A Recommendation System Keeping Both Precision and Recall by Extraction of Uninteresting Information
A recommendation system which recommends interesting information to the target user must guarantee high precision and recall. However, there is trade-off between precision and recall. In this paper, we propose a web page recommendation method balancing both of them by take advantage of uninteresting information. The proposed method extracts the interest and uninterest indicators from not only historical interesting web pages but also uninteresting ones in a target genre. The historical interesting and uninteresting information is derived based on the browsing time and bookmarking. The proposed method can keep precision and recall by excluding the uninteresting information from the recommended ones based on the interest and uninterest indicators. The experimental result proved that the proposed method can improve the precision and recall than an existing method. 相似文献

The stabilities of a commercial diacylglycerol‐rich oil (DAG) and a salad oil (TAG) that had been prepared from a mixture of rapeseed and soybean oils were compared while frying potatoes at 180 °C for 3 h. The representative chemical and physical characteristics of the oils were assessed before and after frying, together with the amount of volatile aldehydes in the exhaust of frying. Among the deterioration indications, the carbonyl value, polymer content, and residual polyunsaturated fatty acid content were similar and not significantly different between the TAG and DAG. On the other hand, the characteristics relating to free fatty acids, i.e. the acid value and emission of chemiluminescence at 100 °C, were greater and the smoke and flash points were lower in the DAG than in the TAG. An irritating odor was generated from the DAG after 1 h of frying and got stronger as frying continued. These results suggested that DAG more easily forms free fatty acids under frying conditions than TAG. 相似文献

Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP)-containing nerve fibers in bone tissue and their involvement in bone remodeling 总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
Bone remodeling is a process of bone renewal accomplished by osteoclastic bone resorption and osteoblastic bone formation. These two activities are regulated by systemic hormones and by local cytokines and growth factors. Moreover, the nervous system and certain neuropeptides seem to be involved in regulation of bone remodeling. In this paper, we focus on the distribution of CGRP-containing nerve fibers and their dynamics, and discuss the role of these fibers as a possible mechanism for nervous system involvement in regulation of bone remodeling. CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers are widely distributed in bone tissue, such as periosteum and bone marrow, and show apparent regional distribution with different densities. They are often associated with blood vessels and show a beaded appearance. The wide distribution of CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers in bone tissue and the changes in distribution during bone development and regeneration suggest the involvement of these fibers in bone remodeling. The effect of CGRP on bone remodeling could partly be through its action on blood vessels, thereby regulating local blood flow. Moreover, in vitro biochemical data and the localization of CGRP-immunoreactive nerve fibers in the vicinity of bone cells suggest that they are directly involved in local regulation of bone remodeling by elevating the concentration of CGRP in the microenvironment around bone cells, especially during bone growth or repair. 相似文献

Food poisoning from Staphylococcus aureus is sometimes caused by improper handling of food items in food preparation facilities. Prevention of contamination by employees is particularly important in facilities where a significant amount of food preparation is performed by hand. Some experiments have been performed to describe bacterial cross-contamination in the food preparation process, but there have been few studies of cross-contamination in actual food preparation facilities. Aiming to shed light on the transmission of S. aureus in food preparation facilities, this study collected samples of 66 strains of this bacterium from the fingers of food preparation staff, foodstuffs, prepared foods, cooking utensils, and cooking equipment and typed them with the ribotyping method. S. aureus from the same ribogroup was detected on the hands of a study participant, a faucet, knife, frying pan, and a salad, indicating that bacteria found on the hands of the study participant was transmitted to cooking utensils and prepared foods. Transmission (from a faucet to a frying pan handle) of bacteria by another person, a third party, was also detected. 相似文献

We report on our prototype experiment that uses a 4-m detuned resonant sideband extraction interferometer with suspended mirrors, which has almost the same configuration as the next-generation, gravitational-wave detectors. We have developed a new control scheme and have succeeded in the operation of such an interferometer with suspended mirrors for the first time ever as far as we know. We believe that this is the first such instrument that can see the radiation pressure signal enhancement, which can improve the sensitivity of next-generation gravitational-wave detectors. 相似文献

A giant danaid butterfly, Idea leuconoe, specializes on apocynaceous plants such as Parsonsia laevigata, which has been reported to contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids. Females of I. leuconoe deposited eggs in response to methanolic extract of P. laevigata, and subsequent bioassay-guided fractionation of the extract revealed that phytochemicals crucial for host recognition by ovipositing females are Parsonsia-specific macrocyclic pyrrolizidine alkaloids including parsonsianine, parsonsianidine, and 17-methylparsonsianidine. Parsonine, another P. laevigata pyrrolizidine component with a keto-dihydropyrrolizine moiety that is closely related in structure to male pheromones of the butterfly, and several nonhost pyrrolizidine alkaloids were entirely inactive. We interpret these data as strong evidence for an ancestral association through herbivory between danaid butterflies and pyrrolizidine alkaloids. 相似文献

