. However, strong thickness dependence of the photo-catalytic properties has been reported and the optimum thickness of the top layer for the heat mirror was too thin for the photo-catalytic properties for decomposition of acetaldehyde gas. In this report, we show a possibility to realize a multi-functional heat mirror which shows the photo-catalytic and heat mirror effects simultaneously by optical calculation and preliminary experiments. We found top TiO2 thickness of 350–400 nm or about 1170 nm showed high heat mirror performance. This thickness was enough to show the photo-catalytic properties.  相似文献

Limited information is available regarding the histology of hepatitis C virus infection in children. The aim of this study was to determine the histological pattern of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) in children, and liver biopsy specimens from 109 pediatric patients with CHC were examined. Each biopsy specimen was evaluated based on a numerical scoring system for the stage of fibrosis (1-4), the grade of portal/periportal necroinflammation (0-4), the grade of lobular necroinflammation (0-4), and their sum (final grade). The histological lesions considered to be characteristic of chronic hepatitis were also evaluated. None of the children had liver cirrhosis, and 105 cases (97%) were stage 1 or 2. Only 4 children were stage 3. Two of these 4 cases showed hemosiderosis. A significant correlation was observed between the staging score and the final grade in the pediatric patients (r = .59; P < .0001). The histological characteristics of adult CHC, such as lymphoid aggregate, bile duct injury, and fatty changes, were also observed in the children. In conclusion, the majority of children with CHC presented with mild fibrosis, but a few showed CHC with lobular distortion and hemosiderosis. Frequent blood transfusion may aggravate hepatic lesions in pediatric CHC.  相似文献

The neuronal pathways responsible for the fast inhibitory postsynaptic potentials (IPSPs) elicited in principal cells in the pyriform cortex (PC) by volleys from the olfactory bulb (OB), the lateral olfactory tract (LOT), the anterior commissure (AC), and the deep-lying structures of the PC (DPC) were studied in the rabbit. The central latencies of the fast IPSPs (measured from the onset of the monosynaptic excitatory postsynaptic potential (EPSP) elicited by volleys through the LOT) ranged between 3.0 and 9.3 ms (5.5 +/- 1.3 (SD) ms; n = 54) in the case of OB shocks and between 4.5 and 6.5 ms (5.1 +/- 0.7 (SD) ms; n = 7) in the case of LOT shocks. The onset latencies of the fast IPSPs were between 2.5 and 11.8 ms (5.1 +/- 1.8 (SD) ms; n = 66) in the case of DPC shocks and between 3.5 and 10.1 ms (5.8 +/- 1.5 (SD) ms; n = 61) in the case of AC shocks. The conditioning OB or LOT shocks almost completely eliminated the LOT-evoked fast IPSP when the testing shock was applied at the peak period of the conditioning slow IPSP. The conditioning OB shocks also eliminated the initial part of the OB-evoked fast IPSP, leaving the later part of the fast IPSP almost unchanged. Thus, the onset latency of the OB-evoked fast IPSP was lengthened by 7.1 +/- 2.9 (SD) ms (n = 35) by the conditioning OB shock. The conditioning OB or DPC shocks left the peak amplitude of the DPC-evoked fast IPSP almost unaffected. Similarly, the conditioning OB or AC shocks left the peak amplitude of the AC-evoked fast IPSP almost unaffected. The conditioning OB, DPC, or AC shocks had only a slight influence on the onset latency of the DPC- or AC-evoked fast IPSPs. Rhythmical steps at intervals of 3-5 ms were observed in the rising phase of the OB-evoked fast IPSP. This was interpreted as a result of a repetitive impingement of interneuronal discharges on the impaled cells. Spatial facilitation was observed among the fast IPSPs evoked by volleys from the OB, DPC, and AC when shocks were applied at suitable intervals. A slight facilitation was also seen between the LOT-evoked fast IPSP and the DPC- or AC-evoked fast IPSP. These results were interpreted as a result of the convergence of excitatory synaptic inputs onto the presumed inhibitory interneurons from the four structures of the brain. A temporal facilitation of the fast IPSPs was observed when the OB, DPC, or AC shocks were applied repetitively at short intervals. This suggests a temporal facilitation of the spike discharges of the presumed inhibitory interneurons under similar conditions. From these results, criteria were determined for identifying the inhibitory interneurons.  相似文献

The crack propagation behavior in delayed fracture was investigated at room temperature under pressure up to 784 kPa of hydrogen gas for high strength steels with the tensile strength of 1500 or 2000 MPa. For specimens with the tensile strength of 1500 MPa, the crack propagation rateda/dt increased with C content from 0.21 to 0.42 wt pct, and then it decreased with increasing C content up to 0.53 wt pct.da/dt increased rapidly with Mn content from 0.009 to 0.84 wt pct, and it increased gradually with Mn content from 0.84 to 2.13 wt pct. The permeation flow of hydrogen from the crack tip surface could be qualitatively estimated from the dependence ofda /dt upon the hydrogen pressure based on the simple assumption. In addition to the grain boundary embrittlement caused by tempering and/or hydrogen, the permeation flow of hydrogen was used to explain qualitatively the dependence ofda/dt upon C or Mn content.  相似文献

A simple and rapid multiresidue method was developed for the determination of twelve quinolones (ciprofloxacin, danofloxacin, difloxacin, enrofloxacin, flumequine, marbofloxacin, nalidixic acid, norfloxacin, ofloxacin, orbifloxacin, oxolinic acid and sarafloxacin) in muscle, liver, chicken eggs, milk, prawn and rainbow trout.The quinolones were extracted from a sample with acetonitrile-water (95 : 5). A fifth part of the filtered extract was diluted with water to keep the acetonitrile ratio at ca. 60%, and passed through a C18 mini-column. The eluate was evaporated to dryness, and the residues were dissolved in methanol-water (30 : 70) for HPLC analysis.The quinolones were separated on a Inertsil ODS-3V column (4.6 mm i.d.x250 mm) with a gradient system of 0.1% phosphoric acid-acetonitrile as the mobile phase, with fluorescence detection.No interfering peak was found on the chromatograms of animal and fishery products, except for milk. The recoveries of the quinolones were over 60% from the animal and fishery products fortified at 0.1 microg/g, and the quantification limits of the quinolones were 0.005 microg/g. This proposed method was found to be effective and suitable for the screening of the quinolones in animal and fishery products.  相似文献

A thin film of NbN (thickness t = 300 Å), has been deposited on an MgO and a Si wafer. Both samples have been studied by transmission from 10 or 20 to 120 cm?1, and have exhibited one maximum of transmission at a given frequency like the classical superconductors as Pb, Sn or Hg in the superconductive state. From the Far IR experimental data, the characteristic temperature θc, and the gap frequency (νgap (θ) = 2 Δ (θ), Δ(θ) being the energy gap) are immediately obtained (for instance for the NbN / MgO sample, θc = 15.5 K; νg (5 K) = 39.7 cm?1), and it is seen that $\frac{{{\text{2}}\vartriangle (4{\text{K)}}}}{{{\text{k}}_{\text{B}} \theta _c }} \approx 3.5$ as expected from the BCS theory for a weak coupling. To fit the data we had to adjust only two additionnal parameters: collision and plasma frequency, νc (θ) and νp (including all carriers). At θ = 5 K, thebest fit for the NbN / MgO sample is obtained with νc = 371 cm?1 and νp = 12,600cm?1.  相似文献
