The preparation and characterization of electrosynthesized poly(o-phenylenediamine) (PPD) imprinted by glucose (iPPD) is reported as the first case of an electrosynthesized polymer molecularly imprinted by a neutral template. The material is employed as the recognition element of a QCM biomimetic sensor for glucose. Scatchard analysis of the relevant calibration curve offers information on the equilibrium and binding sites involved in glucose detection. XPS comparison of PPD and iPPD supports the occurrence of a templating effect. On this basis, molecular imprinting electropolymerization is proposed as a possible strategy for the preparation of new materials with molecular recognition properties to be applied in biomimetic sensors.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to assess the microbial populations causing the spoilage of chilled beef during storage and to evaluate the effect of the use of an antimicrobial packaging for the meat storage. A nisin activated antimicrobial packaging was developed by using a nisin, HCL and EDTA solution and used for the storage of beef cuts at 1 °C. The common spoilage related microbial groups were monitored during the storage of beef in activated and non activated plastic bags by using selective media. The use of the antimicrobial packaging caused an overall significant reduction of viable counts of Gram positive bacteria such as carnobacteria, lactic acid bacteria and Brochotrix thermosphacta whose development was inhibited for at least 11 days of storage compared to the control. Moreover, a 1–3 log cycles reduction of enterobacteria was also registered between 22 and 32 days of storage. The microbiota was assessed at species level by using Polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (PCR-DGGE) analysis of 16S rRNA gene of DNA extracted directly from meat and from bulk cells from selective media plates and showed that the species occurring within the targeted microbial groups did not change according to storage conditions. In conclusion, the use of the nisin activated packaging reduced the number of spoilage populations but did not affect the species diversity. Improved antimicrobial packaging is needed, possibly coupled with vacuum storage, to possibly achieve a simultaneous inhibition of more spoilage microbial groups and to preserve the microbiological quality of beef during chilled storage.  相似文献

We address the generation of entangled photon pairs by parametric downconversion from solid state cw lasers with small coherence time. We consider a compact and low-cost setup based on a two-crystal scheme with type-I phase matching. We reconstruct the full density matrix by quantum tomography and analyze in detail the entanglement properties of the generated state as a function of the crystal's length and the coherence time of the pump. We verify the possibility to improve the visibility using a purification protocol based on a compensation crystal.  相似文献

SPECT scanning with Tc99mHM-PAO was performed on 40 children with 'intractable' partial epilepsy; 27 patients had abnormalities on SPECT images consisting of areas of decreased cerebral blood flow. In 18 of these 27 subjects there was a good correlation between site of the abnormalities on SPECT scan and interictal EEG foci. 12 patients with regionally decreased CBF had also neuroimaging (C.T. and/or R.M.I.) abnormalities. The brain SPECT provides more precise detection of epileptogenic foci, when used to complement EEG, also in childhood-onset epilepsy.  相似文献

The U16 small nucleolar RNA (snoRNA) is encoded by the third intron of the L1 (L4, according to the novel nomenclature) ribosomal protein gene of Xenopus laevis and originates from processing of the pre-mRNA in which it resides. The U16 snoRNA belongs to the box C/D snoRNA family, whose members are known to assemble in ribonucleoprotein particles (snoRNPs) containing the protein fibrillarin. We have utilized U16 snoRNA in order to characterize the factors that interact with the conserved elements common to the other members of the box C/D class. In this study, we have analyzed the in vivo assembly of U16 snoRNP particles in X. laevis oocytes and identified the proteins which interact with the RNA by label transfer after UV cross-linking. This analysis revealed two proteins, of 40- and 68-kDa apparent molecular size, which require intact boxes C and D together with the conserved 5',3'-terminal stem for binding. Immunoprecipitation experiments showed that the p40 protein corresponds to fibrillarin, indicating that this protein is intimately associated with the RNA. We propose that fibrillarin and p68 represent the RNA-binding factors common to box C/D snoRNPs and that both proteins are essential for the assembly of snoRNP particles and the stabilization of the snoRNA.  相似文献