Most cases of acute gastroenteritis and foodborne disease are not ascertained by public health surveillance because the ill person does not always seek medical care and submit a stool sample for testing, and the laboratory does not always test for or identify the causative organism. We estimated the total burden of acute gastroenteritis in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, using data from two 2-week cross-sectional, population-based telephone surveys conducted in 2006 and 2007. To estimate the number of acute gastroenteritis illnesses caused by Campylobacter, Salmonella, and Vibrio parahaemolyticus in Miyagi Prefecture, we determined the number of cases for each pathogen from active laboratory-based surveillance during 2005 to 2006 and adjusted for seeking of medical care and submission of stool specimens by using data from the population-based telephone surveys. Monte Carlo simulation was used to incorporate uncertainty. The prevalence of acute gastroenteritis in the preceding 4 weeks was 3.3% (70 of 2,126) and 3.5% (74 of 2,121) in the winter and summer months, yielding an estimated 44,200 episodes of acute gastroenteritis each year in this region. Among people with acute gastroenteritis, the physician consultation rate was 32.0%, and 10.9% of persons who sought care submitted a stool sample. The estimated numbers of Campylobacter-, Salmonella-, and V. parahaemolyticus -associated episodes of acute gastroenteritis were 1,512, 209, and 100 per 100,000 population per year, respectively, in this region. These estimates are significantly higher than the number of reported cases in surveillance in this region. Cases ascertained from active surveillance were also underrepresented in the present passive surveillance, suggesting that complementary surveillance systems, such as laboratory-based active surveillance in sentinel sites, are needed to monitor food safety in Japan. 相似文献

Brain histamine mediates the bombesin-induced central activation of sympatho-adrenomedullary outflow
Intracerebroventricular (i.c.v.) administration of bombesin (0.3 nmol) increased plasma levels of both adrenaline and noradrenaline in urethane anesthetized rats. These bombesin-induced increases were inhibited by i.c.v. pretreatment with pyrilamine, an H1-receptor antagonist. Ranitidine, an H2-receptor antagonist also inhibited the increase of adrenaline, however, its effective dose was much larger than that of pyrilamine. Furthermore, the bombesin-induced increase of noradrenaline was not effectively inhibited by ranitidine. In the next series, turnover of histamine was assessed by measuring accumulation of tele-methylhistamine (t-MH), a major metabolite of brain histamine. I.c.v. administration of bombesin (0.3-3 nmol) increased turnover of hypothalamic histamine, while its intravenous administration was without effect. The present results suggest that the bombesin-induced central activation of sympatho-adrenomedullary outflow is probably, at least in part, mediated through brain histaminergic neurons. 相似文献

Functional roles of adrenoceptors in parietal cells were pharmacologically investigated using isolated canine parietal cells. In the crude membranes obtained from preparations highly purified in parietal cells (> 95% of purity), the specific binding of [3H]dihydroalprenolol (DHA) was observed with a Kd value of 2.9 nM and Bmax of 234 fmol/mg protein, while the specific binding of [3H]prazosin and [3H]rauwolscine were not attained. Propranolol concentration-dependently reduced the specific binding of [3H]dihydroalprenolol with a Ki value of 2.6 nM. Isoproterenol concentration-dependently stimulated [14C]aminopyrine accumulation in preparations enriched in parietal cells (about 70% purity) with the maximum at 10 nM. Isoproterenol increased the content of cyclic AMP in preparations enriched in parietal cells (70%) with the maximum at 100 nM. The isoproterenol-induced stimulatory effect of [14C]aminopyrine accumulation in preparations enriched in parietal cells (70%) was completely abolished by 1 microM propranolol but not by 1 microM phentolamine. In the presence of 1 microM propranolol, 100 microM noradrenaline did not affect carbachol- and histamine-induced [14C]aminopyrine accumulation in preparations enriched in parietal cells (70%). The present study suggests that stimulation of beta-adrenoceptors located on canine parietal cells evokes acid production in a cyclic-AMP-dependent manner. Furthermore, a possibility arises that canine parietal cells are not the site of action of alpha-adrenoceptors in mediating inhibition of gastric acid secretion. 相似文献
