ABSTRACT Nine sowing densities of linseed were compared in a two-year experiment. Self-regulation of the density of a linseed stand resulted in a differentiated branching of the plants. The number of capsules on a linseed shoot, as well as seeds in the capsule, and the number of seeds from the shoot were highly varied from year to year, and there is even a stronger differentiation in the weight of 1000 seeds. Linear relationships were noted between the mass of seeds from the linseed plant and the number of capsules. The yield of linseed was affected by both factors. An increasing sowing rate reduced the seed yield from the shoot and the plant. At lower seeding rates, the lateral shoots contributed in the seeds yield of the plant to a higher degree compared to the main ones. 相似文献

ABCB1 modulation is an interesting strategy in the search for new anticancer agents that can overcome multidrug resistance (MDR). Hence, 17 new 5-arylideneimidazolones containing an amine moiety, as potential ABCB1 inhibitors, were designed, synthesized, and investigated. The series was tested in both parental (PAR) and multidrug-resistant (MDR) ABCB1-overexpressing T-lymphoma cancer cells using cytotoxicity assays. The ABCB1-modulating activity was examined in rhodamine 123 accumulation tests, followed by Pgp-Glo™ Assay to determine the influence of the most active compounds on ATPase activity. Lipophilic properties were assessed both, in silico and experimentally (RP-TLC). Pharmacophore-based molecular modelling toward ABCB1 modulation was performed. The studies allowed the identification of anticancer agents (p-fluorobenzylidene derivatives) more potent than doxorubicin, with highly selective action on MDR T-lymphoma cells (selectivity index >40). Most of the investigated compounds showed ABCB1-modulating action; in particular, two 5-benzyloxybenzylidene derivatives displayed activity nearly as strong as that of tariquidar. 相似文献

The demand for ultraviolet (UV)‐crosslinkable pressure‐sensitive adhesives (PSAs) has rapidly been increasing. A variety of different PSAs containing new photoreactive pyridinium derivatives have been evaluated for their effectiveness in improving adhesion and cohesion in UV‐crosslinkable PSAs. PSAs have been evaluated with respect to the tack, peel adhesion, and shear strength. We propose a new distance measure, called Complement weighted sum of minimal distances, between finite sets in ${\mathbb Z }^n$ and evaluate its usefulness for shape registration and matching. In this set distance the contribution of each point of each set is weighted according to its distance to the complement of the set. In this way, outliers and noise contribute less to the new similarity measure. We evaluate the performance of the new set distance for registration of shapes in binary images and compare it to a number of often used set distances found in the literature. The most extensive evaluation uses a set of synthetic 2D images. We also show three examples of real problems: registering a set of 2D images extracted from synchrotron radiation micro-computed tomography (SR $\upmu $ CT) volumes depicting bone implants; the difficult multi-modal registration task of finding the exact location of a 2D slice of a bone implant, as imaged by a light microscope, within a 3D SR $\upmu $ CT volume of the same implant; and finally recognition of handwritten characters. The evaluation shows that our new set distance performs well for all tasks and outperforms the other observed distance measures in most cases. Maximum bubble pressure, dilatometric, and meniscographic methods were used in the investigations of the surface tension,
density, wetting time, wetting force, contact angle, and interfacial tension of liquid alloys of Sn−Ag−Cu eutectic composition
with various additions of Bi. Density and surface tension measurements were conducted in the temperature range 250–900 °C.
Surface tensions at 250 °C measured under a protective atmosphere of Ar−H2 were combined with data from meniscographic studies done under air or with a protective flux. The meniscographic data with
a nonwetted teflon substrate provided data on interfacial tension (solder-flux), surface tension in air, and meniscographic
data with a Cu substrate allowed determinations of wetting time, wetting force, and calculation of contact angle. The calculated
wetting angles from meniscographic studies for binary Sn−Ag eutectic and two ternary Sn−Ag−Cu alloys were verified by separate
measurements by the sessile drop method under a protective atmosphere with a Cu substrate. Additions of Bi to both ternary

The ADAMIS database was used for calculation of the surface tension of the quaternary Sn−Ag−Cu−Bi liquid alloys by Butler's
model. The resultant data were compared with those from the maximum bubble pressure measurements from Part I. The same thermodynamic
database was next applied for the calculation of various phase equilibria. It was established that the Bi addition to the
ternary Sn−Ag−Cu alloys (Sn-2.6Ag-0.46Cu and Sn-3.13Ag-0.74Cu in at.%; Sn-2.56Ag-0.26 Cu and Sn-2.86Ag-O.40Cu in mass%) causes
lowering of the melting temperature and the surface tension to make the tested alloys closer to, traditional Sn−Pb solders.
The simulation of the solidification by Scheil's model showed that the alloys with the higher Bi concentration are characterized
by the lifting-off failure due to the segregation of Bi at the solder/substrate boundary. Thus, in modeling of new Pb-free
solders, a compromise among various properties should be taken into consideration. 相似文献
