The interface properties of an unusual CdS/Cu(In, Ga)Se2 solar cell have been studied by admittance and impedance spectroscopy. The current transport in this device has previously appeared to be dominated by tunnelling enhanced recombination at junction interface. The existence of this unexpected route was attributed to the presence of Cu-rich and indium depleted thin layer which might possibly be formed on the absorber surface. We have performed temperature dependent admittance and impedance measurements in order to clarify this phenomenon. An acceptor level with ionization energy of about 50 meV seems to be strongly correlated to the appearance of the CuGaSe2 layer. The impedance spectra obtained at 100 K and 300 K exhibited single semi-circles. This indicates the dominance of the heterojunction interface without the effect of any other capacitive components. The equivalent circuit model consisting of a parallel resistor and capacitor in series with a resistor has been found to give a good fit to the experimental data.  相似文献

The performance of differential minimum shift keyed (DMSK) systems, with and without nonredundant error correction, is studied. Previous publications described DMSK systems in an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) environment. This correspondence presents a study and original performance results of DMSK systems operated in a combined adjacent-channel-interference (ACI) and AWGN environment. Our experimental (hardware) and computer simulation results are found to be in close agreement.  相似文献

A solid phase extraction procedure is proposed for simultaneous separation and preconcentration trace amounts of Cu(II) and Cd(II) using alumina coated with N'-{4-[4-{1-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylidene}-5-(4-H)oxazolone]phenyle}acetamide and determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Using 0.1g of the sorbent, the metal ions were sorbed at pH 7 and recovered with 5.0 mL of 0.5 mol L(-1) HNO(3). It was found that extraction can be performed from the sample volumes of 2000 and 800 mL for Cu and Cd, respectively (preconcentration factors of 400 for Cu and 160 for Cd). Obtained sorption capacities for 1g sorbent were 8 mg Cu and 14 mg Cd. The linearity was maintained in the concentration range of 0.1 ng mL(-1) to 7.0 μg mL(-1) for Cu and 0.13 ng mL(-1) to 2.0 μg mL(-1) for Cd in the original solution. Eight replicate determinations of a mixture containing 1.0 μg mL(-1) each of the elements in the final solution gave relative standard deviation ±1.6 and ±1.3% for Cu and Cd, respectively. The detection limit was calculated as 0.06 and 0.05 ng mL(-1) for Cu and Cd, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination trace amounts of Cu and Cd in the water and plant samples.  相似文献

This paper investigates the effect of heat treatment temperature on the interfacial shear strength (IFSS) of carbon/carbon composites reinforced with polyacrylonitrile-based fibers. A series of single fiber push-out tests were performed on specimens heat treated at 1800, 2100, and 2400 °C, using a nanoindenter with a flat ended conical tip. The microstructure was characterized using polarized light and transmission electron microscopy and the debonded fiber/matrix interface was examined using scanning electron microscopy. Wavelet analysis of the load–displacement data was used as an additional tool to investigate the initiation and progression of debonding. Compared to 1800 °C, heat treatment at 2400 °C was associated with a decrease in IFSS, from 12 to 7 MPa. Transmission electron microscopy study showed that the microstructure of the fiber/matrix interphase remained amorphous even with heat treatment at 2400 °C. The decrease in the IFSS can be partly attributed to the reorganization of the graphene sheets in the matrix in the vicinity of fiber/matrix interphase. The thermal expansion mismatch between fiber and pyrocarbon matrix is another possible reason for the observed decrease in the IFSS.  相似文献

Biological nitrogen fixation is mediated by the nitrogenase enzyme system that catalyses the ATP dependent reduction of atmospheric dinitrogen to ammonia. Nitrogenase consists of two component metalloproteins, the MoFe-protein with the FeMo-cofactor that provides the active site for substrate reduction, and the Fe-protein that couples ATP hydrolysis to electron transfer. An overview of the nitrogenase system is presented that emphasizes the structural organization of the proteins and associated metalloclusters that have the remarkable ability to catalyse nitrogen fixation under ambient conditions. Although the mechanism of ammonia formation by nitrogenase remains enigmatic, mechanistic inferences motivated by recent developments in the areas of nitrogenase biochemistry, spectroscopy, model chemistry and computational studies are discussed within this structural framework.  相似文献

The frequency, antibiotic susceptibility, and genotypic discrimination of Aeromonas strains isolated from municipally treated drinking tap water distribution systems were investigated in this study. We have analyzed 148 tap water samples collected from 8 different locations by bacterial cultivation and arbitrarily primed polymerase chain reaction (AP-PCR). Gram negative, hemolytic, oxidase (+) and catalase (+) bacterial colonies were applied to the study. Identification of bacterial colonies was done by conventional biochemical method and API ID 20E panel (BioMerieux-France). Molecular epidemiological discrimination of the isolates was done by AP-PCR. Aeromonas spp. was detected in 6 of 148 (4%) tap water samples from 8 different locations. Five isolates were identified as Aeromonas hydrophila and one isolate was identified as Vibrio fluvialis by conventional biochemical method. These data were also confirmed by API 20E panel. One of 6 isolates was resistant to gentamicin, 2 of 6 isolates were resistant to trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, 4 of 6 isolates were resistant to ampicillin and ampicillin-sulbactam and all of 6 isolates were resistant to cephalothin. All isolates were found to be susceptible to amikacin, aztreonam, ceftazidime, ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin. All 6 strains of Aeromonas were discriminated by AP-PCR and were determined that all isolates were from different genotypic sources. Although the frequency of the isolates was under the standard limits, the results indicate that hemolytic A. hydrophila are present in municipally treated tap water samples in Mersin City. While all strains were genotypically distinct, all of them were resistant to first generation beta lactam antibiotics tested in this study.  相似文献

Torsion bars are some of the most important elements used in projectile weaving machines. In this study, the fracture of a torsion bar for weaving machine produced from spring steel is investigated. Specimens prepared from the damaged torsion bars were subjected to visual inspection, hardness testing, chemical analysis, and metallurgical evaluations. The failed torsion bars had been fabricated from spring steel, and the calculated stress on the bars suggested that the steel did not have sufficient torsional strength. Examination of fractured parts showed that all fractures started at a shoulder radius due to high stress concentrations.  相似文献

This paper presents that an analytical method based on Lambert W-function can be applied to estimate the value of the diode ideality factor n, of a ZnO/CdS/Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cell by using its dark current-voltage characteristics. The method is tested at different temperatures in the dark and found that the resulting n(T) values are in good agreement with those estimated experimentally from the slopes of the straight-line regions of Log I-V plots. The suggested values of n(T) under illumination are also determined using the exact explicit analytic solutions for the current-voltage relation expressed in terms of Lambert W-functions and experimentally estimated parasitic series and shunt resistances (Rs, Rsh), diode saturation current (Io), open circuit voltage (Voc) and short circuit current (Isc) values at various temperatures. Temperature dependence of the diode ideality factor revealed that after illumination still tunnelling enhanced interface recombination mechanism dominates the current transport with relatively low tunnelling energy as compared to the dark case.  相似文献
