The hot corrosion Type II of the alloys FeCr20, FeCr20Ni10, FeCr20Ni20, and FeCr20Co10 is investigated at 700°C in air + 0.5% SO2 with deposits consisting of Na2SO4 and a eutectic mixture of Na2SO4 and MgSO4 for 24, 100, and 300 h. The alloying elements nickel and cobalt have a positive influence when tests are conducted using a MgSO4‐Na2SO4 deposit. In this case, they reduce the metal loss and increase the time to the propagation stage. In contrast, when the alloys are exposed with a Na2SO4 deposit, these alloying elements increase the metal loss and allow for the transition to the propagation stage because they can form molten phases with the Na2SO4. During the incubation stage an oxide scale forms on the FeCr20 alloy, which is thicker than the one formed during exposure without a deposit, and iron oxides are observed, which precipitate in the deposit. The propagation stage occurs by a dissolution and precipitation mechanism forming localized pitting attack. Iron is the main species that dissolves and precipitates, while chromium remains mainly as an oxide beneath the initial surface. The additional elements are found in the pit and in the salt deposit.  相似文献

The synthesis of azo dyes via a conventional aqueous-based diazotisation and coupling reaction requires the use of relatively high concentrations of mineral acids, which leads to high electrolyte concentrations in wastewater. Reported in this paper is an environmentally benign one-pot method for the synthesis of a nonionic azo dye, N,N -diethyl- N -{4-[( E )-(4-nitrophenyl)diazenyl]phenyl}amine, in supercritical carbon dioxide without using a mineral acid. The product yield increased significantly with temperature, with 91% theoretical yield afforded at 80 °C. The pressure of the system had little influence on product yield.  相似文献

Summary The effect of molecular weight on the uniaxial orientation process has been analyzed in two samples of thermotropic poly(diethylene glycol p,p′-bibenzoate), evaluating the influence of that parameter on the type of orientation obtained. Several strain rates and deformation temperatures have been tested in order to map out the conditions for obtaining the two different kinds of orientation. The results show that in the lower molecular weight PDEB sample (Mw=31200) it is rather easy to get exclusively perpendicular “anomalous” orientation, with the molecular axes aligned transversely to the stretching direction. However, it is extremely difficult to obtain 100% parallel “normal” orientation. On the contrary, either type of orientation or a mixture of them can be easily developed for the higher molecular weight PDEB sample (Mw=102900).  相似文献

We have measured the [Ca2+] in the endoplasmic reticulum ([Ca2+]er) of intact HeLa cells at both 22 degrees C and 37 degrees C using endoplamsic reticulum-targeted, low Ca2+ affinity aequorin reconstituted with coelenterazine n. Aequorin consumption was much slower at 22 degrees C, and this allowed performing a much longer study of the dynamics of [Ca2+]er. The steady-state [Ca2+]er (500-600 microM) was not modified by the temperature, although both the rates of pumping and leak were decreased at 22 degrees C. The behavior of both [Ca2+]er and cytoplasmic [Ca2+] ([Ca2+]c) after the addition of increasing concentrations of agonists and/or Ca2+-ATPase inhibitors, or following incubation in Ca2+-free medium were compared. We show that agonists induce a fast but relatively small decrease in [Ca2+]er, which is enough to produce a sharp increase in [Ca2+]c. Termination of Ca2+ release is controlled by feedback inhibition of the inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors by [Ca2+]c, a mechanism that appears to be designed to release the minimum amount of Ca2+ necessary to produced the required [Ca2+]c signal. We also show that Ca2+ release is inhibited progressively when [Ca2+]er decreases below a threshold of about 150 microM, even in the absence of Ca2+ pumping or -Ca2+-c increase. This effect is consistent with a regulation of the inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate-gated channels by [Ca2+]er.  相似文献

The prime characteristic of spread spectrum modulated signals is that their bandwidth is greater than the information rate. In this way a redundancy is introduced that allows the severe levels of inteference inherent in the transmission of digital information over radio and satellite links to be overcome. Current spread spectrum applications are primarily in military communications; nevertheless, there is growing interest in this technique for third generation mobile radio networks (UMTS, FPLTS, etc.) with open discussion regarding the practicality of using a multiple access system based on spread spectrum techniques (CDMA). However, in order to support as many users in the same bandwidth as other multiple access techniques such as TDMA or FDMA, it is important how to generate large families of sequences that present low cross-correlation. The aim of this paper is to describe a spreading codes generator that can produce a large number of PN sequences with good properties of auto- and cross-correlation. Moreover, the codes generated shows high unpredictability and good statistical behaviour. This also allows the implementation of some features that are common on military networks such as message privacy (increasingly important in commercial networks) without additional cost. The structure presented shows itself to be advantageous for high speed generation of codes at a low cost, low power consumption (allowing longer life for batteries), small size and simplicity of implementation, essential ingredients for commercial equipment. Another attractive feature is its structural parallelism, useful in VLSI implementations. All of these features render it potentially suitable for the implementation of channel bandwidth sharing systems in future wireless personal communications networks.  相似文献

We report on the use of tapered linearly chirped fiber gratings to equalize dispersion-induced distortion in long distance/broad-band subcarrier multiplexed (SCM) systems. Different apodization functions for the coupling factor of the fiber grating have been considered and their equalizing capability of fiber-induced distortion in a subcarrier system have been compared. The results of the theoretical analysis show that both harmonic and intermodulation distortions are significantly reduced when the equalizer parameters have been properly designed. Higher reduction of the nonlinear distortion is obtained when the length of the filter increases, even though a saturation effect on this reduction figure appears when the equalizer length is about four or five times its minimum value to achieve equalization, which is derived theoretically based on the SCM optical system parameters. The performance of a Tanh-type tapered linearly chirped grating equalizer on a realistic broadband SCM system is also considered. The results reveal that the dispersion-induced distortion can be neglected when the equalizer is employed  相似文献
