The ball-milling of coal with methylmethacrylate monomer was carried out under vacuum at 77 K and at room temperature and in air. The e.s.r. and i.r. spectra of ball-milled material showed that a copolymer of coal and methylmethacrylate was formed on the surfaces of coal created by ball-mining. Oxygen is an inhibitor to this process.  相似文献

E.s.r. spectra of chain-end spin labels on the surface of polyethylene powder were obtained for high and low density polyethylene samples at various stages of heat treatment process. The subsequent crystalline structures of the samples were examined with wide angle and small angle X-ray diffraction spectra. The effects of annealing on the motion of the labels were dependent on annealing temperature and the type of the samples. Higher temperature annealing decreased the rotational correlation times (τc) and their activation energy in high density polyethylene but did not affect those of low density polyethylene. Melting decreases the values of τc and ΔE for both high an low density polyethylene samples. The cause of these decreases were attributed to the changing of the sites of the chain-end labels. The motion of the labels appeared to be influenced by the local segmental motion of the polymer main chains.  相似文献

Indoleamine 2,3‐dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) has emerged as a key target for cancer therapy, as IDO1 plays a critical role in the capacity of tumor cells to evade the immune system. The pyrrolopiperazinone alkaloid longamide B and its derivatives were identified as novel IDO1 inhibitors based on docking studies and small library synthesis. The thioamide derivative showed higher IDO1 inhibitory activity than longamide B, and displayed an activity similar to that of a representative IDO1 inhibitor, 1‐methyl‐tryptophan. These results suggest that the pyrrolopiperazinone scaffold of longamide B could be used in the development of IDO1 inhibitors.  相似文献

The attenuated total reflectance infrared (ATR-IR) spectra of several aqueous solutions have been measured by using a newly developed heatable rod-type ATR cell. The OH stretching bands showed systematic change with increasing solute concentrations and these changes can be explained by four different OH components based on curve-fitting results. NaCl solutions show longer H-bond distance character, while carbonate solutions present shorter ones. The Na2CO3 1 M solution conserves this shorter H-bond nature up to 100 degrees C. On the other hand, the loose nature of NaCl solutions becomes less pronounced at higher temperatures because of the dissociation of pure water clusters. These in situ observations of water structures are generally in agreement with the expected nature of fluids within the earth.  相似文献

Electrodeposition will prove to be a promising candidate for the preparation of magnetic nanostructures. Multilayered Co/Pt nanostructures grown on a Cu(111) single-crystal substrate by electrodeposition under potential control exhibit a remanent perpendicular magnetization and a large coercivity, which depend on the deposition overpotential and hence the multilayer growth mechanism. Giant magnetoresistance and oscillatory antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling have been observed in a face-centered cubic (fcc) (111) textured Co/Cu multilayered nanostructure. Moreover, a large saturation magnetoresistance of more than 20% has been achieved at room temperature for a heterogeneous Co-Cu alloy, which consists of ultrafine fcc Co-rich clusters in a nonmagnetic Cu matrix  相似文献

The microsatellite mutator phenotype (MMP), detected as a change in the number of repeating units in hundreds of thousands of microsatellite sequences in the tumor cell genome, underlies the carcinogenesis of a variety of tumors including sporadic and hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancers. This enhanced microsatellite instability was discovered using arbitrarily primed polymerase chain reaction (AP-PCR) fingerprinting of DNA from colon cancers. In this study, we found an arbitrary primer that can amplify multiple DNA fragments containing repeated sequences, including the poly A tracts found in the Alu repeats of the human genome. The combined use of primer labeling with fluorescence and an automated DNA sequencing analysis of AP-PCR products (FAP-PCR) detected alterations in fingerprint bands in all DNA samples previously determined to belong to the MMP. Fluorescent AP-PCR fingerprinting using this single arbitrary primer provides a convenient and efficient method for detecting tumor specific fingerprint alterations that are usually undetectable by conventional fingerprinting.  相似文献

E.s.r. spectra of peroxy radicals trapped in isotactic and atactic polypropylenes have been observed at various temperatures. The spectrum observed at 77 K was shown to be composed of one component by comparing it with that at 4 K. The spectra observed at higher temperatures comprised of two spectra arising from the rigid peroxy radicals and the mobile peroxy radicals. All of the observed spectra have been reconstructed by means of computer simulation and the changes in anisotropic g-values with temperature were estimated. The motion of the mobile fraction was shown to be rotation or rotatory vibration of the radicals around the chain axis both in the isotactic polypropylene and in the atactic polypropylene as well as in polyethylene and poly(tetrafluoroethylene) although the structures of the polymers are different, that is helical (polypropylene) or planar zigzag (polyethylene, poly(tetrafluoroethylene)).  相似文献

Temperature dependent e.s.r. spectra of peroxy radicals in urea—polyethylene complex materials (UPEC) were discussed. Peroxy radicals in UPEC were much more stable than in normal polyethylene. Change of anisotropic g-values of the radicals with temperature were investigated and it was found that the g1-axis, which was assigned to be parallel to the chain axis, seemed to be almost unchanged throughout the temperature range in the present study, but the g2- and g3-axes changed drastically. Using these results, it was concluded that the main motion of the radical sites was rotation around the chain axis and this motion was found to be much faster than in normal polyethylene, which we have already studied and which we reported recently. This is a reflection of the properties of the materials studied, i.e. interaction between molecular chains in UPEC must be much weaker than in normal polyethylene because of the presence of the wall of urea molecules in the former.  相似文献
