The presence in serum of adenylate kinase isoenzyme originating from erythrocyte can be useful as a marker for detecting hemolysis. We have presented preliminary evidence for identifying hemolytic anemia patients earlier by determining erythrocyte AK isoenzyme activity in serum (or plasma) rather than using measurement of plasma hemoglobin concentration. This test being quite specific for hemolysis should find use as a quick method for estimating the extent of in vivo hemolysis in hemolytic patients earlier than heretofore possible.  相似文献

The L1 capsid proteins derived from human papillomavirus (HPV) type 33 were expressed in a recombinant baculovirus system using Sf9 insect cells. Selected sera originating in women from case-control study carried out in Spain and Colombia found negative and positive for HPV16, 18, 31, 33 and 35 DNA were tested in ELISA for the presence of IgG antibodies to purified virus-like particles (VLP). The reactivity was type-restricted with the possible exception of HPV31.  相似文献

260 cases of women with epithelial neoplasias of the uterine cervix were studied: HPV infection was detected by DNA in situ hybridization and serology, simultaneously structure and intensity of stromal inflammatory reaction (SR) were evaluated (semiquantitatively) as well as standard clinical immunological parametres investigated by serology. Results proved the same character of SR in intraepithelial lesions and invasive carcinomas and the intensity of SR increasing in relation to the gravity of epithelial dysplasia. There was not found any significant difference in SR between cases with detected HPV infection and cases lacking it. Summarized immunological parametres were in limits of normal reference range.  相似文献
