The effective diffusion coefficients of Cu for thermal and photodiffusion in the CdTe films have been estimated from resistivity versus duration of thermal or photoannealing curves. In the temperature range 60–200°C the effective coefficient of thermal diffusion (Dt) and photodiffusion (Dph) are described as Dt=7.3×10−7exp(−0.33/kT) and Dph=4.7×10−8exp(−0.20/kT).It is found that the diffusion doping of CdTe thin films by Cu at 400°C results in a sharp decrease of resistivity up to 7 orders of magnitude of p-type material, depending on thickness of Cu film. The comparative study of performance of CdTe(Cu)/CdS and CdTe/CdS cells has been studied. It is shown that the diffusion doping of CdTe film by Cu increases efficiency of CdTe(Cu)/CdS cells from 0.9% to 6.8%. The degradation of photovoltaic parameters of CdTe(Cu)/CdS cell, during testing under forward and reverse bias at room temperature, proceeds at a larger rate than those of CdTe/CdS cell without Cu. The degradation of performance of CdTe(Cu)/CdS cells is tentatively assigned to electrodiffusion of Cu in CdTe, resulting in redistribution of concentration of Cu-related centers in CdTe film and heterojunction region.  相似文献

The Au/Porous silicon structure (Au/PS) was developed as hydrogen fuel cell. The use of a porous silicon filled with hydrochloric acid as a proton‐conducting membrane and thin gold film as a catalyst in Au/PS/Si fuel cell is demonstrated. The devices were fabricated by first creating 10–20 µm thick porous silicon layer by anodization etching in a standard silicon wafer and then depositing the gold catalyst film onto the porous silicon. Using sodium borohydride (NaBH4) solution as the fuel, generation of the open‐circuit voltage of 0.55 V and the fuel cell peak power density of 13 mW cm−2 at room temperature was achieved. Moreover production of hydrogen by evolution (out‐diffusion) of hydrogen from solid sodium borohydride during thermal annealing at 30–120°C was investigated. Data on the effective diffusion coefficient of the hydrogen in NaBH4 were determined from intensity changes of infrared vibration peaks of B–H bond (2280 and 3280 cm−1), as a result of thermal annealing of NaBH4 samples. The relatively high values of the diffusion coefficient of hydrogen, increasing from 1×10−6 cm2 s−1 to 2×10−4 cm2 s−1 suggest that a thermo‐stimulated evolution process can be used for producing hydrogen from NaBH4. The surfaces of pencil graphite electrodes (PGEs) were decorated with zinc oxide nanowires (ZnO NWs) for the electrochemical detection of nucleic acids. ZnO NWs were synthesized through simple hydrothermal method. PGEs decorated with ZnO NWs (ZnO NW/PGEs) were electrochemically characterized through cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) following morphological characterization through transmission (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Enhanced sensor response obtained using ZnO NW/PGEs contrary to the bare PGE (control) samples. Our preliminary results simply reveal the potential of combining ZnO NWs with disposable sensor technology for the electrochemical detection of DNA.  相似文献

In this paper, an application of a robust quadratic stabilization algorithm (RQSA) to continuous-time and discrete-time observers is presented. The RQSA is based on checking end points of a bounding hyperpolyhedron. The RQSA applied to observers is introduced, and implemented for a simplified car model, in both continuous-time and discrete-time case. The paper concludes that the RQSA is feasible to estimate unavailable states, even though there are structured uncertainties in the system matrix and in the measurement matrix.  相似文献

Cross‐linked poly(orthocarbonate)s were prepared by condensation of the tetraethyl orthocarbonate with different length of aliphatic diols. The synthesized polymers have been characterized by Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, solid‐state 13C cross‐polarization magic angle spinning (CPMAS) nuclear magnetic resonance, thermal gravimetric analysis, and elemental analysis. The cross‐linked polymers were evaluated for organic solvent absorbency application. The effect of diol type on swelling properties of cross‐linked polymers was studied through the solvent absorption tests. The swelling parameters such as maximum solvent absorbency, saturation time, and retention of the solvent were evaluated for the synthesized sorbents. This work presents the theoretical and experimental studies conducted in Aerospace Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University on smart structures with particular attention given to the structural modelling characteristics and active suppression of in-vacuo vibrations. The smart structures considered in these analyses are finite and flat aluminium cantilever beam-like (called as smart beam) and plate-like (called as smart fin) structures with surface bonded lead–zirconate–titanate patches. Finite element models of smart beam and smart fin are obtained. Then the experimental studies regarding open loop behaviour of the structures are performed by using strain gauges and laser displacement sensor to determine the system models. Further studies are carried out to obtain H and μ-synthesis controllers which are intended to be used in the suppression of free and forced vibrations of the smart structures. It is observed that satisfactory attenuation levels are achieved and robust performance of the systems in the presence of uncertainties is ensured. In that respect a comparative study involving H and sliding mode controls is also conducted. Recently, the studies involving aerodynamic loading are also gathering pace.  相似文献

We have studied the influence of the spacer alkyl chain length of perylenemonoimide (PMI) dyes on the device performance in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). We observed that the dyes with longer and brunched alkyl chains exhibit higher efficiencies in DSSCs. In line with these statements we now report the highest efficiency obtained under standard conditions for a perylene imide derivative with PMI-DA1 that performs 300 mV open circuit voltage, 9.79 mA/cm2 short-circuit current and 1.61% overall conversion efficiency.  相似文献

This study was undertaken to determine the presence and levels of aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) in Turkish white brined cheese consumed in the province of Erzurum, Turkey. For this purpose, a total of 193 cheese samples were randomly obtained from retail outlets and Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) technique was used to determine the presence and levels of AFM1. AFM1 at detectable level (50 ng/kg) was found in 82.4% of the samples. The concentration of AFM1 in samples ranged from 52 to 860 ng/kg. Of the samples, 26.4% exceed the legal limit of 250 ng/kg established by Turkish Food Codex. It was concluded that widespread occurrence of AFM1 in Turkish white brined cheese samples were considered to be possible hazards for public health especially children.  相似文献

In this paper, the algorithms verifying the covariance matrix of the Kalman filter innovation sequence are compared with respect to detected minimum fault rate and detection time. Four algorithms are dealt with; the algorithm verifying the trace of the covariance matrix of the innovation sequence, the algorithm verifying the sum of all elements of the inverse covariance matrix of the innovation sequence, the optimal algorithm verifying the ratio of two quadratic forms of which matrices are theoretic and selected covariance matrices of Kalman filter innovation sequence, and the algorithm verifying the generalized variance of the covariance matrix of the innovation sequence. The algorithms are implemented for longitudinal dynamics of an aircraft to detect sensor faults, and some suggestions are given on the use of the algorithms in flight control systems.  相似文献
